I don't know all the legends, which is their history and beliefs. I have found many that were quite intriguing, to say the least, just as plentiful and awe-inspiring as the Greek legends.
DISCUSSION FOR THE DAY:
Native American and European Legends.
I am an *unofficial* student of human evolution. In anthropology, archeology, geology, or any of the sciences that deal with digging up the past, some things are evidently not expected, nor are they native to the same natural state of the surrounding geological strata.
*Strata* is The study of the composition of subsurface rock and dirt, minerals, and fluids layers. It is also a good place to study microscopic life forms that actually live in the polar ice, and as far down as where water reaches boiling point. They are not unlike the tardigrade, but they are much more microscopic in size than the tardigrade, more like a virus size.
What other bugs will turn up as the ice slowly melts away with climate change?
Just letting my imagination wander for a moment and wonder?
Although it might be interesting to explore what was left behind before the ice covered the poles, was there a civilization before the poles froze over? Now, if we survive, we may discover that our very own ancestors were from the stars. 
The only question left now is if this is indeed what transpired. Are we the new Star Seeds on the block?

Inflation hit a bump in October after slowing for six straight months
The annual rate of inflation moved higher last month for the first time since March, as expected — but economists say the underlying trend remains favorable for another round of interest rate cuts.
Consumer prices rose 0.2% last month and were up 2.6% from the year before, according to the latest Consumer Price Index data released Wednesday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Housing-related inflation accounted for half of the monthly rise, and energy prices were flat after dragging down the overall index for four of the past six months

U.S. president-elect Donald Trump's border czar says there is an "extreme national security vulnerability" along the Canada-U.S. border that he plans to deal with the moment the new Republican administration takes power.
Tom Homan, named Sunday as the official in charge of all U.S. border issues, said in a television interview that he expects there will be "tough conversations" with Ottawa about the situation along the Canada-U.S. border.
