🌅🙏Good morning, everyone! I pray that you all be well, at peace, provided for, and be blessed🙏 🌅

It was another grey day and got me artificial suns on. I got all the lights we have in this place lit up. I just can't handle all that greyness. Too much of it makes me drained, feeling dopy, brain fog. Thank you, G-d. Suppose it weren't for the bright LED lights they have nowadays, as well as my laptop and big screen monitor, I would be a well-advanced candidate for the loony bin by now. I am not even sure if I should even want to raise my hopes of seeing a summer this year. I take it as it comes, I suppose.

The good thing is I have the entire summer to look after my personal needs. No doctor appointments are getting in the way until fall. G-d knows those Doctors have their hands complete; I am more than pleased to let them take care of other people who need their care. I am happy to be among the normal again, see a doctor when I'm sick, and I ain't ill.

At least it's warm inside, and with the bright lights as I type and sip on my coffee, which seems to taste more exquisit than most other days for some reason. Coffee in hand as I pause from my typing. It makes me feel like I am sitting in a room full of sunlight.

The Bad News of the day is: Another one of our brilliant men of science has left us for a better place; I pray he will be honored among other people of science in the annals of history, along with the most recently deceased Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, Issac Asimov, and Arthur C. Clarke, et al.

Jeremiah P. Ostriker: The astrophysicist Jeremiah P. Ostriker, who helped revolutionize our understanding of the universe, passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 87.

Jeremiah Ostriker was distinguished for contributions to any topics in astrophysics, including pulsars and black holes, cosmic rays, and now galaxies and quasars form and evolve. He was amongst the first to show that the observed form of galaxies suggests they have a halo of dark matter thought to make up most of the mass of the Universe.

Jeremiah was a leader in the area of computer-based numerical representations of galactic and cosmological phenomena. Later, he used the data from the NASA Wilkenson Microwave Anisotropy Probe at the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) to determine values of parameters in the current standard model of cosmology, which, with Paul Steinhardt and others, he was among the first to propose and codify. After markets plunged over the course of the past three trading sessions, Wall Street investors were looking for any excuse to catch their breath ahead of another planned tariff escalation at midnight.

They seem to have found one — at least for now.

Trump will prioritize Japan and South Korea for tariff negotiations, official says White House National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett said the administration is managing "a massive number of requests for negotiations" from nations to avoid having "reciprocal" tariffs levied on them starting at 12:01 a.m. ET. Wednesday.

Hassett added that Trump "prioritizes two of our closest allies and trading partners: Japan and Korea," he said in a Tuesday morning Fox News interview. "The word out of those conversations was really positive."

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump posted on Truth Social that he had "a great call with the Acting President of South Korea." On Monday, Trump also spoke with Japan's Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba, who will be sending a team to visit Washington to negotiate a trade deal.

When Rick Hall discovered most of his life savings had been drained from his bank account, he suspected he had been hacked.

The first clue came when his password didn't work. Then, once he regained access, he saw that on Feb. 17 a total of $28,710 had been transferred to an unknown credit card account.

Migrants who were temporarily allowed to live in the United States by using an online appointment app have been told to leave the country "immediately," officials said Monday. It was unclear how many beneficiaries would be affected.

More than 900,000 people were allowed in the country using the CBP One app since January 2023. Era otro día gris y me tocó encender soles artificiales. Encendí todas las luces que tenemos aquí. Simplemente no soporto tanta grisura. Demasiada me deja agotada, atontada, con la mente nublada. Gracias, Dios. Si no fuera por las brillantes luces LED que tienen ahora, además de mi portátil y mi monitor de pantalla grande, ya sería una candidata ideal para el manicomio. Ni siquiera estoy segura de si debería hacerme ilusiones de ver verano este año. Supongo que lo tomo como viene.

Lo bueno es que tengo todo el verano para atender mis necesidades personales. No habrá citas médicas que me impidan hacerlo hasta el otoño. Dios sabe que esos médicos tienen todo lo que necesitan; Me complace enormemente dejar que cuiden de otras personas que necesitan su atención. Me alegra volver a la normalidad, ver a un médico cuando estoy enfermo, y no estarlo.

Al menos hace calor dentro, y con las luces brillantes mientras escribo y tomo mi café, que por alguna razón parece tener un sabor más exquisito que la mayoría de los días. Café en mano mientras hago una pausa en mi escritura. Me hace sentir como si estuviera sentado en una habitación llena de luz solar.
