TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

It's cloudy, rainy, and gloomy out. A few hours earlier, there was a flash of lightning ⛈️ followed swiftly by a loud thunderclap, but it has been quiet since. I guess that's a pretty good indication of what the weather is going to be like today: WET! 💦 by the 🪣

I won't be in the Newsroom long. I was sick all morning again. I don't know if this has any connection to my GERDs or my teeth, but whatever it is, it's slowly snuffing me out. In two more weeks, I will have my teeth pulled out. I pray that makes a difference, because as it is, life is not good, jumping from one pain in the butt to the other.

~ The resistance grows weaker as our freedom and democratic way of life, engaged in battle for the good of We, the People, wanes. The Force of Evil prevails and takes its throne in the battlefield of Hell!*_

We, the People, handed the crown to the Fat Orange Pig, THE TIN CAN GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, a rusted tin can at that, and his Dunce Brigade, the House and Senate, all eating from the Trumpo Pig Trough manufactured by Trump Pig Trough Manufacturing, Inc.

Lovely gifts for all his rich friends to eat out of in honor of The Orange Pus Bag of Bizarromerica. He receives "Squeals Of Appeals!" in gaiety and delight from a crowd of MAGAts

I may be somewhat mentally unstable, but my connection points still work pretty fine. I can still tie knots in my string as I go. I think Trumpo forgot how to tie a knot, never mind line up knots on a string.

For me, as an empath, it's natural to sense someone's feelings through their personality, mannerisms, facial expressions, and the emotions they convey. I can interpret the intentions and tactics used by a mentally disturbed person who cannot evaluate the feelings they copy and act them out. A sane, normal person tends to be more spontaneous in responding, without hesitation or deliberation, unless unsure what answer to give when questioned.

However, excessive awkwardness and deliberation over what to answer about something that involves emotions and feelings could be an indication of psychopathic behavior or alexithymia.

- Google Search -

Alexithymia:

People who struggle with feelings are typically described as having alexithymia, a condition characterized by difficulty identifying, processing, and expressing emotions. While they may not be able to recognize or articulate their feelings, they often still experience them, unlike apathy, which is characterized by a complete lack of feeling. Alexithymia is not a disorder itself, but can be linked to conditions like autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, and depression.

Serving as a social worker with mental health consumers, you get to know some of them quite intimately, like I feel what they feel, their feelings are superimposed over mine, or replace my own feelings momentarily with theirs. If someone asked me which I would prefer, reading minds or reading feelings, I would say feelings. Empathy is a much more intimate feeling than thoughts I couldn't touch. Anyone can be an empath if they are willing to open up to it and still come up with at least a minnow that will tell me what species of fish live in that lake.

That will be about it for me for today. Thank you for reading the News.

Empath's Feeling & Perceiving. Feel It Then You See It:

Science Or Spirituality?

As an empath, I broke this down as simply as possible, using the concept of Feeling It, then visualising what I feel.

The micro world - can you imagine if there were other worlds with environments that used the same physical chemistry, but evolved differently? How about DNA containing different combinations of information, which decides what species will grow from a specific set of DNA strands that we can not be aware of, because it simply does not exist here?

However, each is composed of the same elements within its own "TEMPORAL World". It would be kind of hard to go any simpler than that unless I get into quantum and the biological world from its inception, and the FIRST single-celled organism, then repeated in how many different sequences, and how many different environments?

*Waves Or Bubbles?*

Now, about gravitational waves, shock waves, blast waves, and echoes; how many layers, and how many Big Bangs are there in what is called the fabric of time and space, which stands at 0, Zero molecular motion, at the temperature of Absolute Zero, 0 degrees Kelvin. All remains STILL until disturbed by an outside force, the tiniest source of heat, or light energy in the absence of any motion in the infinite fabric of time and space. I would need to immerse myself in the complex world of PHYSICS and quantum mechanics to begin exploring the Infinite Potentialities of heat, light, and molecular motion.

This brief explanation is as simple as I can make it, unless I delve into scientific terms to convey my train of thought on this topic today. I would hate to think of how many nights burning the midnight oil it would take in research just to explain the basics of that idea. 🤔

A very interesting topic of discussion, I must say: 🧐

Data centers are spiking electricity costs in Maryland. It’s the ‘tip of the iceberg,’ one expert warns

Nike Carstarphen’s electricity bill is rising, even when she’s using less power.

The Baltimore resident’s electricity rate jumped 20% from August to September, even though she had cut her usage 40%, relying on her air conditioning less during a milder month. She gets her power from Exelon-owned Baltimore Gas and Electric, whose prices jumped an additional $32 per month on average in September.

These higher costs are driven in large part by new neighbors in Northern Virginia: the world’s biggest cluster of nondescript, power-hungry data centers. Data centers have powered the internet for years, but with the rise of artificial intelligence, they are projected to need eye-popping amounts of power, along with costly infrastructure upgrades to deliver it. A 2024 report by the US Department of Energy estimated that data centers would use between 6.7 and 12% of the nation’s electricity by 2028...

  • Why data centers are driving up costs:

Watch: Blue Origin rocket successfully lands booster for first time

Blue Origin, the space company owned by Jeff Bezos, has successfully launched its New Glenn rocket from Florida.

The rocket was carrying two Nasa spacecraft deployed towards Mars. The Escapade satellites will take 22 months to reach Mars and will orbit the planet to measure its atmosphere and magnetic field. The reusable booster powering New Glenn also separated from the rocket's upper stage and touched down on a floating landing pad in the Atlantic Ocean, in a successful first for Blue Origin.

Elon Musk's SpaceX had been the only to accomplish this feat until now.

Interim Parliamentary Budget Officer takes aim at Liberal accounting, but says budget sustainable

Budget watchdog report says defining what is a capital expense should be left to 'an independent expert body'

Days before MPs are set to cast their vote on the Liberal budget, interim Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) Jason Jacques is calling the government’s accounting into question, suggesting there’s a less than 10 per cent chance it will stay within its deficit targets. Despite that criticism, the report contrasts with Jacques's September comments that Canada’s spending is “unsustainable” and “shocking”: he now says that according to the PBO’s own framework, the government’s finances, while tight, are sustainable over the long term.

The report saves its harshest criticism for the way Finance Canada changed the way it reports deficit financing by separating out capital from operational spending...

Desperate parents needing baby formula turn to online strangers as Canadian prices nearly double since 2017

Formula 'one of the most stolen food products in Canada... something is terribly wrong,' says researcher

Cassandra Shedden has sometimes had to rummage around her home, looking for things to hawk, just to pay for baby formula. The 33-year-old mother of three in Thunder Bay, Ont., describes the price of formula today as “gross.”

According to Statistics Canada, formula prices have climbed nearly 84 per cent since 2017 and about 30 per cent in just the last two years. "Sometimes you're trying to choose between bills and feeding your kids," said Shedden.

She added she'd make minimum payments on bills or try to top up her Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) money and other government income by earning a few extra dollars driving for a delivery service — all to ensure her baby’s bottle is full of formula and her children are fed...

That's about it for the 💩 💩 📰 for today, 🌄 thank you for reading The News.

~ Take a Break Time, kick my shoes off, then sit in my comfortable couch recliner with my cup of afternoon tea. I was sick again this morning, just the same as the world seems to be out of whack or out of sync right now, how people treat others as if they were worthless nothings.

I do get my feathers ruffled, but I never stay mad for long; it saddens and upsets me that people can be so cruel to one another. But I don't want to dwell on it for long; it hurts too much. I pray as I wipe away a latent tear from my right eye, not from the bad memories, but from the memories of past times when the sun shone brightly in my life, pleasant memories. The child within me is weary and needs to rest for a while. Seee you all later 👋 ❤️ 🌺~

TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

I may not be sharing much news today because I thought this topic could be of critical value for someone. To give this topic at least an honest thought.

TODAY'S TOPIC:

Empathy & Indigo:

I began this argument back in 2000.

- Google Search -

None of the following is or has ever been a scientifically proven fact to be addressed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, used for the diagnosis of brain disorders. Psychiatric charts utilize a wide range of standardized descriptors to assess a patient's mental status, symptoms, and overall odd or different functioning than normal.

That's the problem with proving things that can only be felt within the person, "feeling it, then forming a mental image of the observed concept from what your imagination forms from the not just observed information, but also felt, like an octopus feeling the outside edges of its prey with its tentacles before squeezing. This process happens in the blink of an eye. Like the hero or heroin saving the child from getting run over by the bus, yes, an instinct, you don't have time to think, or twitch in your clothes, you have to react instantly. Don't worry about how? Not until it's already done.

- Google Search -

Empaths:

Empaths are highly sensitive individuals who can deeply feel other people's emotions, are often intuitive and introverted, and become drained by crowds and intense environments. They have a strong connection to nature, which helps them recharge, and they are also deeply connected to animals.*My feelings are finally attuned to all the details in the natural world that many can't see or feel.

My Personal Experience:

I didn't even know there was a name for anything like what I felt, except for ESP, extra-sensory perception. And if you mentioned that word back in the day, everyone would have looked at you strangely, as if they were expecting antennas to grow out of the back of your head.

So I kept it to myself and ignored it. Of course, that's another normal Trumpo the Orange Clown's reaction; shut it off! Like he pulls out his Colt .45 and shoots the TV. "That will fix the fake news," he says as he walks away, blowing the smoke from his six-shooter. Big Man! Then he disappears in a puff of dust, stage left, behind the curtains to wank like a nasty little sadistic kid.

"The announcer on the TV, on its dying signal, says, ' That should do it for the news tonight, folks." The announcer coughed and held his chest as the signal faded out. Then, the TV sits in the corner, spread-eagled, its screen shattered, spiderweb-like, with a hole in the center. Expectantly, I continued to watch with hope to see the spider 🕷 come out with its six shooters a blazin', as the smoke drifts lazily upwards, revealing the form of... "Wow! It's Spider Woman!" 🕷 👩‍🎤 The crowd shouts as she stands, statuesquely like a bright beacon at the center of the ruins of her enemy, who lies defeated at her feet.

At the bottom of the screen hung a relatively large tongue, lying limp on the floor, and a little arm sticking out from the side, with a small sign that read, "Ya Gots Me Boss!" That's OK in cartoons. I doubt AI could follow me in cartoon land, like Johnny Depp does. ☠️ about as dangerous as a stubbed toe.😄

I didn't begin to understand what empathy was, even though it was only skin deep, until I sobered up on my 47th birthday. 33 years of sobriety this year. Those 33 years have been the most incredible journey of my entire life—learning who I am inside, and what makes me who I am.

Some people attract animals. Anyone has the potential to be the flower for the honey bee, but they don't seem interested in visiting that part of themselves. They fear it, or they simply don't have it. I had a friend who loved all animals. She cared for stray and feral dogs and cats, and whenever I visited her place, they would flock around me. She couldn't understand why, because she fed them! Most domestic animals don't appear uncertain or show fear,

🐷 🐴 🐓 🦡 🐈 🐩 🦮 🐱 🦜 🐢 🐠

Not even the wild ones, such as birds, squirrels, raccoons, and skunks, etc.

🦔 🐭 🐰 🐿 🦊 🐮 🐦 🦆 🦅 🦉 🦝 🦌 🦨

The same with insects, even the stinging ones, but they don't sting, they just visit.

🐝 🐛 🐞 🐜 🪰 🪲 🪳 🦟 🦗 🦋 🕷 🦂 🪱 👾

Same with reptiles, they stop to visit, flick their forked or long, sticky tongues at you, just to look at you, then move on their way.

🦎 🐍 🐢 🐊 🐉 🦐 🦀 🐍 🦂 🐛 🐌 🐸

Animals, insects, reptiles, we have a mutual understanding: I won't hurt you if you don't hurt me. 🙇‍♀️

After all, I'm an Entomology enthusiast.

You may have heard of the Term Indigo Children.

Surely you already know what empathy and empath is?

Could the traits of an empath and an indigo be simply a by-product of the other? The same, just in a different evolutionary stage

- Google Search -

My own Observation on Empaths and Indigos:

Empaths and individuals with "indigo" traits share several similarities, primarily stemming from a high degree of sensitivity, intuition, and a strong awareness of energy and emotions. Many sources suggest that being an indigo often includes empathic qualities, creating a significant overlap in their characteristics... I can see where one could have borrowed from the other, and since the Indigo Children are relatively recent, there is nothing to prove scientifically except for parts of their traits having a similarity to those of the Empath.

- Google Search -

Empathy:

In a general psychological context, empathy itself is a real phenomenon, and some research suggests that how empathetic a person is might be partly influenced by genetics (such as the OXTR gene, which is associated with the hormone oxytocin)

- Google Search -

Indigo Child:

While many of the descriptions of "indigo children" include them being empathic, they are not the same concept. Empathy is a trait (which can be described as a spiritual "gift" in the New Age framework, or a psychological trait with a potential genetic component in a scientific one), while an "indigo child" is a specific identity within New Age beliefs, often associated with a mission to challenge existing systems.

Jeff Bezos-funded Blue Origin aims for Mars in the first big test of its New Glenn rocket

Blue Origin, the rocket company founded by Amazon multibillionaire Jeff Bezos, is set for another attempt to launch its towering New Glenn rocket on a mission that will mark its first major test.

Carrying a pair of satellites that are destined to take a long, winding trip to Mars, New Glenn is scheduled to take flight from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station during a launch window that runs from 2:57 to 4:25 p.m. ET Thursday. Blue Origin is expected to host a livestream of the event about 20 minutes prior to takeoff...

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Another cloudy, rainy morning, damp and cool, but that's okay. I'm going nowhere. I can sit in this lovely, warm room and look outside at the gloom, sticking my tongue out at it.

I feel much better than I did yesterday. I don't know what that was. Maybe I was picking up on all the negativity after the disappointment of the Democrats "caving" to the Republican Dunce Cadets. What appeared to be a capitulation by eight Democrats turned out to be something far less damaging. I might write about that soon.

Also, I forgot to do some math. It's a little over eight weeks until Congress must vote to fund government operations. If there is no agreement on funding, another shutdown may occur. I heard on MSNBC TV that the Dems could carry over the problem with the Obamacare tax credits to reduce the pain of the premium increases on its subscribers and reintroduce it in the next funding bill, which is on Jan 30, 2026

So it's not dead, for now, it is only lying dormant. The Dems now have a sleeping lion or a dead lion, depending on what they decide to do with this sleeping lion.

IF DEMS ARE NOT ASLEEP for the next eight weeks, they will have time to do something other than boost their image; it's already busted. For the Democrats, it should be like playing chess, studying the opponent, in this case, the opponent is none other than the Fat Orange Kink of Bizarromerica, the Land of the Slaves. The real trick is not just to cage. They must checkmate the Kink of Bizarromerica and identify the mastermind or minds, the engineers, and the puppeteers behind this crooked cross held by white men with crooked tongues, and see this crooked cross pandemic thing blow over.

Even then, which I doubt will happen that quickly, with the foot-dragging judges who will purposely go with the flow of the momentum to carry them over to the end of the statute of limitations, which will in turn carry us over the line, where everyone will feel the power of the crooked cross to varying degrees, not to mention some of who became victims of the epidemic of people falling off balconies. Don't forget that it was by your own choice,

👮‍♂️ 👩‍⚕️ 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾 👩‍🎓 👳‍♂️ 🧕 👨‍🦰 👶 👧 👼 🙋‍♀️ 💃 🕺 🧎‍♀️ 🏃‍♀️ 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦 👩 💁 💏 👩‍❤️‍👩 👭

"WE, THE PEOPLE CHOSE THIS ORANGE COCROACH FOR OUR LEADER, THEN WE *CHOSE TO ALLOW* THIS MESS!"

THEN JUST CHOSE TO SIT ON OUR HANDS AND MUMBLE OUR DISATISFACTION.

ALL I CAN SAY IS: GET OFF YOUR HANDS AND TAKE THE MASKING TAPE OFF YOUR MOUTH, and stick the tape where the sun doesn't shine, where whiteman is always white.* And you don't need Colgate! Maybe you need the Colgate after you took too much Milk of Magnesia

Me Not Whiteman, Not Injun, nor aboriginal, nor Enuit, nor Chinamen either, Newfoundlander, Not even of the species of Australopithecus which was ancestral to Homosapian, etc. Me MARTIAN! 🟠 👽 I believe we are ancestral to the species, the Sandworms of Tatooine. -Star Wars- 🪐 🏜 🐉

Epstein mentioned Trump multiple times in private emails, new release shows

Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender whose death by suicide has spawned intense scrutiny of the high-profile people he knew, mentioned Donald Trump by name multiple times in private correspondence over the last 15 years with an associate and an author in Trump’s orbit, according to newly released emails from Democrats on the House Oversight Committee.

The emails to longtime Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of sex trafficking after Epstein’s death, and the author Michael Wolff include conversations in which Epstein asserts Trump spent significant time with a woman whom Oversight Democrats describe as a victim of Epstein’s sex trafficking.

The emails also include a message in which Epstein asserts Trump “knew about the girls” — seemingly in reference to Trump’s claim that he kicked Epstein out of his Mar-a-Lago club for poaching young women who worked there, according to the newly released emails.

The emails were released Wednesday by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee, who obtained them after subpoenaing Epstein’s estate earlier this year. Trump did not receive or send any of the messages, which largely predated his time as president, and he has not been accused of any criminal wrongdoing in connection with Epstein or Maxwell.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt criticized Democrats on the House Oversight Committee for releasing the messages, claiming the members “selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump.” ...

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, I don't have much for the News today. To start, I had a peculiarly weird morning. I felt somewhat disoriented and was literally bouncing off things, so I decided to go back to bed. It was snowing, and the last memory I had was of thinking of saying to Bobbie McGee, my imaginary friend, "Please turn off the day and hang up my hat on the peg on your way out the door. Thank you."

I didn't get up until 9:30 a.m., and was still reluctant to do so, seeing it was still flaking some flakes of snow outside. It felt so alluring to just remain under the Bear, in my nice warm bed. I call my nice furry blanket "The Bear." I am doing OK now, but I'm getting a late start to who knows where?.*_

Now it appears I have somehow lost my topic of the day, so, for now, it's a huntin' we will go.

Well, I guess my manuscript went by-bys. Like my head, fart in a mitt. 💨 🧤 Poof! 🤣 "Kapootskie! Gone with the wind!" 🌬 Eh! Perhaps this is a good day for Old Farts DAY OFF. 👴 (‿ˠ‿) 💨

What is the latest with the*_ *Canadian budget?* So far: An air sandwich. 🪽 🥪

Reopening of the American Government: why bother, the ratfink has three months to kill more of it, another air sandwich, unless the Democrats use those two months to their advantage. Otherwise, it's just another air sandwich. 🪽 🥪 We have enough air sandwiches since the Orange Pus Bag 😡 🫟 🧳 has some half-assed (_1/2_) notion to replace all the aircraft at all airports and go Airsandwich 🪽 🥪 Travel instead. or (‿I

Now, about:

Ontario, Hiring American Doctors.

Is Ontario serious about this, or is this just another air sandwich?

With the academic year already underway and the application window half-way through, international medical graduates have already initiated the process for this match at significant expense and time-commitment. These applicants are already Canadian citizens or permanent residents residing in Canada and often work in healthcare. At a time when every effort is being made to attract more family physicians, the abrupt policy change for IMGs will destabilize family medicine programs in Ontario. The government is urged to postpone this ill-timed policy.

With this solution mindset, we urge the Ontario government to reassess these restrictive measures until further consultation can be conducted properly and an appropriate evaluation of the unintended consequences can be completed.

TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good Morning! May Great Spirit bless 🙏

Not a good morning weather-wise; it's cloudy, with a mix of rain and snow, grey, gloomy, damp, and cold. The heat in the building went out yesterday afternoon, and I took out my little micro heater, which I had only used once since it was new, when we were living in B.C. about ten years ago. We also have a large floor model electric heater, which would have been overkill last night. That micro heater kept the entire living room and kitchen comfortably warm all evening. It works as advertised. I can run that one on the Solar Generator if need be.

I also have two Coleman heaters, a lamp, and a Coleman stove for backup in case the hydro goes out. Bought another small Solar Generator battery pack, about the size of two Kleenex boxes put together, which is suitable for running an electric blanket and other small electrical appliances, such as an electric toothbrush, or any other personal electric appliance, and a light, either one of the portable rechargeable lights or the type that plugs into the generator. The small light is ideal for use in the bedroom and bathroom.

So anyway, that is how you can turn an ordinary apartment into a real-life survival shelter for only a couple of thousand dollars. And please note: The fewer people who know about your private shelter, the better and safer you will be.

Democratic unity fractures, paving the way for the government to reopen

Enough Democrats caved.

A Sunday night Senate deal may be on the verge of resolving the longest government shutdown on record — after a group of moderate Democrats dropped their key demand — a guaranteed extension of Obamacare subsidies.

The agreement opened the way for a Senate vote in which eight Democratic defectors voted to break the filibuster and to clear the first hurdle to reopening the government after nearly six weeks. Their move will offer relief to millions of Americans whose lives have been severely disrupted by the shutdown. But the compromise was opposed by some key party leaders and is already igniting a firestorm of protests from progressives who accuse their more moderate colleagues of disastrously backing down, handing President Donald Trump a victory, and turning their backs on millions of Americans who can't afford spiking health care premiums.

  • A 'political disaster':
  • Trump didn't cave, but he may have badly damaged his brand anyway:

A political disaster, they say? It was more like a HOBSON'S CHOICE!

- Google Search -

"Hobson's choice" is a situation where there is a free choice, but only one option is actually available

Now we have a dead Political Party on our hands. The democratic Party no longer exists; it has just taken the gas pipe. 💨 🪈

Well, I'm sorry to say, that this *is* a POLITICAL DISASTER! I fear the Democrats have fought their last battle and have lost. Any hope now of having any kind of normalcy in the US has just been shot up the butt by the cowardly Dems.

Now EVERYONE BOWS DOWN TO THE NICE UGLY 💩 FACED wanna be DICTATOR. EVERYONE PLEASE BOW DOWN to the nice ugly Fat Orange-Pus-Bag, evil narcissist, psychopathic, sadistic, sick, apathetic, selfish, mass murdering pedophiles. And I guess you guys in the US are still in love with these CARRION MEAT-EATING Vampire Vultures. 🦇

YOU, CANADA 🍁 if you, all of the provinces, don't begin working together and establish a stable commerce among yourselves and with other nations, all other nations, EXCEPT THE US, we will fail! WE are not working hard enough to distance ourselves from them. The more we "F" around with them, the more we will get sucked in slowly by the wake of their already sinking nation south of us. Titanic is sinking while Carney rearranges the deck chairs, one at a time, while that Black Hole across the border keeps on a suckin'. Too much squabbling among provinces and NOT ENOUGH ACTION. AND A BIG "F!" on the "F'n" money it will cost. Pay whatever is necessary to keep the country afloat!

What we spend will pay back dividends, especially our freedom of thought and action, which no one can put a price tag on, as well as love and caring for one another. That is what is much more critical for our survival, not money; you can't eat money. If the monetary system is failing, then we need to develop a new system.

Supreme Court declines to revisit landmark same-sex marriage precedent

The Supreme Court on Monday declined an opportunity to overturn its landmark precedent recognizing a constitutional right to same-sex marriage, tossing aside an appeal that had roiled LGBTQ advocates who feared the conservative court might be ready to revisit the decade-old decision.

Instead, the court denied an appeal from Kim Davis, the former Kentucky county clerk who now faces hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages and legal fees for refusing to issue marriage licenses after the court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges allowed same-sex couples to marry. The court did not explain its reasoning to deny the appeal, which had received outsized attention – in part because the court’s 6-3 conservative majority three years ago overturned Roe v. Wade and the constitutional right to abortion that 1973 decision established. Since then, fears about Obergefell being the precedent to fall have grown.

“Today, love won again,” said Kelley Robinson, president of the Human Rights Campaign. “When public officials take an oath to serve their communities, that promise extends to everyone – including LGBTQ+ people. The Supreme Court made clear today that refusing to respect the constitutional rights of others does not come without consequences.” ...

The Latest:

Canada has lost its measles elimination status, the Public Health Agency of Canada says.

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) notified PHAC that Canada no longer holds its status.

Since the fall of 2024, Canada has recorded more than 5,000 measles cases in nine provinces and one territory.

Canada can re-establish its measles elimination status once the current outbreak is interrupted for at least 12 months.

  • A 'giant wakeup call':

What does losing this status mean for Canada? Infectious disease specialist Dr. Isaac Bogoch believes the consequences are twofold: it "bruises" the country's public health reputation and "it's a giant wake-up call that we have gaps in our public health infrastructure."

Over Claims Of Extortion

Peterson Spring court filing claims it can’t afford to ship parts below cost to produce them in Woodstock

Stellantis and one of its Canadian auto suppliers are battling in court over the price of brake rotors in a dispute that threatens to shutter multiple auto assembly plants in the U.S. Peterson Spring says in a court filing it can’t afford to ship the parts to the automaker at a price it claims is below the cost to produce them at its facility in Woodstock, Ont.

Lawyers for Stellantis claim the supplier has threatened to stop shipping parts if the automaker does not pay twice the contracted price, equivalent to a $ 77 million annual increase. Canada will start dispute resolution process over Stellantis jobs lost to U.S., Joly says

What do you think about that can of worms? It looks like the backstabber got backstabbed back in the back when he came back to get the dull buttrknife from his backpack to backstab the backstabber... see

NOTHING IS GOING TO MAKE SENSE UNTIL WE, the People, get rid of this flag with the funny cross, those who are holding it up and waving it about like a dead skunk. I hope the stick is made of rough wood with a lot of slivers when they get the command to shove it up their BUTTHOLES AND SWIVEL!

I HEREBY SWEAR: I came into this world a free soul, a peace-time baby, June 30, 1945. My first mate served in Vietnam, and my home was on both sides of the border. Now, I am no longer safe to go to America, my second home. LEAVE ME IN PEACE HERE IN MY OWN HOME, ya bunch of clod-hoppin', bigoted, blood thirsty pigs, wallowing in 💩 in the seventh circle of Hell! May you ALL GO TO THE SEVENTH CIRCLE OF HELL up to your NOSES IN! 💩 Leave me to go the way I came - FREE! You cannot kill the Heart ❤️ of an Empath. Many have tried.

_*From my perch, it appears that there are a lot of wishy washy people in the world, who believe everything they hear, like an audience at a theater watching a ping pong game. If ya don't know what is right and wrong, it's because you don't have a heart to feel it with. I could go on and on, get on my knees, and pray while crying an ocean, which I do at least once every day, with no mumbling words, but saying those words from the Heart. I pray for the freedom, well-being, happiness, and for smiles on people's faces, THAT'S WHAT'S RIGHT! Everything else is questionable. Get the people on the Titanic first, before rearranging the deck chairs.
