Star Children
Star Children
We came from brilliant fields of star dust
Our souls long for more than
the Earth under our feet.
Some day we will return to our celestial home,
back to the stars from whence as we came.
And we'll go, tiptoe, through the solar field,
as easily as swimming among the lilies in a pond.
A dreamland it will be, with the heavens all about,
twinkling, filled with magical stars;
a dreamland where we will play to our heart's delight.
No more chores, no ill, nor sadness will there be.
Only happiness, and dancing, timeless glee!

The Dark Blue Sea
My heart longs to be near the roaring sea.
I mourn for the souls once alive and free,
Who in their fragile boats set sail
in search of treasure, spices, and kingdoms to be.
They have bestowed their sailor's hearts upon me,
thus I feel it a privilege to return to the sea,
until in this world I cease to be.
My heart is with them in the dark depths of the sea,
where I will always remember that day,
and I will join him there, forever to be.

Gratitude
When we give thanks for the day upon awakening, we are expressing gratitude! We should remember that the best way to express our gratitude is not always with the spoken word.
The spoken word is only too easily forgotten in our hectic pursuits in life.
As I see it, the best way to express your gratitude is a kind word followed by action; living up to those words is what is important.
