Hi everyone, I am back again to resume The Tree House News. I am still feeling a little weak but doing better each day. This morning, after I had my cereal, "Hey!" Look at me, eating cereal in the morning and liking it! And another thing, after that stay in the hospital, I have been so thirsty I am tempted to wrap my lips around anything that looks like liquid.
It is again a beautiful sunny morning with a bird or two tweeting in the trees across the way. Paula was up before me, which was unusual, but I looked out at the green space on the balcony where the early rising sun was shining. When we were both out in my green space, I lifted my arms in the air and shouted out loud; GOOD MORNING, AMERICA, from the tip of South America to its most northerly point. Now, I say it for the WHOLE WORLD with love and peace for all.
LET US NOT FORGET to pray, donate supplies, and your time in every manner you can to aid those stricken by war, and that is next to impossible to do until the idiots with guns put their guns away. If you have a place or position of influence in this mess, please do your part by pushing whatever button you have at hand to do so.
Strategic commands can be birthed from the bottom up.
I tried to join the army when I was in my early twenties but didn't fit the bill; they had a size limit back then. If I were twenty years younger, I would not hesitate to serve time in strategic command.
But as it is, I did the next best with my life serving the people as a social worker. That's about all for me for now. Now, to quickly check out the breaking news of the day.

‘It’s the First Amendment, stupid’: Federal judge blasts DeSantis administration for threats against TV stations
“To keep it simple for the State of Florida: it’s the First Amendment, stupid.”
That’s what a federal judge wrote Thursday as he sided with local TV stations in an extraordinary dispute over a pro-abortion rights television ad.
Chief U.S. District Judge Mark E. Walker of the Northern District of Florida granted a temporary restraining order against Florida’s surgeon general after the state health department threatened to bring criminal charges against broadcasters airing the ad.

Beloved piano teacher's death sparks call for better drug monitoring in hospitals
Timing a medication level properly can be vital.
Wendy Guimont's tumour didn't kill her. But a cascade of errors tipped the scales.
The beloved piano teacher inspired and trained music instructors for children across Canada. A go-getter who loved to hike, bike and golf, the Cranbrook, B.C., resident and her husband jumped at the chance to drive an RV to Arizona.
While in the U.S., back pain Guimont had initially brushed off worsened. On Valentine's Day in 2021, she learned she had metastatic pancreatic cancer. Remarkably, her family says, she gained weight and strength while on chemotherapy. Then, on July 8, 2023, she died.

Paula se levantó antes que yo, lo cual era inusual, pero miré hacia el espacio verde en el balcón donde brillaba el sol naciente. Cuando ambos estábamos afuera en mi espacio verde, levanté mis brazos en el aire y grité en voz alta: BUENOS DÍAS, AMÉRICA, desde la punta de América del Sur hasta su punto más al norte. Ahora, lo digo para TODO EL MUNDO con amor y paz para todos.
NO OLVIDÉMOSLE orar, donar suministros y nuestro tiempo de todas las maneras posibles para ayudar a los afectados por la guerra, y eso es casi imposible de hacer hasta que los idiotas con armas dejen de lado sus armas. Eso es lo que escribió un juez federal el jueves al ponerse del lado de las estaciones de televisión locales en una disputa extraordinaria por un anuncio televisivo a favor del derecho al aborto.
El juez federal de distrito Mark E. Walker del Distrito Norte de Florida otorgó una orden de restricción temporal contra el director general de salud de Florida después de que el departamento de salud del estado amenazara con presentar cargos penales contra las emisoras que transmitieran el anuncio.

El tumor de Wendy Guimont no la mató. Pero una cascada de errores inclinó la balanza. La querida profesora de piano inspiró y capacitó a instructores de música para niños en todo Canadá. Esta mujer emprendedora a la que le encantaba caminar, andar en bicicleta y jugar al golf, residente de Cranbrook, Columbia Británica, y su esposo aprovecharon la oportunidad de conducir una casa rodante hasta Arizona.
Mientras estaba en los EE. UU., el dolor de espalda que Guimont inicialmente había ignorado empeoró. El día de San Valentín de 2021, se enteró de que tenía cáncer de páncreas metastásico.
