TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

It's a bit chilly out there this morning, 23° F, but no snow; there's snow all around us except the good old Peninsula. It's 2:15 AM, and here I am sitting in the corner of the couch with my laptop, typing out the news, well, at least until I get sleepy enough to sleep, and continue later this morning. Physically, I feel good, no discomfort, just not tired.

So here I am doing what floats my boat. There was a hole in the boat, and it wouldn't float, so I had to get Mrs. Holt, the old goat, to hold the rope so we wouldn't sink. But here I stand as the boat sinks and I go slowly under with the flow, I salute as I sing

"O CANADA OUR HOME AND NATIVE LAND!" ♪♫♭🍁

Had a strange thought go through my mind, yeah, that happens frequently. But this one just wouldn't simply register itself in my memory bank until later in the morning.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

"PLEASE READ THROUGH AND WATCH THE VIDEO."

Not just read, feel it.

THE BIG BANG

Or, how many big bangs?

Multiverses?

If the multiverses were stacked like a deck of cards, which card are we on

- Google Search -

Dark energy expanding till it creates another big bang.

Dark energy currently drives accelerating expansion, but some theories, like the Big Bounce or oscillating universe models, suggest dark energy could change, causing contraction (a "Big Crunch") followed by another Big Bang, creating a cosmic cycle, though current data suggests eternal expansion might be more likely unless dark energy's properties shift significantly.

Actual and potential infinity

In the philosophy of mathematics, the abstraction of actual infinity, also called completed infinity,[1] involves infinite entities as given, actual, and completed objects. Actual infinity is to be contrasted with potential infinity, in which an endless process (such as "add 1 to the previous number") produces a sequence with no last element, and where each individual result is finite and is achieved in a finite number of steps. This type of process occurs in mathematics, for instance, in standard formalizations of the notions of mathematical induction, infinite series, infinite products, and limits.[2]

The concept of actual infinity was introduced into mathematics near the end of the 19th century by Georg Cantor with his theory of infinite sets, and was later formalized into Zermelo–Fraenkel set theory. This theory, which is presently commonly accepted as a foundation of mathematics, contains the axiom of infinity, which means that the natural numbers form a set (necessarily infinite). A great discovery of Cantor is that, if one accepts infinite sets, then there are different sizes (cardinalities) of infinite sets, and, in particular, the cardinal of the continuum of the real numbers is strictly larger than the cardinal of the natural numbers...

Information Is Never Lost

The statement "information is never lost" refers to a fundamental principle in quantum mechanics that is central to the black hole information paradox, a major scientific debate that physicist Brian Cox discusses extensively in his work.

The Black Hole Information Paradox

Quantum Theory Principle: The laws of quantum mechanics state that information about the quantum state of particles can never be completely lost or destroyed, only transformed. This is a cornerstone of modern physics.

- Google Search -

Brian Cox's information is never lost, if you burn a newspaper

That statement is a quote often attributed to physicist Brian Cox. He used this as a simple illustration of the laws of physics regarding information conservation.

The idea is that although the meaning of the words is destroyed for a human reader, all the physical information—the energy, the chemical composition of the ash and smoke, and the heat releasedis dispersed but fundamentally preserved in the universe. If one could theoretically track every single particle, one could (in principle) reverse the process and reconstruct the original newspaper.

Information, quantum mechanics, big band, and infinite potentialities: the micro- or quantum-verses creating a new Big Bang or an infinity of them either by inflation or deflation of the multiverses. This one we live in is only one layer, one card out of a deckful. The one we call the present. What about all the other cards in the deck of infinity, past and present?

Thank you, Brian Cox, for adding more pieces to the puzzle.

Back before computers, it may have taken me a good part of a day in a library to find all this information, but it's there for the looking.

And here we are mucking about in the mud down here like a bunch of knuckle-dragging Neanderthals slinging 💩 at each other, instead of harmonizing, being one with nature, all those beautiful harmonics and colors, the wonderful, glorious, amazing, stunning, overwhelming, and awe-inspiring experience of discovering what awaits us in the multiverses.

Exclusive: Survivors clinging to capsized boat didn’t radio for backup, admiral overseeing double-tap strike tells lawmakers

The two men killed as they floated holding onto their capsized boat in a secondary strike against a suspected drug vessel in early September did not appear to have radio or other communications devices, the top military official overseeing the strike told lawmakers on Thursday, according to three sources with direct knowledge of his congressional briefings.

As far back as September, defense officials have been quietly pushing back on criticism that killing the two survivors amounted to a war crime by arguing, in part, that they were legitimate targets because they appeared to be radioing for help or backup — reinforcements that, if they had received it, could have theoretically allowed them to continue to traffic the drugs aboard their sinking ship.

Defense officials made that claim in at least one briefing in September for congressional staff, according to a source familiar with the session, and several media outlets cited officials repeating that justification in the last week. But Thursday, Adm. Frank “Mitch” Bradley acknowledged that the two survivors of the military’s initial strike...

Anxiety grips Minneapolis’s Somali community as immigration agents zero in on the Twin Cities

Minneapolis

Everything seemed normal at Minneapolis’s Somali markets: Men sat in barber chairs, women browsed colorful garments at the boutiques and patrons sampled fried sambusas and rice dishes at the eateries, sometimes as the Muslim call to prayer was sung at low volume over the loudspeakers.

But beneath the calm surface, a quiet anxiety was palpable. Pockets and purses hung a little heavier with immigration documents and passports as the specter of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown loomed over the gathering spots for the Somali diaspora in the Twin Cities – home to the nation’s largest population of people from the East African country...

Investors fear an AI bubble. What about computer scientists?

Transformative tech is real, experts say, but we may still be in a short-term bubble

Fears of an AI bubble overlook where tech experts believe a lot of real value in the AI economy will come from: not large language models themselves, but in what we'll build on top of them. It's early days, but we're already starting to see useful applications. Already, AI can help you code, detect spam for you and, perhaps controversially, generate increasingly realistic videos on the spot.

Those in the tech industry compare it to the internet: a general-purpose technology that will generate real economic value from innovations built to work with it. And yet, fears are mounting that this potential revolution is built on an expensive bubble. Valuations are high, and four Silicon Valley giants alone are expected to spend an eye-watering $400 billion US on AI this year. But beyond the stock market nerves, what do actual computer scientists think of the prospects for AI?...

  • AI as the foundation of a new economy:
  • Winners and losers:
  • So, are we in a bubble or not?:

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲**

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

I am still feeling weak, but at least my stomach is behaving. I was up and about as usual, doing my daily morning rituals. I don't know how much energy I'll have for anything else today, except right now to do the News and get my butt in the bathtub sometime today. I need to get off this liquid diet and onto more solid nutrition, but neither my stomach nor my gums are ready for that yet. As for how much weight I lost during this bout, I have not stepped on a scale since before I got sick, that's... I forgot how long ago. And now I'm almost afraid to step on it again.

Well, I took my pills, and I am now going to empty the dishwasher and make the coffee.

🙏 ~ PRAYER ~ 🙏

May we take this moment of silence, prayer, and meditation that

THE LAW AND JUSTICE OF THE LAND and the heart and the light of the people be returned to them.

I just got back in my nest here on the couch after weighing myself: 106 lbs. I've lost 14 lbs since my last weigh-in. 120 lbs should be my normal weight. I guess I have some exercising to do, too, when I get a bit stronger.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION

THE HEALTH SYSTEM

_*My Pet Peeve Of The Day*_

Just what is happening here in Canada with our health system? Are we, the provinces and government of CANADA, copying the same health care system as the US? NO HEALTH CARE FOR THE WORKING CLASS, AND THE WAGE-EARNING POOR because their federal government sees them as unimportant NON-PERSONS?

Doctors are leaving the US IN droves to continue their professions elsewhere because, according to one clown 🤡 in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services, now known as... The Loony Bin, or The Trash Bin, says nobody needs vaccines and injections anymore, people don't get sick anymore, they're not allowed to.

And here we are, with rural hospitals closing down, emergency rooms closing, a shortage of family doctors, specialists getting scarce to the point it can take up to a year to see one. WHERE T.G.H. ARE THE AMERICAN DOCTORS?

Learn how American-educated health care workers can work and practice in Ontario, Canada immediately.

Bring your skills to Ontario — start working right away

If you're a U.S.-licensed physician, nurse practitioner, registered nurse, practical nurse, or medical or health researcher, it's easier than ever to start working in our health care system.

Thanks to new rules, physicians and nurses can begin working in health settings in Ontario, Canada, immediately for up to 6 months while you complete your registration. This fast-track process removes a significant barrier and helps you get started without delay.

We've also expanded where you can work. Previously, U.S.-licensed professionals were limited to hospitals and long-term care homes. Now, you can also practice in:

  • primary care clinics
  • home and community care
  • community laboratories

The two-year high school requirement is a new rule from the Ontario government for international medical graduates (IMGs) to be eligible for the first round of medical residency matches in the province. This policy change, which went into effect in October 2025, has been criticized for potentially excluding many immigrant physicians and Canadians who went to medical school abroad, as they now must have completed at least two years of high school in Ontario to apply for the first round of residency spots. The goal is to prioritize Ontario-educated candidates for residency programs, but critics argue it will worsen the doctor shortage by making it harder for qualified IMGs to enter the system, notes CBC and

-OrilliaMatters-com-

Who it affects: This rule primarily impacts internationally trained doctors and Canadian citizens who completed their medical degrees outside of Canada, especially those who did not attend an Ontario high school.

The Ontario Medical Association (OMA) has expressed concern about the potential negative consequences for the healthcare system.

What it's meant to achieve: The government states the change is intended to prioritize graduates of Ontario's high schools for residency spots, although the policy's overall impact remains debated.

No, American-trained doctors are generally not required to have two years of high school in Ontario. However, recent policies have created new requirements for internationally trained doctors applying for residency in Ontario, which can impact some U.S. medical graduates depending on the residency match process. For licensing purposes, U.S.-certified doctors can often obtain a full independent license with no additional certifications or examinations required. However, the new residency application rules for 2026 require international medical graduates, including some U.S. graduates, to complete high school for the first round of the R-1 residency match.

I think there is a tremendously big kink in this pipe, and no one has bothered to address it or repair it.

I pray that if I'm right, that regulation was set up for international student doctors, not DOCTORS IMIGRATING from the U.S.

OK! I hope. Clear as mud, eh!. 🫟 It's sometimes easier to bring the whole classroom to the students instead of just the blackboards.

I can understand this two-year high school thing, especially if you are going to work in the medical department, you need to communicate in the official language; miscommunication could cost someone's life. If you're going to fly an Alien Space Craft, you'd better learn the local dialect. It may not mean the same as what's written below the red button.

Well, folks, it seems that all we have to eat so far at this poker table are fart sandwiches. (‿ˠ‿) 💨 🥪 At least they're a little more nutritious than air sandwiches 🌬️ 🥪

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, boys and girls, here I am sitting on the couch checking through the groups while waiting for the coffee. I got up this morning with a short wave of my GERD acting up, and it passed over after a couple of minutes, and I made the sign of the cross. It was only a typical episode of GERD and not exacerbated by another condition, such as COVID-19. Last time, COVID-19, the flu, the appendix, or the damned teeth. I hope that's the end of it, or it will be the end of me.

It's cloudy, grey, and gloomy out, but it's nice and bright like it's sunny in here. Two LED floor lamps in the living room, a Click and Grow garden, and the two LED ceiling lights in the kitchen and dining room are bright. LED lights that don't draw much power, even in continuous use. Brightness keeps Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) away.

What also helps is that my balcony is green all year round, with, of course, a fake coconut tree and palm plant, flowers, and even Astroturf. When, in the winter, it's bright and sunny and windless, I can go out in a light jacket to sit and sip my coffee. That's one way to go to the Bahamas, in Canada, without leaving home. Oh G-d, am I ever grateful I never moved to the US. I almost did a few times. And I also say G-d bless to all the friends and acquaintances I met when I was there.

You know what? Out of the ten years + I spent on the road when I was younger, I NEVER met a single person who didn't treat me kindly. Damned friendly people, especially in Tennessee. That's where I spent most of my time. Of course, I never had any problems with any of the Native Americans either. I even lived on the res occasionally, in Canada or the US. Didn't matter.

The Ojibwa people, my adopted people, Metis, called me (Manidoonaateshing-ikwe), the turtle lady, because I had my home on my back, my camper, and truck. They do have a great sense of humor, and I love humor. So that's a good indication there are wonderfully friendly people in both the US and CANADA, and anywhere if you look for them. Everyone LOVES a COMEDIAN unless they have a few screws loose in their attic lightbulb.

Well, this ends another chapter in my Online Diary. I enjoy sharing my experiences with the world and hope my writing leaves a message someone can take home. Thank you for dropping by the Tree House News Room.

May G-d bless you all.

What Defines a Comedian?

A comedian is a professional entertainer whose primary job is to make people laugh through various means of humor, such as telling jokes, funny stories, or performing comical acts. This often involves developing original material, honing a unique persona, and engaging with an audience.

"Done That Already! Does that mean St. Peter will be mad at me?"

And believe me, the more you do it, it becomes like a habit, so, ya know how habits go, it's like an urge to pick your nose in public. The more practice, the more honed it becomes. 😉 👍

Like. "SNAPS 🫰 !" Think fast!"

And so it was with me and any honky tonk bar with karaoke that I came across. Just me and my (mikinaak,) turtle. Never thought of it, but I could probably produce a book or a movie about just those ten years. If you're planning this kind of life, be prepared to work all sorts of odd jobs and just don't ask questions. Even picking aluminum scrap alongside the interstates can buy a meal and gas.

I AM too old NOW TO TURN TO A COMMUNIST way of life. What life? No pensions. They don't have pensions there in RUSSIA; you don't work, you eat tree bark. A lady living by herself in patched-up clothes was living in a shack in what appeared to be a garbage dump; it seemed like somewhere in the middle of the bush, it made me sick to my stomach, and it stuck in my mind. Costco is poking the Trump bear

Big public companies have mostly treated President Donald Trump with kid gloves during his second term. They’ve quietly avoided conflict while seeking favor with ornate gifts, large donations to his pet projects and strategic deployments of CEOs to the Oval Office.

That’s what made Costco’s decision last week to sue the Trump administration so shocking. Costco on Friday filed a lawsuit that contends Trump overstepped his emergency powers by imposing sweeping tariffs – and claimed the company is due a refund.

Costco isn’t alone. A handful of other companies have separately sued the government on similar grounds, including Bumble Bee Foods, Ray-Bans parent EssilorLuxottica, Revlon and Kawasaki Motors. But Costco is the highest profile public company to do battle with the Trump White House on tariffs.

Few major corporations have been willing to publicly stick their necks out to combat Trump’s policies since he took office in January. That stands in contrast to his first term, when businesses and their leaders felt more comfortable speaking out – most notably when multiple CEOs quit his business council over comments Trump made in 2017 that downplayed neo-Nazi violence in Charlottesville, Virginia...

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

I have survived to see another day. I'm feeling much better than I have for some time now. I only pray that the curse has been lifted and stays away. From what I saw of my face in the mirror, I think I'll stay home till mid-April before I am in public again. I was expecting there would still be some post-operative lumps to contend with, and I was right. I have other mending to do, especially after all of those years of having my stomach ravaged by some wild beast, it would seem at times.

So I am not surprised there would be collateral problems, like irregularity and gas cramps. Even my urinary system has been affected. The GERD and my bad teeth were slowly destroying all my innards. Talk about battery acid for blood! So now I expect the occasional passing stomach discomfort, like gas cramps and occasional flare-ups of regular upset stomach, can be expected, which I can handle. It's the constant 24 - 7 nausea I can't take anymore, and I pray I never get that close to the precipice of Hell again.

Enough of that dull stuff.

May the Great Spirit bless those who are here today. I pray you all be safe, happy, and blessed. 👼🙏

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

SURVIVAL:

The Battle of survival is also a battle of the will. When I began the Battle, I experienced what it was like to have a good-paying job and a good bank account to go along with it. I had all the toys I could wish to have, I probably could have come up with enough to purchase the Azzam, world's longest private yacht, if I really wanted to, but I settled for a twenty-five-foot cabin cruiser and an 18-foot cedar strip speed boat with a 40 hp Johnson motor and forty-five acres of lake shore property a trailer park and three homes and the best machine one could buy back then my 1975 GMC 350 V-8 four wheel drive and a vintage 1968 Pontiac Parisian 350 V-8 engine. I lost it all, all of it, and the spouse, the house, the kids, and all. The only thing I owned when I left home was the clothes I was wearing.

37-year-old on the street. I rebuilt my life from the bottom of the hole back up into the sunlight above; that is not to say I didn't bring some wounds back with me; I have just tended to my wounds. It's not easy: When you are at the bottom. If you desire to climb back out of that hole, you dig a handhold, then move up a notch. There will be times when you make the wrong choice, the notch lets go, and you're at the bottom again. This may happen several times before you learn to take a different approach to reach the same destination. Or you did get to the destination, but not in the way you expected.

Falling happens, but if you keep fighting, the bottom seems less deep to get out of, thank G-D. for that. But you have to want to, and you do what you do to the best of your ability. Going after what's in your heart may mean dedicating some time to reach that goal, taking some quiet time to pray and meditate, and BELIEVE! You will get there if you persist. If your heart isn't into it, you'll stay stuck on some level in self-pity with a victim's view of life.

BREAKING NEWS:

Trump is threatening to attack a country with more oil than Iraq

The United States appears ready for war with Venezuela, a prospect that Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro this weekend attributed to America’s desire to control the country’s vast oil reserves.

The US State Department has denied that oil played a central role in America’s military sending more than a dozen warships and 15,000 troops to the region – or that oil is behind President Donald Trump’s warnings that land strikes could be imminent and planes should avoid Venezuelan air space. Instead, the Trump administration says its military threats are part of America’s effort to stop flows of undocumented migrants and illegal drugs from Venezuela.

Whatever the rationale behind the rapidly intensifying situation in the Caribbean, if regime change is coming to Venezuela, the largest proven oil reserve on Earth will play a central role in the country’s future...

Costco sues US government over tariff refunds ahead of Supreme Court ruling

New York

Costco has sued the US government to ensure it will receive refunds if the Supreme Court rejects President Donald Trump’s bid for sweeping authority to impose tariffs.

In a complaint filed Friday in the US Court of International Trade in Manhattan, Costco (COST) said Trump’s use of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act to impose tariffs left it uncertain whether businesses can recoup sums they should not have paid. Based in Issaquah, Washington, Costco joined dozens of companies suing to safeguard potential refunds. It is also among the largest, with $275.2 billion of revenue in its fiscal year ending August 31.

The nation’s largest warehouse club operator said US Customs and Border Protection denied its request for more time to make final calculations of tariffs owed, threatening its right to complete refunds even if the Supreme Court rules against Trump...

Assembly of First Nations calls for withdrawal of Canada-Alberta pipeline deal

Chiefs unanimously pass emergency resolution backing oil tanker ban and First Nations on B.C. coast

Assembly of First Nations chiefs voted unanimously on Tuesday to demand the withdrawal of a new pipeline deal between Canada and Alberta, while expressing full support for First Nations on the British Columbia coast that strongly oppose the initiative. Hundreds of First Nations leaders are gathered this week in Ottawa for their annual December meeting, where high on the agenda was the federal-provincial memorandum of understanding for a bitumen pipeline to Asian markets announced last week.

The deal contemplates changing the federal ban on oil tanker traffic in northern B.C. waters, but AFN delegates responded by passing an emergency resolution affirming their support for the moratorium...

Oh well, I guess another air sandwich, I hope the First Nations find the right baloney they want or don't want to put in that air sandwich. Actually, I pray they choose the baloney that will benefit you 🫵 the First Nations. If that pipeline goes through, I pray that the treaty is that you are part-owners and stewards of whatever passes through your property.

The solution is that the Oil companies could research an alternate fuel without C02 emitions. I don't care how. How about paying out 10 cents for the return of plastic bottles filled with human flatulent gas? Just attach a little sniffer to sniff out the smell and the C02 you got clean combustible gas

Really, "come on, ya blockheads!" You can make devices so precise in those laboratories that you can measure the hairs around a gnat's butt hole, and you sell us that garbage 💩 out there for the extortionate prices you impose on us, and to add insult to injury, poison us and our planet as well. Bloody Thieves!*_

Why don't you be nice and redeem yourselves by developing a pollution-free fuel? Be HEROs, make more money than you ever dreamed, and be thought of as a savior. How about creating a real working model of the (\text{CO}_{2}\) Extractors to extract the C02. You know why? Insert (THE F EXPLETIVE) They do it because we allow them cheap arse picks to get away with it because no one will stop them!

Hey, let's stick to the old way, it's a way cheaper way of processing gas, and we can still STICK IT TO THE CUSTOMER, leading to astronomical prices, and we are slaves to their gas pumps, pump pump that gas man, and keep a pumpin' that old black toxic gooey oozz all over the land, Mother Nature's blood. Who cares about the environment? Look at all this money we are making both legally and by crook.

TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, everybody, I survived to see another day, eh! Got up and didn't feel anything. I feel different inside after a trip to the bathroom, and everything was a green light in that department. For once, I felt more like an emptied-out garbage can, emptied of its garbage; that's an improvement. I may actually be feeling what is called normal. In the morning? Realy? 😁 Ok, you see, I got me a bridge to sell ya...

In my gratitude for today, I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation by praying for all who are suffering at this time, especially our brothers and sisters south of the border. 🙏

Pray for the innocent; it could be your sister, your brother, your mother, your father, your grandpa, your grandma, your cousin, your aunt, your uncle, remember that favorite aunt? Or that crazy cousin you loved being with? Or the nephew, or niece, and the grandchildren. All these people you know intimately, *think about it.* Just in the immediate family, that can add up to a significant number of innocent people *that you know personally*, as good folks who do not deserve to be ravaged, beaten, and separated by the rule of a SADISTIC BEAST.

Like in the news piece I have just run across here, he doesn't care about INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. If someone says "I am innocent" to the Orange Beast, they are thrown under the bus for having failed.

That is not what *will* happen; it has already happened, and it's continuing to happen right now.

Lawmakers Suggest Follow-Up; Boat Strike Could Be a War Crime

Top Republicans have joined Democrats in demanding answers about the escalating military campaign the Trump administration says is aimed at targeting drug traffickers.

A top Republican and Democrats in Congress suggested on Sunday that American military officials might have committed a war crime in President Trump’s offensive against boats in the Caribbean after a news report said that during one such attack, a follow-up strike was ordered to kill survivors. The remarks came in response to a Washington Post report on Friday that said that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth had given a verbal order to kill everyone aboard boats suspected of smuggling drugs, and that this led a military commander to carry out a second strike to kill those who had initially survived an attack in early September.

“Obviously, if that occurred, that would be very serious, and I agree that that would be an illegal act,” Representative Mike Turner, Republican of Ohio and a former chairman of the Intelligence Committee, said on “Face the Nation” on CBS. Senator Tim Kaine, Democrat of Virginia, said on CBS that if the report was accurate, the attack “rises to the level of a war crime.” And on CNN, when asked if he believed a second strike to kill survivors constituted a war crime, Senator Mark Kelly, Democrat of Arizona, answered, “It seems to.”...

PATTERNS OF INSANITY

  • Google Search -

"Patterns of insanity" can refer to recurring behaviors seen in mental illness, such as the cycle of repeating mistakes and expecting different results, or specific symptoms like delusions, hallucinations, and disorganized speech. It can also be used informally to describe self-defeating behaviors, such as sabotaging oneself before trying something new. In other contexts, it may refer to specific patterns observed under certain conditions, such as the persecutory delusions common in some forms of criminal behavior.

Hallucinations, paranoia, they believe whatever is in their heads at the time to be accurate and honest.

Psychopath & Alzheimer's

A psychopath with Alzheimer's may exhibit a combination of psychopathic traits and dementia-related behaviors, such as extreme rage, aggression, manipulation, and a disregard for social norms, but the presentation will be complicated by the progressive cognitive decline. While some manipulative behaviors and aggression may persist or worsen due to loss of empathy and impulse control from Alzheimer's, the condition can also lead to a more passive or confused presentation. Their aggressive outbursts might be fueled by frustration or confusion from the disease itself, not just a calculated, manipulative intent.

Malignant Narcissisism. Is the right label for this diorder, like I described above.

Never mind EMPECHE - STRAIT JACKET AND GAG and stuffed in a nice rubber room to keep the rest of humanity safe. OF COURSE, you kids are learning all this insanity as being the only REALITY, THAT'S THE WAY LIFE IS. I would sooner live on the Planet of the Apes.

Trump’s threats bring war with Venezuela closer as contradictions and legal fears mount

Intensifying US threats against Venezuela are raising expectations of imminent military action as President Donald Trump heaps pressure on the Caracas regime and flexes power in the Western Hemisphere. Every public sign and warning by the president raises the risk that the US is on an inexorable path toward a military confrontation that would represent a big political gamble, given the public’s antipathy toward new foreign wars.

Trump plans to hold a meeting at the White House Monday evening about next steps on Venezuela, sources familiar with the matter told CNN. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Dan Caine and Secretary of State Marco Rubio are expected to attend, as well as White House chief of staff Susie Wiles and deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller...

Danielle Smith and the Alberta separatists gather in the UCP tent

Federal pipeline deal got booed, but premier won some cheers and even party stability

There was a period, in the old Progressive Conservative dynasty days, when there wasn’t much daylight between a chamber of commerce crowd in Alberta and the party convention crowd. Maybe a number more windbreaker-clad ranchers at the latter, but both audiences would come to root for the same thing: a thriving, economy-boosting petroleum sector.

In 2025, they’re two strikingly different audiences — the Calgary business luncheon that stood up and cheered twice for Prime Minister Mark Carney when he discussed his pro-pipeline memorandum of understanding with Alberta one day, and the United Conservative gathering that booed Alberta Premier Smith on the same topic the next day. The friction is the raucous sound of two trends colliding. The UCP premier has never been so pro-Ottawa, and her party has never been so decidedly anti-Ottawa...

After the flames: Lac La Ronge Indian Band begins replacement of homes destroyed by wildfire

'Communities can save their own communities,' says Chief Tammy Cook-Searson

Miles Ratt, 74, was living with his wife, his granddaughter and three great-grandchildren when the Pisew wildfire forced the evacuation of Sucker River, their home community in northern Saskatchewan. He was far away at the time, trying to save his trapper's cabin from the flames. His family's home burned to the ground, leaving six people with nowhere to live.

Ratt is among the first people to receive one of the ready-to-move replacement homes purchased by Lac La Ronge Indian Band as the community rebuilds, with support from Indigenous Services Canada.

The five-bedroom bungalow was recently placed on a new foundation near the site of their former home.

“They always come through, helping us. That’s the good thing about this band. They are always there for us,” Ratt said...
