Land of The Whispering Pines
Good morning, everyone! I pray that you all be well, at peace, provided for, and be blessed馃檹 馃寘
It is a little cool out, but it is a spectacular sunrise, or it was when I was typing this part of my Newsroom report at about 7:50 this morning.
The sunrise coming over the top of the trees, the kind you see on postcards, gives you a warm feeling inside. I guess I'm a warm-weather and sun person; actually, maybe I should have been a lizard. From the age, I learned to walk, and even now, I enjoy being out in the sun.
During the summer, I was outside, barefoot, wearing a bikini top and shorts or a bathing suit. I was in the sun all day, whenever I had a chance to be outside, either working in the yard or lying on the beach at the lake. When we were kids, my sister had a nickname for me: The Lizard.馃
On the res, they called me the Red Woman or the Wrapaho because I wrapped myself in a blanket when I was cold. It might be nice to sit around a campfire drinking a little of the white man's fire water until my fingers and toes began to turn blue, so out came the blanket.
Well, enough of that. Now, let's move on to the discussion of the day.
DAILY DISCUSSION:
Insanity In Psychology?
- Google Search -
*Psychopathic tendencies* are characterized by a range of behaviors, including a lack of empathy, remorse, and guilt, coupled with manipulative and impulsive actions and a disregard for social norms.
Term *"psychopathic tendencies" and "insanity"* are often used in popular culture, it's important to understand that they are not interchangeable in a clinical or legal context. Psychopathy is a personality disorder characterized by traits like lack of empathy and remorse, while "insanity" is a legal term referring to a mental state that prevents someone from understanding the nature and consequences of their actions.
*What Is Insanity In Psychology?*
Insanity. mental illness of such a severe nature that a person cannot distinguish fantasy from reality, cannot conduct her/his affairs due to psychosis, or is subject to uncontrollable impulsive behavior. Insanity is distinguished from low intelligence or mental deficiency due to age or injury.
You only need some general knowledge in psychopathy or psychology to research it for yourself. I rest my case:

B.C. city buys health clinic to help community retain and recruit new doctors
Dawson Creek looks at team care to serve the needs of the community
he Cure is a -CBC News- series examining strategies provinces and territories are using to tackle the primary care crisis.
A group of doctors in British Columbia's northeast, with the help of city council, has saved a clinic from closure — and now has its sights set on bringing team-based care to a region where many people are without a family doctor.
In July 2024, Dawson Creek, a city of about 12,000 near the B.C.-Alberta border, purchased the Eljen Medical Clinic.
Mayor Darcy Dober said when the owner of the clinic put it up for sale, local physicians worried about the community's loss of medical care.
"They also had a vision for a Primary Care Network," he said.
The South Peace Division of Family Practice, a community-based group of family doctors that serves Dawson Creek and the nearby communities of Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge, proposed the city purchase the clinic at a time when much of the province — but especially northern and rural communities — were dealing with years-long shortages of health-care staff...

Me detengo:

ReplyDeleteGreetings, Everyone! Thank you for visiting.
I've been with Cindy for more than 20 years. She's been a Wrapaho since we met.
Time has changed us. She is more affected by the cold than she was years ago, and I am beginning to feel cold indoors at temperatures that didn't feel cold two years ago. I don't complain about aging because fighting time is a losing fight, so I have as much fun being a senior citizen or an old crow as possible. Yes, aging is a pain in the ass and many other places, but laughing about it makes it easier to handle.

Insanity is a current topic, or at least something worth discussing.
I wonder how and why so many things are happening today. Conversely, many people who have the power to change what's happening aren't taking action. They seem afraid to exercise their power and instead allow a leader who might be insane to do as he pleases.
Considering insanity as being out of touch with reality as a guide, how can a leader to whom so much power has been ceded thrive on chaos instead of spreading order and predictability? How can a sane leader expect the world to respect and accept his ways when all he offers is a mercurial temper, assumes no responsibility for his actions or inactions, blames others for his errors, and exhibits a persecution complex daily? If this person shit their pants the blame would go elsewhere and every psychological shield available would be on display instead of a simple "Excuse me for a few minutes."
I doubt threats to annex sovereign nations are manifestations of sanity any more than shirking responsibility for everything, causing chaos and uncertainty, behaving like a fourth-grade schoolyard bully at his age, and hiding his inadequacies and those of his cabinet behind deflections are reasons for me to suspect his sanity.
North and South Carolina are dealing with wildfires after Hurricane Helene's devastation in 2024. The government won't help after firing forest firefighters from the U.S. Forest Service and gutting FEMA because the "stable genius" (his self-description) said the individual states can handle disasters themselves. Good luck with that!
Kudos to Dawson Creek, BC, for devising a way to attract a physician to a small city on the British Columbia-Alberta border. Finding a doctor to operate a clinic in an out-of-the-way place can be challenging, and the people of Dawson Creek rose to the challenge.
Thank you!
Reply, The Fairy Lady:
Paula Koval I pray that the Dawson Creek Clinic will turn out to be a good working experiment and encourage other places to do the same. There are lots of empty clinics all over Ontario that have been closed down because of a lack of funding. I guess they expect people to stop getting sick.
North Carolina especially saddens me. I spent some time in the mountains there in Asheville. A beautiful little tourist town, I believe, was wiped out by a hurricane last year.
If the fat orange turnip may not have been insane in the beginning, just somewhat psychopathic, but now I believe he's crossed the line into insanity. The people elected a madman. Now, it's up to the people to put the mother trucker in an insane asylum.
That is all I have to add to that.
