Do you have an albatross around your neck?

Possibly because my ambitions were greater than my ability to manifest them, that was why I repeatedly failed to manifest the desired result. So I blamed it on the imaginary albatross that I carried around my neck like a boat anchor until I discovered that while I was struggling to pound the square peg in the round hole, it wasn't the direction I was to follow.

I discovered that once I started at the first step and then worked my way up, I took time to check out each shelf as I went up. That way, I would have a better chance of finding the jar with the right elixir. The jar I got was a much different target than I had in mind, but the elixir in the jar did an excellent job.

That elixir would not have been in my plans if I hadn't decided to start with the first step and then work my way up. I may never have accomplished anything greater than working at McDonald's. But I certainly have learned much from the experiences I had living on the road and spending twenty-five years of my life serving others as a social worker.

I was a McGyver person; I always wanted to invent something. I didn't invent anything great outside of a few items around the house to facilitate different household jobs; well, I had a few ideas on blueprints, but it never got to the actual finished product. But then, Hell, it was fun trying.

Posiblemente porque mis ambiciones superaban mi capacidad para manifestarlas, por eso fracasé repetidamente en manifestar el resultado deseado. Así que le eché la culpa al peso imaginario que llevaba alrededor del cuello como un ancla de barco, hasta que descubrí que, aunque me costaba encajar la clavija cuadrada en el agujero redondo, no era la dirección que debía seguir.

Descubrí que, una vez que empezaba por el primer escalón y subía, me tomaba el tiempo de revisar cada estante a medida que subía. Así, tendría más posibilidades de encontrar el frasco con el elixir adecuado. El frasco que conseguí era un objetivo muy diferente al que tenía en mente, pero el elixir que contenía hizo un excelente trabajo.

Ese elixir no habría estado en mis planes si no hubiera decidido empezar por el primer escalón y luego ir subiendo. Puede que nunca hubiera logrado nada más grande que trabajar en McDonald's. Pero sin duda he aprendido mucho de las experiencias que viví viajando y dedicando veinticinco años de mi vida a servir a los demás como trabajadora social.

Era una persona de McGyver; siempre quise inventar algo. No inventé nada extraordinario, salvo algunos objetos en casa para facilitar las tareas domésticas; bueno, tuve algunas ideas para planos, pero nunca llegué a la versión final. Pero bueno, ¡qué divertido fue intentarlo!

And I thank G-d, The Great Spirit, for giving Tandy Corporation the idea of inventing a home computer system, or I wouldn't be here to participate.

Gratitude or Destitution

Have you stopped to think of how many things wouldn't be here if it weren't for some brilliant-minded individual who invented and invested time and money to develop their idea to start with? That goes for all fields of science and technology, health care, pharmaceutical research, agriculture, etc. It begins with a TRUE, JUST, and TRUSTWORTHY leader; with freedom, we have dreamers, counselors, teachers, caregivers, engineers, physicists, doctors, and carpenters, all the way down to the ditch digger. Even the ditch digger plays an integral part in the building of this project; someone has to dig the basement, don't they? In the end, it will be THE ONE WHO CARES! Empathy is crucial for our survival.

We CANADIANS welcome all of the people mentioned above to our newly developing country that still FLIES THE FLAG OF FREEDOM.

Putting people on the street, firing them so they can't apply for different employment or unemployment benefits, taking away their health care, their medicine, kicking old folks and veterans out on the street in their wheelchairs, canes, and crutches, right alongside the patients from the hospital next door.

The above-mentioned is what is going to happen on the 3rd of April when there will be nobody home in the mailbox, Social Security, and other benefits. OH YES! That man loves the people so much he wants to sh-t all over them. Think about it. As far as the orange pus bag's sidekick, El Muscrato, the bag blower, should be in rehab before he fries his brain out. We do not have a secretary of health in Canada sporting any brainworm under her hat; Kamal Khera doesn't sport a brainworm under her hat.

Trump says he ‘couldn’t care less’ if auto prices rise because of tariffs

President Donald Trump said Saturday he doesn’t care if automakers hike prices because of his tariffs. In fact, he encouraged them to.

Asked by NBC News’ Kristen Welker in a phone interview about whether he pressured automakers to avoid raising prices after his 25% tariffs on imported cars and parts go into effect, Trump denied that he told CEOs to control costs.

“No, I never said that,” Trump told Welker. “I couldn’t care less if they raise prices, because people are going to start buying American cars.”

Is DOGE actually an agency? The answer could have major ramifications

Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency has blitzed its way through federal agencies over the last two months, spawning dozens of lawsuits in its effort to shrink the federal government.

As judges take a closer look at how DOGE is operating, and what authority it exercises across the federal bureaucracy, among the many questions they’re asking is whether DOGE is actually a government agency itself.

The answer to that question, pedantic as it may sound, could have major ramifications, including whether DOGE is subject to public records laws and other statutes that require some oversight of executive branch activity.

The laws could pose a check on what Musk can do with his government-slashing project — both by granting access to what’s happening behind the scenes, and by giving legal challengers tools to potentially reverse some of his most drastic actions.

¿Se han parado a pensar en cuántas cosas no existirían si no fuera por una persona brillante que inventó e invirtió tiempo y dinero en desarrollar su idea?
