Hi everyone! Well, I am at least grateful for the nice weather we are having.
I pray that all the nasty weather for this year will subside soon, everywhere, so that the many stricken by these anomalous freakish weather patterns may have time to reassemble their lives at least, and find ways to rebuild, fortify residences, and build upland, away from the effect of water level rise during future super storms.
Let us all pray for Mother Earth and all her children.🙏

With all the different methods of transportation we have at our disposal today, there is no need for cities to be built near shorelines; they could be built upland on more solid ground, as I see it.
The only thing we need at the shorelines are the ports for freight and passenger liners. Or get someone to go down to the bottom of the ocean and pull the plug out. "Shh!" Some Republicans might get the notion and start advocating for the sink-plug industry when the water level starts coming down.😉🤣

‘Hard lockdown’: A timeline of the Apalachee High School shooting
On the morning of September 4, a student rode the bus to his Georgia school with a rifle and knife hidden in his backpack, investigators said.
Within two hours of arriving at Apalachee High School in Winder, prosecutors said he committed the deadliest US school shooting since the March 2023 rampage at the Covenant School in Nashville, and the 45th this year.
Two teachers and two students were dead and nine others, including one teacher and eight students, were injured.

Air Canada says strike averted after tentative deal with pilots
Roughly 110,000 travellers a day could have been impacted, with some already making backup plans
Passengers with plans to fly on Canada's largest airline can breathe a sigh of relief after Air Canada said Sunday it has reached a tentative agreement with the union representing more than 5,400 of its pilots.
The airline says Air Canada and Air Canada Rouge will continue to operate as normal, and the new four-year contract "recognizes the contributions and professionalism" of its pilots.
The terms of the new deal will remain confidential pending a ratification vote by the membership
