Hi friends! I may not be on much for the next few days.
Between meeting with friends in Hamilton on Saturday, a last-minute pick of things, and gassing up in Niagra Falls, New York, I REFUSE to pay the billionaire's prices they have here for gas. And then there's the house cleaning and packing to do to go to my sister's on September 23, which is going to be enough of a crunch.
I will do what I can to keep the news going from day to day; however short it might be, I can't guarantee, and that rhymes with Mrs. McGee, who has to ask Mr. Chekofsky, and then we shall see once we are standing under the coconut trees by the seashore.
There is also another problem that arose a couple of days ago: my brother-in-law was admitted to the hospital, so I do not have any idea if that will have any effect on when we will be back home, hopefully, if everything is stable, we should be back home before the September 28th weekend.

Climate Change:
What have you personally experienced from the difference in our climate compared to 50 years ago, even twenty years ago, and what's happening now? The rapidity of the Global Warming predicted back in the '70s has greatly exceeded what was expected back then and is accelerating.
In my observation, the deforestation of jungles, standing timber, and grasslands by fire has exceeded the deforestation of humans in the past fifty years. Growing desert land and rising water levels from melting ice caps are further proof of Global Warming.
And there are those, no doubt, especially the big money pants and their henchmen followers, who don't want to lose their pants and claim it's all a hoax. Poor, rich people are getting beat on. Oh! How sad.

In another, a second RCMP officer allegedly bragged about "Tasering unarmed Black people" and called a sexual assault investigation "stupid" — drawing comments from other members of the online group who "made fun of the victim" and said, "she's a dumb Mexican c--t."
