Good Morning! Well, at least the sun god. Although valiantly sparing with the cloud people, I think the sun god is slowly losing the battle to the cloud people. I only just wish the angels would hurry up and urinate the clouds away before they wet their panties. Get it over with instead of dancing around doing the pee-pee dance! Says Abigale the Sorceress.

Well, at least I am not planning on going very far today, and I hope and pray that the nasty butt-killing bugs they have today will have diminished by February. I did not like colds and the ordinary flu you get every fall, where you are sick in bed for maybe a couple of days. I spent the rest of the days off school bugging my mom, but she enjoyed it. I believe she enjoyed it whenever my sister and I were off school; although she wouldn't exactly say it because it may have encouraged us to take more time out of school, she was right not admitting it; she just enjoyed it.

That's all I can remember about being sick in bed back then. It certainly wasn't a death sentence. If shots were required, we got inoculated at school; I can only remember once having been inoculated at home, and I don't know what that was for. The biggest scare back then was cancer.

My biggest personal scare was when I was about 4 years old; I mistook a can of stove oil for water and drank it. It nearly killed me. I also remember once when my mom was ill, and they had to take her away on a train. We lived in a lumber camp back then, about 30 to 40 miles from the nearest town; she had a miscarriage. I was around 4 or 5 years old then. I can only remember Dad putting on the apron twice in my life, while my mom was in recovery from the miscarriage, and also one other time later when I was around 10, maybe 11 years old, when they had to fly mom to the nearest hospital for a hysterectomy.

Trump to endure the embarrassment of criminal sentencing after last-ditch Supreme Court appeal fails

The Supreme Court didn’t help Donald Trump … this time.

The court’s 5-4 decision Thursday to deny the president-elect’s last-minute effort to delay sentencing in his New York hush money case sets up a stunning moment – a Friday court date just 10 days before Trump is sworn in for a second term.

Judge Juan Merchan has already said he won’t impose a jail term. But the sentencing hearing will nevertheless mean that Trump will be the first president to take office with a criminal conviction written into his official record.

Quebec plane fighting L.A. fires grounded after being struck by drone

'It is extremely irresponsible, and people could have been killed,' spokesperson says of drone incident

A Quebec water bomber fighting the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles has been grounded after it collided with a drone flying in restricted airspace, officials said.

The collision left the plane, known as Quebec 1, with a "sizable hole in its wing," said Christopher Thomas, a spokesperson with the California state firefighting agency, Cal Fire.

"Fortunately, they landed the plane without incident," Thomas said in an interview Friday.

¡Buenos días! Bueno, al menos el dios del sol. Aunque valientemente se enfrenta a la gente de las nubes, creo que el dios del sol está perdiendo lentamente la batalla contra la gente de las nubes. Bueno, al menos no planeo ir muy lejos hoy, y espero y rezo para que los desagradables bichos que matan traseros que tienen hoy hayan disminuido para febrero. No me gustaban los resfriados y la gripe común que te da cada otoño, donde estás enferma en cama durante quizás un par de días. Pasé el resto de los días libres de la escuela molestando a mi madre, pero ella lo disfrutaba. Creo que lo disfrutaba cuando mi hermana y yo no teníamos escuela; Aunque no lo diría exactamente porque eso podría habernos animado a tomarnos más tiempo fuera de la escuela, tenía razón en no admitirlo; simplemente lo disfrutaba.

Eso es todo lo que puedo recordar de estar enferma en la cama en ese entonces. Ciertamente no era una sentencia de muerte. Si las vacunas eran obligatorias, nos vacunaban en la escuela; solo puedo recordar una vez que me vacunaron en casa, y no sé para qué era eso. El mayor susto en ese entonces fue el cáncer.

Mi mayor susto personal fue cuando tenía unos 4 años; confundí una lata de aceite de cocina con agua y me la bebí. Casi me mata. También recuerdo una vez cuando mi madre estaba enferma y tuvieron que llevársela en un tren. Vivíamos en un campamento maderero en ese entonces, a unas 30 o 40 millas del pueblo más cercano; ella tuvo un aborto espontáneo. Yo tenía alrededor de 4 o 5 años en ese momento. Solo recuerdo que papá se puso el delantal dos veces en mi vida, mientras mi mamá se recuperaba del aborto espontáneo, y también otra vez más tarde, cuando yo tenía unos 10, tal vez 11 años, cuando tuvieron que llevar a mi mamá en avión al hospital más cercano para una histerectomía.

Estoy bastante seguro de que si sé esto, hay algunos médicos que son bastante conscientes del patrón creciente de este aumento entre nuestra creciente población y la conducta psicótica.
