Good morning, everyone; it is still chilly at this time, 36°F with a high of 41°F and cloudy.☁️🥶, and I have another dumb, dumb doctor's appointment today. Since I have gots to get me arse out here, I decided that we may as well do a bit of shopping while we're at it. I made the coffee and stood at the sliding doors looking out at my green space, drab and sad-looking. I had to take the flowers in and pile everything up out there so it wouldn't get blown away by the wind. I'm lucky the strings holding the fronds on my fake palms held.
There is not much more new going on in the newsroom📰 this morning, but it is nice and quiet in here. Plenty of insanity and noise out there. Hey, why not do a little hustle? What about A BAG 🛍 OF 🫨INSANITY😵💫to go with the wine🍷 for $99.99? It guarantees the bag of insanity will last much longer than the wine.😆

Time and Time Again: Is History Repeating Itself Through Photography?
Scholars have always discussed the notion that history repeats itself. Or how about HOW QUICKLY WE FORGET! Or block it out. Those who suffer from the trauma of PTSD either in civil or wartime conditions. I can imagine a person on a jackhammer all day may get the same result as the soldier behind a heavy machine gun all day.
Or being in any environment with loud, unexpected noises, like being in the trenches in a war scene with bombs dropping. Today, they have ear devices that reduce the noise level; we didn't have that in the dynamite factory where I worked for ten years. What are the psychological effects of a noisy environment?
Environmental noise exposure is thought to affect the brain and cognition due to its detrimental effects on the learning process (e.g. distracting attention from lessons or work), sleep (e.g. keeping one awake and affecting cognitive capability and development subsequently), stress (increasing psychological frustration.

CSIS says India allegedly meddled in Poilievre’s leadership race, according to 2 sources
The Latest:
Indian government agents were allegedly involved in fundraising and organizing in the South Asian community in support of Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre's 2022 leadership bid, two sources told Radio-Canada.
CSIS did not have any evidence Poilievre or his team were aware of India’s alleged actions, the sources said.
The news was first reported by the Globe and Mail earlier today.
Radio-Canada reported in November that Indian government agents had tried to harm the leadership bid of Patrick Brown, who is now the mayor of Brampton, Ont.
Liberal Leader Mark Carney is in Halifax this morning making an announcement about national security.

Preparé el café y me quedé de pie frente a las puertas corredizas mirando mi espacio verde, monótono y triste. Tuve que guardar las flores y amontonarlo todo allí para que no se lo llevara el viento. Menos mal que las cuerdas que sujetaban las hojas de mis palmeras artificiales aguantaron.
No hay muchas novedades en la sala de redacción📰 esta mañana, pero se siente un ambiente tranquilo. Hay mucha locura y ruido ahí fuera. ¡Oye, por qué no animarse un poco! ¿Qué tal una BOLSA DE LOCURA🛍 para acompañar el vino🍷 por $99.99? Te garantizo que la bolsa de locura durará mucho más que el vino.😆
