Good morning, folks; well, here I am again in the Newsroom.
I am not sure what the weather is going to be; right now, from the Tree House, it's partly cloudy, with dark grey, yucky snow.

The land lay still as though holding its breath, waiting for the next shoe to fall like scared jackrabbits.
Like a plague, the insanity seeped across the land and even across borders, like industrial chemicals seeping into the waterways, the veins of Gaia that feed us all.
MR. PRESIDENT, THE PEOPLE ARE SCARED, not just the immigrants but the regular Joe Blow, too, even the guy playing golf with you. We are all scared to varying degrees, and fear brings paranoia. President Trump, Bishop Marian Budde was right: people are scared; they remember too well the days of the concentration camps.
Going to Hell in a handbasket on greased rails, one may say! And here you are, Mr. President, handing out the baskets to we, the people, who can go straight to Hell. Remember, even the lower-based life forms have the instinct to fight to survive.
I know how to play checkers and chew gum when it comes to the system. I admit I did it myself a couple of times, but that was peanuts—survival—compared to what happens on a larger scale. As a social worker, I learned how others played the system.
It's the same with the rich, only with much larger numbers on the bills. Mr President. I know psychology quite well. I read books and learned from an excellent teacher. I worked for 25 years as a social worker. I got most of my education from reading books. I was not very good in the classroom or behind a desk; I'm a hands-on person. The type you claim you stand for.

All federal grants and loan disbursement paused by White House
The White House budget office has ordered a pause on all federal grants and loans, according to an internal memorandum sent Monday, potentially impacting trillions in government spending and halting public programs that affect millions of Americans.
Federal agencies "must temporarily pause all activities related to obligation or disbursement of all Federal financial assistance," White House Office of Management and Budget acting director Matthew Vaeth said in the memorandum, a copy of which was obtained by CNN. The pause also blocks the issuance of new grants.

Trabajé durante 25 años como asistente social. La mayor parte de mi educación la obtuve leyendo libros. No era muy bueno en el aula ni detrás de un escritorio; soy una persona práctica. El tipo de persona que usted dice representar.

ReplyDeleteSure, people in America and everywhere else are scared because no one knows what Trump will do next. That's how he wants it. He loves chaos. When things become a real mess of his doing, and people are filled with doubt, and their lives are at stake, he steps in, fixes a little bit of the mess he made, takes credit for having done it with "his" money and "his" resources, and all bow down to him and make him a hero again and again. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy set up for those who think he's their hero to have the image reinforced.
That is how all dictators have done it in the past. They choose people or groups to hate and neutralize. When their plans go wrong or their words prove false, they blame anyone they choose for their failings and never take responsibility for anything. Hitler did it that way. Mussolini did it that way. So did Stalin and the South American dictators. They convince the populace to trust in them because they will make the nation great again. They will create chaos in the course of making the nation great again. When chaos has paralyzed the people with fear, the dictator will step in, undo some of the fabricated chaos, and call it making the nation great again, and many will bow before him as the great hero.

Paula Koval, I have no doubt about such a possibility. It certainly doesn't look like he's going to make it rain roses. The rest of the nations are going to have to unify, more so than ever. America is becoming another state of Russia.😞😢
