Great Spirit bless πŸ™

Good Morning ♪♫♭。♪˚♬π„ž Well, at least it's a clear blue sky out there. I even had a chance to sit out in my Green Space πŸƒ with my coffee ☕️ to greet the rising sun 🌞 The air was cool, but I had the presence of mind to wear my jacket. With the warmth of the sun on my cheek, I closed my eyes and felt the warmth not only on my cheek and on my jacket, but everywhere inside, like the warmth a babe feels in its mother's arms. I love that feeling of complete comfort and peace.

It's getting to be a rarity that I don't feel discomfort in the abdominal area, discomfort associated with my stomach ailments. I ain't going to list them, it's too long. To keep it short, an ailing, aging stomach, and not to mention other aches and pains in the arse associated with... You guessed it... OLD AGE wins first prize!

Personal Prayer:

Thank you, Great Spirit, for everything, and I do appreciate the times of peace, the times I feel nothing. I call those times my National Feel Nothing Times, or my -Islands Of Peace - 🏝️ ⚡️πŸ’₯🏝️⚡️πŸ’₯🏝️ Although some would probably call it wool-gathering.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

SAGGING MOODS

Question: Sagging or low moods from the growing world gloom?

πŸ”ΉAI Overview

Feeling low due to the "growing gloom" over the world often described as eco-anxiety, global fatigue, or "doomscrolling" fatigue—is a widespread experience, with recent polls indicating nearly 70% of adults feel anxious about the state of the world. As of early 2026, experts suggest that while awareness of global issues is important, continuous exposure to negative news can lead to chronic anxiety, helplessness, and depression.

Question: Seasonal depression

πŸ”ΉAI Overview

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression occurring annually, typically starting in fall/winter and ending in spring, driven by reduced sunlight affecting circadian rhythms and brain chemistry. Symptoms include low energy, oversleeping, weight gain, carbohydrate cravings, and social withdrawal. Treatment often involves light therapy, counseling, and medication

I don't see any wool in there, not even sheep. What I see is lots of trails to follow, and I can only follow one at a time. For today, I would say the needle on the mood meter is pointing toward National Feel Nothing Time. Ain't I lucky, do I get the Cupie Doll? - πŸ‘Ά

Considering the world events today, a world in disarray, over one nutcase, YOU'RE NOT ALONE! and INSANITY DOESN'T MAKE SENSE?

Question: Intentional setting up disarray

πŸ”ΉAI Overview

Intentionally setting up disarray refers to the deliberate action of causing disorder, confusion, or chaos in a situation, environment, or set of plans. This action is often described as throwing something into disarray, overturning order, or creating a "shambles".

Maybe World Order and Population Control? Maybe even the Aryan Race thing again, you know, a race of blue eyes and blond hair, genius status, but what about the "Aborts!" eh! They're disposable; they're just genetic testing experiments gone wrong. Now, Hybrids are a step up. What about cyborgs? These are only a couple more possibilities. Or what about getting rid of the whole mess and just keeping making us robots then teach the robots to make more robots. πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–X by πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–= πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–πŸ€–16 little robots and so on. AND SO GOES THE WORLD

Trump says Iran has ‘not yet paid a big enough price’ as he reviews new peace proposal

President reviewing new peace plan as Iran Revolutionary Guard Corps says room for US decision-making "has narrowed."

Here's The Latest:

Peace proposal: US President Donald Trump said he can’t imagine a new peace plan from Iran he will review “would be acceptable,” adding they have not yet paid “a big enough price for what they have done.” Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said the room for US decision-making “has narrowed.”

Strait of Hormuz: Iran’s parliament is set to approve a law placing restrictions on which vessels can pass through the Strait of Hormuz, according to state media. The average cost of gas in the US rose to $4.45 a gallon on Saturday as the war continues to choke global oil supplies.

In Lebanon: The Israeli military has issued an urgent evacuation warning for multiple towns in southern Lebanon, including several north of the Litani River. Two of the areas are north of the band of territory occupied by Israeli forces.

The Supreme Court keeps overturning precedent. It swears that it’s not

As the Supreme Court was barreling toward the final weeks of its term last year, Chief Justice John Roberts made a rare public appearance to defend his colleagues from criticism that they were all too eager to kick decades-old precedent to the curb.

Still bruising from anger on the left over the court’s monumental decision three years earlier to overturn Roe v. Wade, Roberts rattled off a series of stats underscoring that his court — the Roberts court — had taken aim at far fewer precedents than any of its modern predecessors, an average of less than two “overrulings” each year.

“I think people have a misunderstanding about how much the current court is overruling precedent,” Roberts told an audience at Georgetown University Law Center. But just 10 days after he walked offstage, the Supreme Court let stand President Donald Trump’s firing of two senior labor officials despite a 1935 precedent known as Humphrey’s Executor that for decades has protected the leaders of independent agencies from dismissal by a president without cause...

Bunch of HYPOCRIT PIG πŸ’©S!

In March 2025, 10 Senate Democrats voted to advance a government funding bill and avoid a government shutdown. Responding to furious Democratic voters who felt betrayed, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer said, “a shutdown would be 10 or 20 times worse.” Six months later, seven Democrats and independent Sen. Angus King voted to end a 40-day stalemate. Had the shutdown continued, Sen. Tim Kaine, one of those seven, argued, “I do not believe Republicans would have conceded on health care.”

What a difference a few months make. The House of Representatives suddenly passed a bill to reopen the Department of Homeland Security on Thursday, ending a 76-day funding standoff. The legislation funds all of DHS with two exceptions: Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Customs and Border Patrol. Instead, Republicans will fund ICE and CBP separately through the budget reconciliation process, without the cover of Democratic votes.

As the federal government embarks on launching a national sovereign wealth fund, Ottawa could seek lessons from the handling of Alberta’s fund to help ensure it becomes a success. Alberta launched its sovereign wealth fund decades ago, but provincial governments regularly dipped their hands into the account, which is why the bank balance failed to meaningfully grow.

The new Canada Strong Fund will have an initial $25-billion contribution from the federal government and will allow Canadians to individually contribute with all the funds earmarked to help build major projects in the country, while turning a profit too, the government claims...

'Build from the ashes’: Fort McMurray reflects on how community has changed since 2016 wildfire

Mayor, fire chief say community ready to move forward but mindful of what happened

Ten years after fleeing her burning Fort McMurray neighbourhood through gridlocked traffic, Alexis Gale still finds herself packing a to-go bag as soon as the winter snow begins to melt.

For Gale, who lost her home during the 2016 Horse River Wildfire, the anniversary is a reminder of the confusion of the evacuation and the stress of rebuilding her home. The melting snow reminds her it’s time to be ready with her emergency supplies and important documents, just in case. “Thinking about it, it’s really hard and I get a lot of anxiety. … I always feel like we’re in survival mode ever since the fire,” she said...
