Land of Whispering Pines ๐ŸŒฒ

Good Morning! May Great Spirit bless ๐Ÿ™

It's a beautiful day.... I'm fibbin' a bit, it's cloudy, grey, cool, and windy out, a typical November Day here at the Tree House. But today the sun is shining brightly inside, so for me it's a beautiful day, unless someone ๐Ÿ’ฉ on my ๐Ÿ‘ . That sometimes happens. I am learning to put aside the apple cart before entering the unknown fray and chaos that lies before me; my sunshine may not survive if I don't look first. So I wait for calmer waters before taking the apple cart across the less chaotic cart crossing. Make sure the donkey goes on the barge before the cart, eh! It's simply being cool about things and situations, like the 'freezing to your clothes' type of attitude, as seen in Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars. If I could master that state of mind, I could be Yoda's replacement. Yoda was also a character from the Star Wars franchise. I could move pyramids. ⏏️ ⏏️ ๐Ÿคช ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿคญ

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Donkey Befoe Cart

Sorry, I'm not a pyramid transporter. The detector-amplifier responder in the Cabot recorder chip, which leads to the master gel pack memory banks of the main computing center in Victoria Harbor, Tay Township, Central Ontario, Canada, Area 52, is experiencing a slight drop in performance every few bytes. Who would have guessed?

That's what I call wishful thinking, anyway. Even if I could, I would not use it to harm anyone, not even the Orange Pus Bag and his Dunce Brigade. I would leave the Judge of All Judges to deal with them on their final judgment day. I wouldn't want to be dressed only in sunglasses, a bikini, and sandals, where I believe they're going. Along with a return ticket to Mar-A-Lago?

Here I am today, feeling well and ready to roll. Roll out the Barrel and we'll have a barrel of fun, tonight, eh!

PS, I was the bookie talking and drinking Baby Duck with the cat ๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿฆณ ๐Ÿบ ๐Ÿ˜นunder the chair ๐Ÿช‘ at the party. "The Blue Jays lost, ๐Ÿ‘… but not really; they made it to the ⚾️ World Series, didn't they? And they made it hard for the Dodgers to win." ๐Ÿฅณ Good work. Now it's back to the Old Hockey Game ๐Ÿ’ party.

Now, Wasn't That A Party?

I believe these three tunes were my three favorite choices for soul and funny bone-lifting music for this year. Don't get me wrong, I have a long list of funny bone songs, old and new, saved on YouTube. In the more modern stand-up comedians, I LOVE STEPHEN COLBERT! He's my hero!

On this day, November 5, 2025, I pray that you may find an island ๐Ÿ of happiness and peace today upon which to rest.

GOOD MORNING, OH CANADA! ELBOWS UP! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ

BREAKING NEWS:

Takeaways from Tuesday’s elections: Democrats win across the spectrum as voters reject Trump

Voters up and down the East Coast delivered Democrats a sweep on Tuesday, electing candidates across the party’s ideological spectrum in a vivid show of discontent with President Donald Trump nearly a year into his second term. In Virginia, moderate former Rep. Abigail Spanberger turned in the strongest Democratic performance in the state’s recent history as she coasted to victory. And in New Jersey, another moderate, Rep. Mikie Sherrill, busted apart the coalition Trump and her Republican rival, former state lawmaker Jack Ciattarelli, had put together to close the Garden State’s gap in recent elections.

In New York City, democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani’s win marked the second time this year he’d defeated former Gov. Andrew Cuomo — first in the Democratic primary, and then in the general election, with Cuomo running as an independent backed by Trump...

Federal budget charts difficult path out of current crisis — with small margin of error

Whether ‘upside’ or ‘downside’ scenario plays out, plan relies on economy keeping its head above water

The 2025 federal budget plots a path for the Canadian economy to emerge from the current crisis. But it also highlights just how deep a hole the economy is in right now and how small the margin for error is as Canada navigates the perils of a trade war. “This budget must be generational in its ambition and serve to shape our economy and our nation’s future,” said Finance Minister Franรงois-Philippe Champagne. “There is no place for withdrawal, ambiguity or even standing still; only for bold and swift action.”

The budget lays out various scenarios for economic growth over the next five years. The so-called upside scenario envisions a world in which U.S. tariffs are rolled back and global trade works its way back to normal...

I believe that's about it for major news in CANADA, for the moment, an air sandwich. It appears to be the same with the US Superior Court, so far, a fart sandwich. ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿฅช Thank you for reading the Tree House News.

Me Asking: - Google Search -

A US fed. gov. fart sandwich: ✨๐ŸŸฐ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿฅช

- Google Search - Responce:

The phrase "fart sandwich" is not a formal or established term used in reference to the U.S. federal government. It is a slang or vulgar insult that is likely used to express strong dissatisfaction, disgust, or contempt for a person, entity, or situation perceived as awful, worthless, or incompetent.

The term appears to be a creative, highly informal insult rather than a recognized political or bureaucratic term. While searches did reveal instances of a federal employee being officially reprimanded for excessive flatulence in the workplace, and research into a "fart spray" non-lethal weapon by the U.S. government, there is no evidence of "fart sandwich" being an established slang term for the government itself.

Common, more established terms used to describe bureaucratic inefficiency or bad government, though not slang, include:

Trump denies inflation is hurting Americans. It’s the same mistake that haunted Biden

“We have no inflation,” President Donald Trump said in his “60 Minutes” interview Sunday evening. “Our groceries are down.”

And with those two false claims, Trump is repeating a political mistake that haunted his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, and contributed to the Democrats losing the White House: Trump appears to be denying the economic reality that people are experiencing in their everyday lives. Whether or not Trump is making a similar political miscalculation remains to be seen. Today’s elections in Virginia, New Jersey and New York City could serve as an indication.

Inflation is far from the crisis levels of the Biden years, but it never went away. And inflation is on the rebound again, rising in September to the highest annual rate since January in part because of the president’s tariffs...

Congress ties record for longest shutdown as bipartisan talks pick up steam

With Congress now tied for its longest-ever shutdown, a small group of fed-up lawmakers in Washington are furiously trying to end the standoff as soon as this week. Those members insist there’s real momentum this time. Yet the potential off-ramp doesn’t appear to deliver Democrats any real win on their biggest demand of the shutdown: health care.

Talks over reopening the government are focused on putting together a funding package and giving Democrats a stand-alone vote to extend expiring subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, according to sources familiar with the high-stakes negotiations. The deal would also include a pathway to move ahead with three bills to fund major agencies of the federal government through next September.

But given that there is no guarantee that an extension of ACA subsidies will pass the Senate – much less the House — it’s unclear whether enough Democrats will accept that proposal to reopen the government, the sources said. So it is bound to prompt sharp division among Democrats about whether a vote is enough after the damaging consequences of the shutdown standoff...

Liberals to table 'big, bold' federal budget Tuesday as Carney looks to put his stamp on government

'This is the kind of budget you will remember,' finance minister says

Finance Minister Franรงois-Philippe Champagne will deliver the new Liberal government’s first budget Tuesday that will be full of what he calls “generational investments” to spur growth and help the country weather the tariff-related economic storm. While Champagne is the minister in charge of the file, Prime Minister Mark Carney, a former central banker, is uniquely interested in financial matters and has personally promised to present a pro-growth budget that will usher Canada into a “new era” and “define our next century.”

“We have the resources to transform our economy from one of reliance to resilience,” Carney told reporters Saturday after a nine-day swing through Asia designed to open up new markets for Canadian goods and services now that the U.S. relationship is on shaky ground.

The Government of Canada is making it easier to trade within Canada.

July 23 2024

NEWS RELEASE:

"Ottawa, Ontario, July 23, 2024 – Today, the Honourable Dominic LeBlanc, Minister of Public Safety, Democratic Institutions and Intergovernmental Affairs, announced that the Government of Canada is removing barriers to help commerce move more freely within Canada.

Over $500 billion worth of goods and services moves across provincial and territorial borders every year—equal to almost 19% of Canada's gross domestic product. Last year, one-third of Canadian businesses participated in internal trade by buying or selling goods across provincial and territorial borders.

The Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) came into force on July 1, 2017, to reduce and eliminate barriers to the free movement of persons, goods, services, and investments within Canada and to establish an open efficient, and stable domestic market.

Under the CFTA, the Government of Canada has taken exceptions to ensure it can uphold Canadian interests such as national security, national economic and social policy, international trade obligations, or its responsibility to support regional interests.

The CFTA seeks to establish an open, efficient, and stable domestic market. *The CFTA exceptions are portions of the agreement that can be taken by federal, provincial or territorial governments, to exclude an industry, sector, or legislation from the agreement. Canadian business and industry have expressed that these exceptions can hinder free trade* by allowing for inconsistent rules, standards, and licensing requirements for goods, investments and services. Leaders, such as the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Business Council of Canada and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, note that reducing the number of exceptions in the CFTA will help strengthen internal trade and support the productivity of Canada’s economy.

The remaining exceptions are required in order to uphold Canadian interests, such as national security, international trade obligations, regional interests, and national social and economic policy. The rationales for remaining federal exceptions are being published on the Government of Canada’s Internal Trade website."

They lied to us again. Is our government truly committed to saving our nation and preserving its independence and freedom?

Well, it is supposed to rain today, and the weatherman appears to be holding to his promise. It's not raining yet, but it's cloudy, grey, cool - not cold, just plain yucky, dull, gloomy, grey day, which I will feel like until after New Year's. I celebrate New Year's more for the fact that daylight is beginning its journey back towards spring than I do the celebration of the New Year. At my age, it only reminds me that I'm one year older than I was at this time last year. ๐Ÿฅณ

For me, it's psychologically a relief once I become conscious of the promise and compensation of spring returning, by way of one minute at a time of more daylight each day.

There was a lot of positive feedback, which was very encouraging. It's very encouraging that Andrew is in favour of the project. The sales figures are very encouraging. Their performance on Saturday was very encouraging.

My Opinion: Encouragement is much like the promise of spring, the rebirth of Love, Empathy, and Equality, and the growth of new enlightenment in our lives.

For me, my longing for spring within me is eased, for as long as I hold onto the hope of spring in my heart, then psychologically, spring begins.

Of course, with the help of the two bright LED lights in the kitchen and dining room, and the two LED floor lamps on full bright in the living room, along with the lights for my Click and Grow garden along the far wall, it helps to repel some of the greyness. Democrats are more enthusiastic about the midterms as Trump’s approval hits a second-term low, CNN poll finds

One year out from the midterm elections, the Democratic Party holds a sizable enthusiasm advantage as views of President Donald Trump dip further into negative territory, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS.

The fall of 2025 is not a replay of 2017, the year before the Democrats captured control of the US House in Trump’s first term. The Democrats’ 5-point advantage among registered voters in the generic congressional ballot falls short of the 11-point edge they held in CNN polling a year before the 2018 midterms. And favorable views of the party still stand near all-time lows as they have throughout this year, 8 points below where they were in the fall of Trump’s first year in office.

In a midterm election year, though, views of the president can outweigh perceptions of the opposition party. Trump’s approval rating in the poll stands at 37%, the worst of his second term in CNN polling and roughly equivalent to his 36% approval rating at this point in his first term. And his disapproval rating, at 63%, is numerically the highest of either term, one point above the previous high of 62% as he was leaving office in January 2021...

Trump spent 90 minutes with ‘60 Minutes’ here’s what happened

President Trump appeared on “60 Minutes” Sunday night, one year after suing the CBS show over the editing of a Kamala Harris interview and he was well aware that his answers would similarly be trimmed for time.

“You don’t have to use that one,” Trump remarked after an awkward exchange with interviewer Norah O’Donnell about crime in Washington, D.C. “You don’t have to put this on, because I don’t wanna embarrass you,” Trump said at another point while praising the new owners of CBS.

The newsmagazine’s producers evidently agreed that those moments weren’t the most newsworthy. CBS News aired about a third of O’Donnell’s sit-down with Trump on TV, and posted most of the rest on YouTube. The network also published the complete transcript of the 90-minute interview online...

Land of Whispering Pines ๐ŸŒฒ

Good morning! May Great Spirit bless ๐Ÿ™

It is back to being another wonderful spring-like day here at the Tree House, with a forecast high in the mid-sixties today. I believe we'll spend most of the day outdoors in my Green Space on the balcony. It's actually supposed to be partly sunny to mostly sunny, with temperatures in the mid-to-high 60s F. Up here on the balcony, with no wind and shielded on one side by a partial wall that breaks up a lot of the western airflow, it's relatively calm. And the reflected sunlight off the brick wall will make it feel more like the low to mid-70s. Bikini time? ๐Ÿ‘™☺️

I would like to take this moment to announce, perhaps a bit too early, that one thing we can be certain of is that this tyrannical regime will also fall, like every other empire has in history, when evil, corruption, and greed for wealth and power take over. I can only pray that we, the People, remain strong during this difficult time and that we stay alive and united in rebuilding our nations. Repairing the mess and learning a lesson from it will be documented and recorded in the annals of history. Personally, I would like to see a passing grade for our efforts. We Stand Together as One in Solidarity and Spirit! You and I are one.

Perhaps I am the only one at this moment, a writer of this life's book of history, and we all play a part in it; you are not alone! We are one, no matter where in the multiverse, wherever there is an intelligent species that thinks, knows, or is aware of what's right from wrong, and makes decisions. In the multiverse, you will no doubt be on the timeline from the Big Bang until now, and what about tomorrow? It is already written, but we still have to do the work to get there. We need to BEGIN WORKING NOW towards what we want in the future.

I know many of you probably find my writings a little too far out. Well, I write whatever the inner writer tells me to write. Until we can overcome the significant obstacle in the road, the Orange Pus Bag will continue to consume time due to its catastrophic effects on America and the world. However, we will eventually reach the post-Trump era. It won't last forever, and not much longer, judging by the way things are going. JUST WATCH THE PATTERN! Which way is the wave moving? I don't need a war map spread out on a table, pushing little toy ships and soldiers around the map in the War Room to know how a contingent plan of action works. YOU can't do that with a bunch of Crooked Sadist Dunce Cadet and Liars willing to kiss the ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿณ️ in charge.

I believe that when we are at liberty to think freely again, we can resume working for the betterment of others. While we wait, I have a blog where you can be entertained or discover many things that you may not be aware of. I have many of them in story form.

Whatever I post on social networks is stored on this blog; in case you wish to review it, the link is included below. Thank you.

Then-House Speaker John Boehner initially said the GOP had “fought the good fight.” But he would later say the plan “never had a chance” and even called the Texas senator “Lucifer in the flesh...

Trade deals and $90 billion in tariff revenue: What’s riding on the landmark Supreme Court case kicking off this week

In just a few days, the Supreme Court will start hearing arguments in what President Donald Trump is calling “one of the most important cases in the history of our country.” With the bulk of his tariffs — arguably the cornerstone of his entire economic agenda — in jeopardy, he has floated an unprecedented appearance at the nation’s highest court.
