Great Spirit bless π
Good morning all, and I mean a GOOD MORNING, it's a beautiful, golden, sunshiny morning (photo below). It's "TROPICANA TIME!" out on my Green Space. So silent and peaceful, except for the distant humming of a cargo ship somewhere out on Lake Ontario and the singing of birds in the trees across the driveway. With that early sunlight beaming down, it appeared to glow golden through the trees.
On the forest floor, there is a mesmerizing golden-green magical garden where the fairies dance in their fairy circle with the leprechauns a' playin' the bagpipes. At the same time, the elves played their fiddles in a tune so enchanting that it lifted me into the fairy circle and gently got me a' dancin' with 'em! My imagination serves me well as my mind was a' wanderin'.
When I returned from time with mystical woodland creatures, my thoughts turned to all the misery there is around me in the world, and I prayed π for everyone and gave thanks for my little Island of peace π️ I closed my eyes π I allowed myself to bathe in the warm, golden sunlight π Certainly, it was a spiritual experience πΌ Being humbled keeps me on the right track. My only mission is to INFORM, and I pray that I always be guided by the The ALL/G-d in sharing my thoughts and feelings here in the Newsroom.
That will be about it for today in the Newsroom. Now it's on with the Daily Discussion. Thank you for visiting and reading the Tree House News π‘

DAILY DISCUSSION:
Question: A Spiritual Experience/HUMILITY:
AI Overview
In a spiritual context, humility is not self-deprecation or weakness; it is the honest evaluation of your place in the universe. It means letting go of ego and acknowledging your dependence on something greater. This shift unlocks deep inner peace, resilience, and a profound capacity to learn from everyone and everything.
Any good deed is done humbly and from the heart, not for show or financial advantage. A real philanthropist would not necessarily want to go public, or even be known to the public, to obviously then the debauchery sets in; liars, defamers, crooks, blood suckers, and Dunce Cadets all decide to pile up on you like cockroaches πͺ³ on a pile of π©π©π©
If I'm aware of the debauchery, I believe it's my duty to point out what smells like π© IS π© big period ->• and that's it.
I pray π you all have a good, productive day π©ππ Amen!

BREAKING NEWS:
Iran attacks US military sites in Bahrain and Kuwait as strikes strain fragile truce
US President Donald Trump warns Iran 'will no longer exist' if strikes continue, while Tehran threatens to halt negotiations.
Here's The Latest:
• Regional flare-up: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it targeted US military sites in neighboring countries including Kuwait and Bahrain, after the US struck Iranian sites. The exchanges of attacks are testing the fragile US-Iran agreement.
• New threats: Neither side is looking ready to de-escalate. US President Donald Trump threatened more military action if Iranian strikes continue, while the IRGC warned ceasefire violations would “result in the complete halt of all diplomatic processes.”
• Strait of Hormuz: The escalation was triggered by an Iranian attack on a cargo ship on Thursday in the vital Strait of Hormuz. Despite this, ships continue to pass through and are increasingly steering clear of the Iran controlled route.
• Lebanon: Fighting between Israel and Hezbollah remains another flashpoint. An Israeli soldier was killed while the Israeli military reportedly carried out fresh strikes in southern Lebanon. There have been four separate agreements on Lebanon in June alone.

How Trump’s reconstructed Reflecting Pool created a ‘perfect’ storm for algae
For one thing, an ecologist explained, the president’s color choice “absorbs more light, more heat, and extra heat is a benefit for algae growth.”
Swamp. Vomit. Mountain Dew. These are just a few of the comparisons Washingtonians and tourists have drawn to the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool, which filled with algae last week after President Donald Trump’s multimillion-dollar renovation project went awry.
“It smells worse than it looks. That’s just… it’s not what Trump promised,” said Joe Cribbs, a pedestrian walking near the Reflecting Pool. Algae blooms in the Reflecting Pool are not new — the water feature has been turning similar shades of green since its opening in the early 1920s — but experts say the administration’s renovation likely worsened the problem.
Dr. Peter May, an algae expert and ecologist at the University of Maryland, specifically pointed to three mistakes made by the administration during the overhaul: the color, the water, and the season...

More evidence of life on Mars but still no life
Bob McDonald looks back at the many times scientists previously thought they'd found life on the Red Planet
Scientists are excited over the latest geological evidence for the existence of life on Mars. But as we have seen many times in the past, the Red Planet guards its secrets closely with the possibility of non-life explanations for the formations.
As geologist Joel Hurowitz said in our recent conversation on Quirks & Quarks, the rock in question was found by the Perseverance rover that has been exploring what was once a river delta that drained into an ancient Martian lake.
Two chemicals found in the delta, vivianite and greigite, are most often formed on Earth by microbial activity in the soil — hence the excitement. But under certain conditions, they can also be formed by chemical reactions. In other words, we have potential evidence for life on Mars, but no conclusive proof...
- NASA's Perseverance rover discovered spots on reddish rock in July 2024 that scientists are considering as a potential biosignature for life. (NASA/JPL-Caltech/MSSS):
- It was not until the late 1960s, when robots were finally sent to Mars, that we got the first close-up images of the surface and saw that there was evidence of channels but not canals. (NASA's Mariner 9 orbiter):

Some Canadians are crowdfunding their way through the cost of living crisis
More than 15,000 fundraisers for essential needs launched on GoFundMe
When he found himself strapped for cash to pay his bills, Luke Alberton says he had to "swallow his pride" and do something he normally wouldn't do.
"After a little bit of soul searching and difficult decision-making, I ended up starting a GoFundMe for myself," said Alberton. "[It's] a little against my typical way of getting through life." Originally from Sudbury, Ont., Alberton has lived in Toronto for the past 14 years and built a career largely in telephone-based customer service.
In August 2024, Alberton got laid off from his job. He went on employment insurance (EI) and began searching for work...

So now we know one thing. Our safety networks that protect our health, welfare, and well-being are beginning to fall apart, and more people are moving into tents, and eating at soup kitchens IN CANADA π
Then we have this NAZI crap slowly infiltrating us like the poison from a rattlesnake bite, and the snake is as ugly as a mud fence πͺΉ π It's the fat, orange Jabba the Hutt south of the border. May he get eaten by one of those sand worms on that desert planet with the two suns. Yeah, unfortunately, there is still too much of America sneezes, Canada says gesundheit. Will Canada continue holding onto Jabba the Hutt's πΉ coat tails π₯Ό right straight into HELL π₯It sure as Hell seems like it from where I sit.
Anyway, my morning began in my Green Space, very serene and peaceful, and that is where I will retire to after the news and lunch.
