Good morning, everyone! At least there was only a dusting of snow to sweep off my green space this morning. But I should know better than to think I would have a nicely coordinated and efficient morning. It started that way until the zipper in my coat got stuck. I had to pull the coat off over my head, then dig out another coat to go out on the balcony and try to get that white stuff cleaned up without further ado from butt fingers.
Well, at least it has stopped snowing for the moment. According to Accuweather, it is supposed to get above freezing in the next few days but still not showing much promise for the sun. I forgot what it looks like except for the hand-drawn picture of the sun that I stuck in the living room window about three weeks ago and never took it down. This weather ain't no better than the Lower Mainland of BC with all their sh-t rain and snow.

My Truth is:
CANADA appears to be hurting more under the surface than it is letting on to us, the people. However, we will have a chance to survive this if the European Union decides to hold hands politically and in trade with Canada, and Canada hangs on tight for the ride. We also need to pay our way with NATO, at least 2% of our GDP. Canada also has to learn to diversify its export products, open its markets to new imports, and eliminate trade barriers among its provinces.
I am not planning on moving again, especially not south of the border, where an *ORANGE PUKE BAG SCHITZOPHRENIC PSYCOPATH* is running the country. I have more respect for dew worms and other creepy crawlers. *I mean this from the bottom of my heart!* I love dew worms and creepy crawlers better than that orange cockroach; at least I can use them to go fishing, and they don't complain about it.
Your kingship cockroach will eat your food; at least a dew worm is helpful; they aerate the land for growing crops and don't expect to be paid for their services, and a deworm will wiggle harmlessly in your hand. I did say a dew worm, not a rattlesnake. Rattlesnakes may be sneaky, but at least they give a warning before striking; this rattlesnake just strikes out of nowhere like the viper snake in the grass he is. *MAY G-d BLESS US ALL and protect us from The Orange Puke Bag! Senate Republicans took a major step to advance President Donald Trump’s sweeping agenda early Friday morning,
voting to adopt a budget blueprint that sets up a clash with House Republicans, who have put forward a competing plan.
The final vote came after a rare overnight work session for the Senate that started Thursday evening and stretched into the early hours of the next day, wrapping up close to 5 am ET on Friday after lasting just short of ten hours. The final tally was 52 to 48, with GOP Sen. Rand Paul joining Democrats to oppose the resolution.
During the late-night session known as a “vote-a-rama,” Democrats attempted to force tough votes for Republicans over a slate of contentious issues, including the war in Ukraine, Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, known as DOGE, and protecting Medicare and Medicaid from cuts as Republicans seek to enact Trump’s legislative priorities.

Canadians who recently traveled to Mexico are calling on local authorities to investigate after dozens of guests got sick at this all-inclusive beachside resort.
Winnipeg wedding photographer Joel Boily and another guest estimated that around 200 Canadian guests staying at Sandos Playacar — a four-star resort in Playa del Carmen on the country's Caribbean coast — all suffered this past week from bouts of illness.

ReplyDeleteAt least it wasn't denim stuck in the zipper and it came out easily. I gather that the rest of the day moved well.
I don't know if it's the total snowfall that's been as much of a problem as the number days that it's snowed and the number of days without sunshine. Both are the negative side of our environmental equation in Southern Ontario as I see it. On the positive side, all of this precipitation should prevent a winter drought.
For as long as I can recall, an ill wind precedes trump. He is a native New Yorker who is universally disliked there. He is an oft-proven liar. He is a cruel psychopath. Unless you love all things dark and negative, he's good for nothing. I agree with Cindy. 'nuff said.
I hesitate to go anywhere that has suspect drinking water.
