ESA Backs UK’s Pulsar Fusion as Demand Grows for Next-Gen Space Propulsion

A major step forward for the UK’s space ambitions is underway as Bletchley-based Pulsar Fusion secures an 18-month European Space Agency contract to accelerate work on its Hall-Effect Thruster. The plasma-based propulsion system, which ionises gas to drive spacecraft, is becoming a key technology for future space missions.

The ESA award, part-funded by the UK Space Agency, brings Pulsar into Europe’s in-orbit mobility supply chain at a time when sovereignty over propulsion capabilities is becoming increasingly important. It also strengthens the UK’s growing influence in Europe’s space propulsion sector.

TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Here it is, 1:45 am. I wasn't tired or ill, for a change. I have been taking two capsules of ginger at lunch and supper per day, and an extra one if needed throughout the day, "YEP!" just plain old ginger, and it seems to be keeping the nausea at bay. I actually feel normal if this is what they call normal, I feel as cosy as the proverbial bug in a fur rug, comfy! I do hope the bug doesn't get stepped on and squished!

I could really appreciate and love this feeling *nothing*. I am sitting here reclined on the couch with my laptop ready to do some brainstorming. If I can't sleep, I may as well take my prefrontal cortex out for a walk. Outside of my health status report, there isn't much else going on here at the Newsroom this morning, except that we will be getting less chilly weather for the next few days, 64° F, and the for this Friday morning on The Niagara Peninsula.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Trust and Faith

- Google Search -

Trust and Faith

Faith is the intellectual belief in something or someone, while trust is the action of relying on that belief. Faith is believing a tightrope walker can cross a rope, but trust is actually getting in the wheelbarrow they're offering to push across the rope. Faith is the conviction, while trust is the emotional and physical act of surrender to that conviction.

My Experience of Losing Trust and Faith

Many lose their faith and trust during hard times. I know, I was there, and I was a social worker for twenty years, now retired. Bad life situations, like death in the family, getting fleeced, losing the house, the spouse, the kids, the family dog biting you on the ankle on the way out, even the house mouse packed and headed south. Then you feel alone and defeated, like a whipped puppy dog. All you have left is the clothes you're wearing, a case of beer at your feet, sitting on a bed in a motel room. You throw your arms up in the air and say, "What the hell is the sense!" Might as well drink another one, "Cheers!"

Been there, done that.

- Google Search -

Losing Trust and Faith

Losing trust and faith due to failures is a common human experience that can lead to disappointment and fear. However, failures can also serve as opportunities for growth, resilience, and developing deeper trust if approached with the right perspective.

Strategies to Rebuild Trust and Faith After Failures

Acknowledge and Process Emotions: Allow yourself to feel the disappointment and grief associated with the failure.

Acknowledging these emotions is the first step toward healing and prevents them from defining you.

Acknowledge and Process of Emotions: I used to call this part Bleeding Out The Poison. You need to feel it, then release it before you can even anticipate healing from it. This process can be done by taking an inventory, making amends, and/or corrections wherever you can, then moving on and never looking back.

Belief vs. Faith

Belief: The mental acceptance that something is true. It's the foundation, like a seed.

Faith: The active, practical demonstration of that belief. It is what grows from the "seed" of belief and involves trusting and acting as if it is true.

TODAY'S PRAYER

Let us all take a moment for prayer and meditation for the people of America. Great Spirit, be with them, guide them to do what's right and just, and protect the Earth Angel Warrior from harm and defeat. There are many ways to be a warrior; it's called resistance. You can do it from your kitchen table or from the front line at a congregational gathering. Empaths, or Earth Angels, are warriors. Pray for the body and soul of the warriors to remain strong and united, together as one mind, one soul, moving in unison, as one entity.

AMEN!

FDA intends to put its most serious warning on Covid vaccines, sources say

The US Food and Drug Administration intends to put a “black box” warning on Covid-19 vaccines, according to two people familiar with the agency’s plans, the latest move by President Donald Trump’s health officials to undermine a vaccine that was a standout victory of his first term. The plan shocked outside experts, who said there was no basis for the warning...

A boxed warning, which appears at the top of prescribing information for medicines, is the agency's most serious, designed to warn about risks such as death or life-threatening or disabling reactions that should be weighed against the intervention's benefits. They can also be used when a risk might be lowered by using a medicine in a targeted way, such as only in certain groups.

Boxed warnings on opioids, for example, warn about risks of abuse, addiction, overdose, and death. The acne medication Accutane carried a warning about the risks of birth defects when used during pregnancy. ACAM2000, a smallpox and mpox vaccine, has a warning about complications such as heart inflammation and encephalitis...

Navy delivers report to Hegseth on potential of punishment for Sen. Mark Kelly over ‘illegal orders’ video

The US Navy has submitted its recommendations on potential punishments, if any, for Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly over his participation in a video that reminded US troops they have a duty to refuse illegal orders, a Pentagon official told CNN on Thursday.

Those recommendations have been submitted to the Pentagon’s Office of General Counsel, “where they are providing a legal review and input,” the official said. It was not immediately clear what recommendations were included in the report.

A spokesperson for Kelly told CNN in a statement that the senator was “never notified or contacted” about the Navy secretary delivering a report at Hegseth’s request and reiterated he will not be intimidated by the Defense Secretary [Pete Hegseth] or President Donald Trump...

House Democrats release photos of Trump, Clinton and Andrew from Epstein's estate

Democrats pledge to continue to release photos in days and weeks ahead

U.S. House Democrats released a selection of photos from the estate of Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, including some of Donald Trump, Bill Clinton and the former Prince Andrew.

The 19 photos released by Democratic lawmakers on the House oversight committee were a small part of more than 95,000 they received from the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York jail cell in 2019 while awaiting sex trafficking charges. The photos released Friday were separate from the case files that the Department of Justice is now compelled to release.

The photos were released without captions or context and included a black-and-white image of Trump alongside six women whose faces were blacked out. The committee did not say why their faces were blacked out...

TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Another one of those sleepless nights. I came out to the couch and got my laptop and commenced to do some research on a couple of things I meant to look up yesterday, but I just was not in any shape to do much except to nap away most of the afternoon and still felt like 💩 The good thing is, I don't need to leave the house to go anywhere for a couple of months. I pray for healing time. 🙏

I went to see the dentist yesterday, and everything was fine as far as the extracted teeth go, healing well. I mentioned the nausea to him, and he suggested Gravol. So now I'm taking Gravol; at least I get some relief from the nausea for a while.

A few days ago, I brought up the topic of What Was Before The Big Bang. I happened across a video of Michio Kaku that explains this quite eloquently, better than I could.

I wonder how long a person can drag themselves around with nausea and not eating? I have an appointment with my gastroenterologist on the 18th. Maybe I can get some answers then 🙏 🤞 If I'm not better tomorrow, I may take a couple of days to rest. If I do, I will drop a note to let everyone know.

I believe that is all I have to report from the Newsroom for this morning. Thank you for reading the Tree House News.

For today, I thought I would put the Kick Arse Boots away and find something a little more useful to do today besides kicking TRUMPO THE TYPO in the shinbones.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

"The God Equation"

2 Hours of MICHIO KAKU Explaining the Existence of God

Join renowned physicist Michio Kaku on an extraordinary 2-hour journey into the deepest mysteries of existence. In this comprehensive exploration, Professor Kaku reveals how string theory and the quest for the "God Equation" might unlock the universe's ultimate secrets.

Discover how Einstein's unfinished dream of unifying all forces of nature is now closer to reality than ever. Learn about the 10 dimensions predicted by string theory, the possibility of parallel universes, and what the mathematics of reality tells us about the mind of God.

From the Big Bang to black holes, from quantum mechanics to consciousness itself, this deep dive covers:

The God Equation and what it means for existence

String Theory's revolutionary insights into reality

Extra dimensions and the fabric of space-time

The multiverse and parallel universes

Black holes, wormholes, and time travel possibilities

What physics reveals about consciousness and meaning

The future of humanity and advanced civilizations

Why the universe is mathematically beautiful

Whether you're a science enthusiast or simply curious about life's biggest questions, Professor Kaku's clear explanations and infectious enthusiasm make complex physics accessible and profoundly meaningful.

This isn't just physics—it's philosophy, meaning, and wonder wrapped in the language of mathematics.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvJRsSGazhM

Consciousness: Where does a thought come from? Where did the thought come from before it began its journey from the cerebral cortex through the synapses to the conscious mind, which is then formed into the spoken word? The time from thought to actually speaking the word is only a split second. But the thought's birth was instantaneous.

Do we have a pail full of the alphabet, and there's a little person up there picking out the letters from the pail to make the word? 😂That goes well with the old guy with the beard in the clouds.🤣

Pentagon did not conduct routine investigation on whether Hegseth damaged national security by sharing strike plans on Signal

The Pentagon did not conduct a routine investigation into the impact of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s disclosure of sensitive military information in a group chat on Signal earlier this year and whether it damaged national security – in part because Hegseth never authorized it, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter.

A classification review and damage assessment would typically be initiated following any unauthorized disclosure of sensitive defense information, in part, to examine whether sources and methods or ongoing US military and intelligence operations have been compromised in a way that would require mitigation.

Hegseth did not order an assessment, two former senior officials who were working at the Pentagon at the time and a current US official with knowledge of the situation said.

After the Signal messages came to light, Hegseth, instead turned his attention inward and focused on formally investigating suspected leakers on his own staff, even threatening to polygraph defense officials he believed were disclosing potentially embarrassing details about him, multiple current and former officials said. Those threats had a “chilling effect” among DoD officials who became increasingly wary of doing anything that could be perceived by Hegseth as an attempt to undercut him, according to those officials...

A divided GOP forges ahead on health care message — without plan to address spiking premiums

Congressional Republicans are taking a major political gamble this week, laying out a GOP health care agenda that ignores the soon-to-expire enhanced subsidies that help tens of millions of Americans afford Obamacare — despite pleas from some in their own party.

Top Republicans didn’t come to the decision easily. As recently as last week, it wasn’t clear whether GOP leaders in either chamber would offer their own health care plans alongside a high-profile Democratic push to extend those Covid-era Obamacare subsidies. There are plenty of frustrated rank-and-file members still trying to convince Republican leaders to change course and offer a short-term fix for the subsidies. Multiple battleground Republicans are plotting how they can intervene, including lobbying President Donald Trump directly or potentially going around their own leadership to force a vote on extending the subsidies, multiple sources told CNN.

While they say Obamacare is rife with problems, they insist Republicans can’t simply allow huge premium hikes for millions of people – especially in an election year. Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, a centrist from New York, said her next step is to “appeal to the White House.”...

Family physicians reach agreement in principle with Quebec over Bill 2

Deal would 'halt the disengagement and departure of Quebec family doctors,' FMOQ says

Quebec family doctors have struck a tentative agreement with the province, only weeks before the implementation of controversial reforms that threatened clinic closures and the departure of GPs to other provinces.

The Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec (FMOQ) announced the tentative deal Thursday morning. The two sides have been at odds for months over Bill 2, legislation that ties doctors' pay to collective performance targets. Hundreds of doctors have applied for a licence in Ontario in recent months, while many family medicine clinics across Quebec have said they would be forced to shut down next year.

In a statement, the FMOQ thanked Premier François Legault for stepping in to spark a negotiating blitz, in order "to halt the disengagement and departure of Quebec family doctors, and to increase Quebecers' access to family medicine. "...

TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

It's a mild, wet morning here on the Niagara Peninsula; 🗾 it will undoubtedly be an LED 💡artificial sunlight day. With the Christmas tree all lit up 🎄 at least it makes the place look warm, bright, welcoming, and cheery; no gloom-pusses in this house!

Now my Green Space looks greener and more tropical, with rainwater droplets dripping from the plants. Our landlord and friend, Rick, was up here yesterday fixing a door, where I heard him talking to my partner about my Green Space. He called it "the little paradise."

I am certainly looking forward to being active again and not this sack 💩 🤢 🤮 in pain, taking up space on the couch 🛋️. I keep praying, and I keep hurting; either G-d is deaf, or he forgot to take out his earbuds 🎧

I always did my best, no matter how many faceplants I made doing so, and there were times when I succeeded. Failing taught me that when you take on a project, you do what you know best. These groups are what I know best, that which keeps my crank cranking for now. You do what you do best. An old, retired social worker can't just stop working, especially if they care for people. Do what you know best and what makes you feel fulfilled.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tfR6kW61Oks

Do what you do, do well, eh, and that's the best ya kins do gals and boys. It does the heart good to listen to a good, uplifting, sunshiny tune in the early morning. Try it, get into it while doing your morning duties, and turn up the noise box! Good for chasing away all of the coming days' ghosts. Just put one foot ahead of the other, dance around the room a couple of times, hum along with the music, and keep on a truckin'!

If I could only feel good again, I would get down on my knees in reverence and kiss the ground, Mother Gaia. I don't think anyone who hasn't suffered anything worse than a headache or a sore thumb from hitting it with a hammer has any idea what excruciating pain is. Being healthy and pain-free, I don't think that person would have any idea what suffering is about, especially when it's constant. Not knowing if you're going to spray lunch is not fun. IT SUCKS.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Doing What You Do Best

That's what we all have to do, isn't it? Apply this maxim to your personal resistance. You can resist by putting your best foot forward, fighting for what's right. Sharing and informing others for the sake of saving them, We, the People, here on the web, or among those you meet as you go about your day. I am retired from social work. Being a social worker is about helping other people because you care for them, a deep caring as though they were part of you. If you don't feel this within you, you're in the wrong job.

A social worker helps individuals, families, and communities address life's challenges, improve well-being, and access resources by providing counselling, therapy, and advocacy for social justice, working in diverse settings like hospitals, schools, and agencies to tackle issues from poverty to racism and domestic violence. Eileen Higgins will win the Miami mayor's race, -CNN- projects, breaking a nearly 30-year GOP hold

Eileen Higgins will be the next mayor of the city of Miami, according to a projection from -CNN's- Decision Desk, breaking a nearly 30-year Republican streak in holding the nonpartisan seat and giving Democrats another example of strong performance in elections during the first year of President Donald Trump's second term.

She won Tuesday's runoff after leading the first round of voting on November 4 with 35% of the vote to Gonzalez's 19% Democrats are already riding a wave of momentum after a dominant performance in November's off-year elections and over-performing their 2024 results in Tennessee's 7th Congressional District, shrinking a 22-point 2024 margin to single digits in a special election last week...

Battleground Republicans clash with hard-liners over Obamacare subsidies as party talks health care strategy

A number of endangered GOP lawmakers on Wednesday privately pressed Republican leaders to address expiring Covid-era health care subsidies — but faced sharp pushback from the right flank of their party.

And House Republican leaders remained adamant that they did not support a short-term fix, making it increasingly likely that the GOP-led Congress will allow the enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies to expire at year’s end. Inside a packed meeting of House Republicans, multiple battleground Republicans, including Rep. Kevin Kiley of California, called on Speaker Mike Johnson to put a bill on the floor that would extend the expiring subsidies for more than 20 million Americans. He argued that it needed to take priority over leadership’s other, longer-term health care plans that are expected to come to the floor next week.

GOP leaders are eying smaller-scale measures, such as expanding HSA accounts and expanding cost-sharing reduction — a way that helps offset costs for lower-income people by requiring insurers to pay more...

Trump’s point man on trade floats separate deals with Canada and Mexico

'Our economic relationship with Canada is very, very different,' says U.S. trade rep Jamieson Greer

U.S. President Donald Trump’s lead trade negotiator says the administration is considering breaking up the three-way free trade agreement with Canada and Mexico, moving toward separate deals instead.

U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer said Wednesday that the Trump administration is keeping all options on the table for the future of the Canada-U.S.-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) as it comes up for renewal in 2026.

But Greer, who plays a key role in all trade negotiations, including the looming review of CUSMA, is laying out a strong case for separate bilateral deals with the country’s northern and southern neighbours — a move that would end 30 years of North America having a unified free trade agreement...

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Here it is Tuesday morning coming down, 🌅 and all is well here on the Niagara Peninsula. 🗾 The sun is shining 🌤️ and it's 26°F, but not for long; they're calling for some nasty weather later this afternoon, windy and 3 inches of snow. Tomorrow, it's 41°F and raining, that's the norm here, we get a dumping of snow and a few days later it melts. Fluctuating between 23°F and 41°F, it is about the best climate one can find in Canada outside of the Okanogan Valley in BC. The Okanogan would have been my second choice to live in. Still, when we had the opportunity to move back to Ontario, we chose the Niagara Peninsula area, grape country, the best place in Ontario.

I didn't get out of bed this morning until 8:00 am, on purpose, to shorten my misery while I'm sleeping, so I nap every chance I get, the great escape 👅 This stomach stuff has to go or I will. Well, that's about all I have to report from the Newsroom for this morning. Thank you for reading the news.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Investigations launched after more unexplained drone sightings off two European coasts

Investigations are underway in Ireland and France after two more incidents this week involving unidentified drones flying close to the coastlines of each country.

On Monday night, several drones were seen flying off the coast of Dublin, just as the plane carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was about to land ahead of his first official visit to Ireland. On Thursday night, several drones flew close to a French naval base on the Atlantic coast housing nuclear ballistic missile submarines, French prosecutors told local media.

The two incidents are the latest in a string of unexplained sightings in several European countries since September. Some drones have disrupted civilian air traffic, while others have flown close to airbases and other military facilities.

European officials have said that they believe Russia is behind at least some of the incidents, but no drone has been retrieved or shot down....

Dec 6, 2025

PUBLISHED Dec 6, 2025, 11:13 am ET

It's happened before, one was shot down; NATO forces shot down Russian drones over Poland Sept. 10, responding to an incursion at a scale unprecedented since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian drones were also found in Sweden and Romania. If this is not PROVOCATION FOR WAR, then what is?

I am just guessing, but my feelings are based on a gut hunch about what is going on. I do that sometimes, like on 9/11, I knew or felt that there was some kind of disaster going to take place, I felt it inside me. It was the night before the Twin Towers disaster, 24 hrs before it took place. I'm the one who wrote in large letters on Yahoo groups, "G-d Save America!"

And on several other occasions, I have recorded in my Blog, for later reference's sake, which I have shared with my partner, I am sometimes treated to visions or premonitions. I'm an empath, "I can feel the texture of the fluffy hairs on a moth's antennae."

That cockroach Putin the Puddin' is edging for nuclear war, and nutcasses like that don't care; they have no ethics, empathy, or value for anything; he will not have any restraints or qualms about tossing bombs at whoever he wants or feels like.

That was why yesterday 🌅 <- 🌄 I mentioned a comprehensive strike may be the only answer, get as many as we can in one shot, 💥 if that's the only way to scatter cockroaches 🪳 🪳 🪳 and hope that when it's done, there's still enough world left to live on. 🏜️ THAT'S ALL THAT TURTLE SHIT FOR BRAINS WILL LISTEN TO. The turtle shit 🐢 💩 Putin and his arse kissing buddy Trumpo The Typo 🚯

TREE HOUSE NEWS

I started this news group especially to inform and point out what may not be so apparent to the reader of the news. I only share my own opinions, which, like any other, can be argued. Draw your own conclusion, neg. or pos.

There is so much I would like to share if my stomach would only go back to operating normally. As it is, I honestly don't know where everything is going right now; I'm all twisted up inside, like a pit of snakes, with little respite. But I am thankful I have this group to keep me concentrated on something else; it helps to lessen or distract me from the discomfort. How would you like a 24 - 7 hangover without the alcohol consumption?

We’re in a ‘windchill’ economy, where things feel worse than they are

New York — Most Americans agree: *This economy stinks.

Practically every consumer sentiment survey and political poll points to that theme. People feel like their dollars aren’t stretching as far as before, and the cost of living is rising beyond their means.

  • Paycheck gains are shrinking as inflation heats up again:
  • The pandemic screwed with our collective psychology. Americans got a brief taste of financial security that very rapidly eroded during the inflation crisis:

  • And wealthier Americans are skewing the data:
  • So this is the windchill economy: It feels worse than it actually is. For many Americans, it’s deeply unpleasant:

  • The goalposts keep moving:
  • Not all prices are created equal:
  • The K-shaped economy:

Liberals to vote against Poilievre's pipeline motion, calling it 'immature' and an 'insult'

Conservative motion designed to force Liberals to vote on pipeline to Pacific

The Liberal government will vote against Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre's motion Tuesday calling for a new oil pipeline to the Pacific — but ministers insisted it doesn't mean Ottawa has given up on the memorandum of understanding signed with Alberta last month.

Poilievre's motion, which lifts some of the language included in that agreement brokered between Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, calls for MPs to back at least one pipeline that moves a million barrels of Alberta bitumen to the coast for export to Asia. The Conservatives brought forward this non-binding motion to show divisions in the Liberal caucus on the issue — a divide the party says puts the possibility of a pipeline at risk...
