Good morning, everyone. I am a little late getting to the keyboard this morning; I had a Doctor's appointment at 9:00 am, which didn't really give me much time to do much of anything except to nurse my tummy; it feels like someone was using my innards for a punching bag.
It is a cloudy morning, but it is still lovely and mild. When I got back from the doctor, I went out to sit in my green space for a little while, simply to enjoy the trees, the birds, and the relative quiet, except for the odd passing car on this street in front of the building. I closed my eyes, gave thanks, then breathed a sigh of relief. Right now, I feel like a pregnant elephant.
"Better place a teletrunk call to the Elephantidae Obstetrician! You will find him at Tree, tirty tree street, onto Highway 66 to Sesame Street, past Grouch's garbage can, past Big Bird's nest, turn left at Ms Pigies, then right, and you're at Snuffleogosus's maternity ward.

Dang it! I wish I weren't right, but it does appear that what I have been posting on this group, Quora, and X, months ago, that the Gaza war was a massacre, and our dear master of Israel decided to take his little pitchfork out and poke the side of the cousin of the bear next door. All because he is one little warlord. Pin the little stubby mustach on him!
Now, if I were president of the U.S., I do not doubt as to what I would do. But I am not the president of even the outhouse, and neither would I want the job. I have no arguments with the U.S. aiding Ukraine; that war was uncalled for.
On the other hand, Israel's revenge on Gaza is nothing less than genocide.

Potential Iranian targets in Israel could include air bases and command centers.
Israel assesses that Iran is likely to attack three Israeli air bases and an intelligence base located just north of Tel Aviv, a person briefed on the matter said.
The intelligence base in Glilot was evacuated Tuesday afternoon, the source said, and the Israeli military has put contingency plans for the safety of personnel at those bases into effect.
The United States warned Israel that an attack would likely come within the next 12 hours, the person said.

Let us end the news here; it is good to keep up-to-date, but too much of this stuff can stab deep in the heart after a while. I never got desensitized. If anything, I'm more sensitive to it; if I'm exposed to it for too long, it messes with my emotions.

Ahora bien, si yo fuera presidente de los EE. UU., no dudo de lo que haría. Pero no soy el presidente ni siquiera del retrete, y tampoco lo haría. Quiero el trabajo. No tengo ningún problema con que Estados Unidos ayude a Ucrania; esa guerra no se justificaba.
Por otro lado, la venganza de Israel contra Gaza no es nada menos que un genocidio.
