TREE HOUSE NEWS ๐Ÿก

Land of Whispering Pines ๐ŸŒฒ

Good Morning! May Great Spirit bless ๐Ÿ™

Here is an update of my response to yesterday's TREE HOUSE NEWS.

When closing up last night, I posted that there was nothing much new on the news, just some more air sandwiches, except for,

Read below: ๐Ÿ‘‡

This article on TV caught my attention:

My Opinion: Nothing new on the news, just some more air sandwiches, except, surprise! Guess what?

It's going to cost more for hydro when they turn on the new nuclear power plants????

This new atomic generating plant, added to our existing hydro, should cost less ๐Ÿ’ต, not more!

Here's how to prove it's not just fake news. "Search it!"

- Google Search -

My Question to - Google Search -

Will Ontario Hydro cost more when the new nuclear power plant is turned on?

- Google Search - response:

Yes, electricity costs in Ontario are expected to increase with new nuclear power developments. Energy experts and advocates indicate that the province's nuclear-heavy strategy, including a new small modular reactor (SMR) plant, could raise costs for ratepayers.

And here we are, SHORT OF DOCTORS AND NURSES when the Ontario Government is supposed to have cut the red tape to make it easier to transition to the Ontario Health Ministry's regulations? Okay, then they throw this pipe wrench into the gears by adding a requirement of two years of high school education **in Ontario** before a doctor immigrating to Ontario can begin **the required two-year internship** before they can enter and practice as doctors in Ontario!

What an insult to a self-respecting English-speaking and educated doctor or nurse with credentials from a foreign college or university or a license from the cognizant regulatory agency! Whoever came up with this has to be not just prejudiced but also a Trumpeter arse kisser. And now, hospital wings, small hospitals, and clinics are shutting down due to a shortage of doctors and nurses.

No. 3 on the list:

My Question to - Google Search -

Where is the $3 billion, which was part of an 8.4 billion package that the Trudeau government funded for Ontario's healthcare system last year?

- Google Search -

Ontario's healthcare was part of a larger, 10-year $8.4 billion agreement with the province, announced in February 2024. This $3.1 billion was allocated over three years to increase access to family doctors, reduce wait times,

HAVE YOU HEARD OF ANY NEW DOCTORS BEING ADDED TO HOSPITALS AND CLINICS WHERE YOU ARE?

All I've been hearing over the last few weeks is that more clinics and small rural hospitals are being closed, and the shortage of healthcare workers has not worsened, but rather improved. So Ontario SUCKS and is not trying to fix the situation. Between this greed in our governing system, like stealing health care money from the people, ๐Ÿ’ฉ just flies like a lead duck, ๐Ÿฆ† and I hope it lands on the Orange Puke's ๐Ÿ˜ก ๐Ÿคฎ head. ๐Ÿ—ฃ

My personal opinion is that too many of our dear leaders are manifestly narcissistic, greedy, sadistic vampires who are looking to suck our blood dry! We, the People; it's not hard to see that there is more to it than just erecting a Nazi regime.}} Still, it would also seem that the intent is to kill off as much of the world's population as possible, making the world easier to manage. Today, this may not only be fodder for a good sci-fi movie, but it might be the real thing.

FART SANDWICHES, I believe at least they have a better flavor and more nutrition than air sandwiches. But you never know until you try. ๐Ÿ’จ ๐Ÿฅช Dem der ๐Ÿ’ฉ baggers, not to be mistaken for the tea baggers, they were pussy cats showing some level of possible intelligence, no, these Dunceburgers with the masks have the traits of a Rat Finks.

- Google Search -

WHAT IS A RAT FINK?

"Rat fink" is a slang term for a contemptible person, particularly an informer or traitor...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ExBe6HYFwsA

Now for a quick look at the National News.

Yaaaa, there goes the Fat Orang Fink in his soiled diaper! ๐Ÿ‘บ ๐Ÿ’ฉ ๐Ÿณ️

That's okay, we have all the fishing nets ๐Ÿ•ธ that automatically cover the city of Toronto ๐Ÿ™ in preparation for a storm from the US side of the border.

Supreme Court lets Trump pause full SNAP payments for now

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson on Friday temporarily paused a lower court order that required the Trump administration to cover full food stamp benefits for tens of millions of Americans in November, siding with the administration on a short-term basis in a legal fight that has quickly become a defining confrontation of the government shutdown.

As it stands for now, IT'S JUST ANOTHER AIR SANDWICH. SNAP food benefit payments are delayed in the courts due to Trump and company. Do they care?

How long will the food banks and volunteer pantries continue to struggle while people are literally starving? Trumpo and his cadre are happy letting people go hungry or die because of paperwork and those little pieces of green paper; if we don't have them, we would be living in the bush, chewing tree bark as far as our dear, sadistic cockroach leader and dunce cadets care. They see nothing but BUTT WIPE PAPERS when it comes to the cost of a human life that could be saved.

Why Trump’s battle with U.S. mayors might hurt everyone, even him

U.S. president has battled with Democratic mayors of Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles

If the fiery victory speech delivered by New York mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani on Tuesday is any indication, a smooth working relationship with the president of the United States may not be in the cards any time soon. Mamdani warned Donald Trump to “turn the volume up” as he laid out a list of criticisms against the president.

It was not a surprising admonishment, considering the president has been an outspoken critic of Mamdani, having called the self-described democratic socialist a “100% Communist Lunatic.” ...

Could Mamdani be the saviour of the Democratic Party?

Trump threatened to cut funding if New Yorkers voted for Mamdani. They did it anyway

TREE HOUSE NEWS ๐Ÿก

Land of Whispering Pines ๐ŸŒฒ

Good Morning! May Great Spirit bless๐Ÿ™

You wouldn't know it now, but today, Friday, started as another beautiful sunny morning. We experienced a power disruption this morning. I thank the Great Spirit that the coffee was done when the power went out. Then I noticed the power was only out in the kitchen. But not entirely out, the lights began to flash on and off, like when something is shorting out. Those flashing lights can confuse a person's mind, so I turned them off, fearing that I might blow a fuse in my own power supply to the neosynapses, causing them to unravel into a bowl of gelatinous spaghetti.

That's how I feel at times when I get one of those stomach derangements, different levels of nausea. Once they subside, I'm still tensely awaiting the next attack by the aliens ๐Ÿ‘ฝ from planet Puke-Ville. ๐Ÿคฎ Then, I sit there looking for an encore for an award winner in the competition for best performance for The Ad-Nauseam Academy Award Winners Trophy Of The Year. ๐Ÿ†

I should at least get a tin badge, ya know, like the ones you use to get in a box of cornflakes, or one of those little plastic submarines and the soda trick in the bathtub. That was fun, and they worked well. My dad's shoes only floated until they got waterlogged. Those little windup boats with a real propeller and rudder were also fun in the tub. My favorite toy was Bobbie McGee, a doll I had. I made her up in my imagination as my imaginary or invisible friend. I could talk to her when I was alone about stuff I didn't trust to tell anyone else.

Toys were whatever turned my crank; then, once the novelty wore off, I moved on to something else, which was a significant part of my life's story before I got into Social Work. It didn't matter to me what the job was: a farm, a ranch, a truck stop, a factory, any day job, just enough to keep moving. I wasn't looking to get rich; I was looking to travel, explore, discover, and learn. Today, I thank the Great Spirit for being with me on this guided tour and for the experiences I had on the road, such as the life of an itinerant traveler - how much freer can you be? My journey was priceless.

What have I got to lose? Well, let's put it this way: I indeed thank all my lucky stars and the Creator that I decided to let go of the messes I had in my life, and I braved my way through the jungle alone, following my heart as my guide.

BELIEVE ME, it works, but you do truly have to believe in the Higher power to work within you. THE SLIGHTEST DOUBT will upset the apple cart ⚫️ <- big period that's it.

BREAKING NEWS:

Supreme Court to weigh longshot bid to overturn same-sex marriage precedent

The Supreme Court will meet behind closed doors Friday to consider a longshot bid to overturn its decade-old same-sex marriage precedent, an appeal that is churning fear among some LGBTQ advocates even though the justices themselves have repeatedly signaled little appetite for reopening the landmark decision.

The pending appeal comes from Kim Davis, a former county clerk from Kentucky who refused to issue marriage licenses after the Supreme Court’s blockbuster 2015 decision, Obergefell v. Hodges, allowed same-sex couples to legally marry. Davis, who has fought her case for years, has directly asked the court to jettison that decision. “The time has come,” Davis argued in a recent filing, for a “course correction.”

The Supreme Court will meet Friday, like it often does this time of year, to consider which appeals it will hear in coming months and which it will deny. The Davis appeal is one of dozens of cases the justices will consider in that private meeting, and the court could announce as soon as Monday what it will do with the case...

Canada gains a surprise 67,000 jobs in October, beating economists' expectations

Unemployment rate edges down to 6.9%

The Canadian economy added a surprising 67,000 jobs in October and the unemployment rate ticked down to 6.9 per cent, Statistics Canada said on Friday, beating economists' expectations for the month.

While the majority of the jobs gained in October were part-time positions, "that doesn't do much to detract" from the strong headline number, wrote CIBC senior economist Andrew Grantham. Both full-time and part-time work were up on a yearly basis. By sector, the influx of work was driven by wholesale and retail trade — which added 41,000 jobs — as well as transportation and warehousing, information, culture and recreation, and utilities...

Worried about being fingerprinted? What snowbirds need to know about U.S. registration requirement

The registration requirement sounds simple, but it can actually be quite complex

As snowbirds flock to the border to escape the Canadian winter, many are encountering the new U.S. registration requirement for the first time.

The rule, which took effect in April under the Trump administration, makes it mandatory for Canadians staying longer than 29 days to register with the U.S. government. The regulation sounds simple, but it’s actually complex. Not all long-term travellers need to register, and for those who do, there’s more than one way to complete the process.

Further complicating matters, there’s no central U.S. government website that lays out all the options for travellers, and those who register at the border will likely be photographed, fingerprinted and charged $30 US...

Land of Whispering Pines ๐ŸŒฒ

Good Morning! May Great Spirit bless ๐Ÿ™

It's a beautiful day! Honestly, this time the sun is really shining, and the air has stilled, returning to the serene morning silence. I stood in my Green Space, surrounded by some rather large trees in the woods behind our building. My private South Sea island perch features a balcony decorated with a few artificial tropical plants and Astroturf. Furnishings consist of three patio chairs, a glass patio table, and our electric NINJA barbecue. Excellent machine, but the parts are shipped from America. The patio chairs are comfortable for seating. At the same time, Paula and I enjoy spending some time there in conversation, barbecuing, or just sitting and meditating.

This place on the Nigara Peninsula, with its earlier spring and later fall seasons, reminds me very much of my second home, the Smokies of Tennessee, complete with the crickets and katydids, which were still chirping in full force right up to the last night of October 31, 2025.

Believe me, the silence and peace in NATURE is golden.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exql5yYp2L8

TODAY'S TOPIC:

Tariffs

The tariffs on parts coming in from the U.S., like the NINJA barbecue warranty replacement we needed, took much longer because it was in an American warehouse. Jeep and GM will likely come to regret their move out of Ontario due to the current U.S. tariffs on automotive products. Property and other government assistance, as well as wages, cost a lot more there. Additionally, they will pay tariffs on the metals from Canada that they need to build their vehicles.

That may not matter much after yesterday's Supreme Court session. The justices seemed skeptical of the government's arguments for how the tariffs were imposed. After hearing arguments from both sides in the case, those tariffs may go POOFERS! ๐Ÿ’จI am on my KNEES PRAYING for Trumpo to become a lame duck with a good dose of fleas and a bad case of diarrhea in his diaper. ๐Ÿ’ฉ ๐Ÿณ️ "Wham, Bam, Thank You, KINK Orange Pushead! FOR YOUR ROYAL KINDNESS, YA - insert explicit - BUM!" (‿ห ‿)

I like my home-made adjectives and the emojis. They're much better and more fun to invent than using real curse words anyway. I believe the emojis enhance what I'm saying very well, and the homemade adjectives I use may be colorful, but not in any way curse words, just made-up words, and they roll off the tongue even better than cuss words. It's much more enjoyable to express displeasure humorously, but also in a diplomatic way. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Would you like a little caviar shit ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ’ฉsandwich, ๐Ÿฅช my dear Madam?๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ

"Now, you can't insult those who were an insult to intelligence from their birth to start with, especially the obnoxious Orange Unintelligent Pus Bag with the IQ of the contents in the bottom of his diaper. It's a waste of time, but nothing sayin' ya can't confuse them Mother Trucking Knuckle Draging, Orange Pus Bag Butt Kissing Dunces!"

The old Ford comes to a sudden stop after a couple of loud farts, along with a large cloud of dark smoke came puffing out all around the Duct Tape bandaged up muffler and out of what's left for a tail pipe.

It reminded me of a cartoon I once saw of a cowboy spitting a wad of tobacci out of the open truck window, disregarding the 46-car pileup on the I-75 Freeway behind him.

"Anyway, to continue the old Ford story, the gasoline tank ran dry halfway up the hill when MkGee discovers that she has... erk! Her face went pale as she realised she had "no brakes! MkGee shouts loudly at her sister as she pulls on the hand brake. Uh, oh, nobody's home. "Wake up, wake up, sista! she continues to shout. Wake up if you wanna see the biggest accident you've ever seen in your life, eh!" Sheesh! She missed it."

WANNA BUY THE CN TOWER? ๐Ÿ™ Eh? Real cheap, two wooden Canadian Nickels. ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿช™

The only hitch is that the nickels have to be made from Canadian lumber. ๐Ÿชต

Did Bill Gates really say we don't need to address climate change?

Scientists say philanthropist's open letter is misguided

Over the past week, you may have come across headlines like this: “Bill Gates bends the knee on climate change,” or “The week Bill Gates backtracked on climate change — and sent eco fanatics into meltdown,” or even “Bill Gates gives up on climate change.”

But did the Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist really say climate change isn’t important? The whole discussion started due to a poorly timed memo issued by Gates on the very day that Jamaica was devastated by a powerful Category 5 hurricane. It begins with this: “There’s a doomsday view of climate change that goes like this:

“In a few decades, cataclysmic climate change will decimate civilization. The evidence is all around us — just look at all the heat waves and storms caused by rising global temperatures. Nothing matters more than limiting the rise in temperature...

Land of Whispering Pines ๐ŸŒฒ

Good Morning! May Great Spirit bless ๐Ÿ™

It's a beautiful day.... I'm fibbin' a bit, it's cloudy, grey, cool, and windy out, a typical November Day here at the Tree House. But today the sun is shining brightly inside, so for me it's a beautiful day, unless someone ๐Ÿ’ฉ on my ๐Ÿ‘ . That sometimes happens. I am learning to put aside the apple cart before entering the unknown fray and chaos that lies before me; my sunshine may not survive if I don't look first. So I wait for calmer waters before taking the apple cart across the less chaotic cart crossing. Make sure the donkey goes on the barge before the cart, eh! It's simply being cool about things and situations, like the 'freezing to your clothes' type of attitude, as seen in Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars. If I could master that state of mind, I could be Yoda's replacement. Yoda was also a character from the Star Wars franchise. I could move pyramids. ⏏️ ⏏️ ๐Ÿคช ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคฃ ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿคญ

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Donkey Befoe Cart

Sorry, I'm not a pyramid transporter. The detector-amplifier responder in the Cabot recorder chip, which leads to the master gel pack memory banks of the main computing center in Victoria Harbor, Tay Township, Central Ontario, Canada, Area 52, is experiencing a slight drop in performance every few bytes. Who would have guessed?

That's what I call wishful thinking, anyway. Even if I could, I would not use it to harm anyone, not even the Orange Pus Bag and his Dunce Brigade. I would leave the Judge of All Judges to deal with them on their final judgment day. I wouldn't want to be dressed only in sunglasses, a bikini, and sandals, where I believe they're going. Along with a return ticket to Mar-A-Lago?

Here I am today, feeling well and ready to roll. Roll out the Barrel and we'll have a barrel of fun, tonight, eh!

Takeaways from Tuesday’s elections: Democrats win across the spectrum as voters reject Trump

Voters up and down the East Coast delivered Democrats a sweep on Tuesday, electing candidates across the party’s ideological spectrum in a vivid show of discontent with President Donald Trump nearly a year into his second term. In Virginia, moderate former Rep. Abigail Spanberger turned in the strongest Democratic performance in the state’s recent history as she coasted to victory. And in New Jersey, another moderate, Rep. Mikie Sherrill, busted apart the coalition Trump and her Republican rival, former state lawmaker Jack Ciattarelli, had put together to close the Garden State’s gap in recent elections.

In New York City, democratic socialist Zohran Mamdani’s win marked the second time this year he’d defeated former Gov. Andrew Cuomo — first in the Democratic primary, and then in the general election, with Cuomo running as an independent backed by Trump...

Federal budget charts difficult path out of current crisis — with small margin of error

Whether ‘upside’ or ‘downside’ scenario plays out, plan relies on economy keeping its head above water

The 2025 federal budget plots a path for the Canadian economy to emerge from the current crisis. But it also highlights just how deep a hole the economy is in right now and how small the margin for error is as Canada navigates the perils of a trade war. “This budget must be generational in its ambition and serve to shape our economy and our nation’s future,” said Finance Minister Franรงois-Philippe Champagne. “There is no place for withdrawal, ambiguity or even standing still; only for bold and swift action.”

The budget lays out various scenarios for economic growth over the next five years. The so-called upside scenario envisions a world in which U.S. tariffs are rolled back and global trade works its way back to normal...

I believe that's about it for major news in CANADA, for the moment, an air sandwich. It appears to be the same with the US Superior Court, so far, a fart sandwich. ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿฅช Thank you for reading the Tree House News.

Me Asking: - Google Search -

A US fed. gov. fart sandwich: ✨๐ŸŸฐ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿฅช

- Google Search - Responce:

The phrase "fart sandwich" is not a formal or established term used in reference to the U.S. federal government. It is a slang or vulgar insult that is likely used to express strong dissatisfaction, disgust, or contempt for a person, entity, or situation perceived as awful, worthless, or incompetent.

The term appears to be a creative, highly informal insult rather than a recognized political or bureaucratic term. While searches did reveal instances of a federal employee being officially reprimanded for excessive flatulence in the workplace, and research into a "fart spray" non-lethal weapon by the U.S. government, there is no evidence of "fart sandwich" being an established slang term for the government itself.

Common, more established terms used to describe bureaucratic inefficiency or bad government, though not slang, include:

~LMAO-OL~ <- "Laughing my arse off out

Trump denies inflation is hurting Americans. It’s the same mistake that haunted Biden

“We have no inflation,” President Donald Trump said in his “60 Minutes” interview Sunday evening. “Our groceries are down.”

And with those two false claims, Trump is repeating a political mistake that haunted his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, and contributed to the Democrats losing the White House: Trump appears to be denying the economic reality that people are experiencing in their everyday lives. Whether or not Trump is making a similar political miscalculation remains to be seen. Today’s elections in Virginia, New Jersey and New York City could serve as an indication.

Inflation is far from the crisis levels of the Biden years, but it never went away. And inflation is on the rebound again, rising in September to the highest annual rate since January in part because of the president’s tariffs...

Congress ties record for longest shutdown as bipartisan talks pick up steam

With Congress now tied for its longest-ever shutdown, a small group of fed-up lawmakers in Washington are furiously trying to end the standoff as soon as this week. Those members insist there’s real momentum this time. Yet the potential off-ramp doesn’t appear to deliver Democrats any real win on their biggest demand of the shutdown: health care.

Talks over reopening the government are focused on putting together a funding package and giving Democrats a stand-alone vote to extend expiring subsidies under the Affordable Care Act, according to sources familiar with the high-stakes negotiations. The deal would also include a pathway to move ahead with three bills to fund major agencies of the federal government through next September.

But given that there is no guarantee that an extension of ACA subsidies will pass the Senate – much less the House — it’s unclear whether enough Democrats will accept that proposal to reopen the government, the sources said. So it is bound to prompt sharp division among Democrats about whether a vote is enough after the damaging consequences of the shutdown standoff...

Liberals to table 'big, bold' federal budget Tuesday as Carney looks to put his stamp on government

'This is the kind of budget you will remember,' finance minister says

Finance Minister Franรงois-Philippe Champagne will deliver the new Liberal government’s first budget Tuesday that will be full of what he calls “generational investments” to spur growth and help the country weather the tariff-related economic storm. While Champagne is the minister in charge of the file, Prime Minister Mark Carney, a former central banker, is uniquely interested in financial matters and has personally promised to present a pro-growth budget that will usher Canada into a “new era” and “define our next century.”

“We have the resources to transform our economy from one of reliance to resilience,” Carney told reporters Saturday after a nine-day swing through Asia designed to open up new markets for Canadian goods and services now that the U.S. relationship is on shaky ground.
