TREE HOUSE NEWS🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, granted, it is a lovely morning, the sun is shining, but it is way too hot to do any puttering around in my green space, too hot for much activity. But it's nice to step out now and again to get a little sun and fresh air, well, at least the freshest air you can get from the woodland park along the other side of the driveway from us. It is now 93°F, and it is supposed to be in the 75 to 77°F range by Thursday. Then, I can clean the windows. 😉 👍

Well, Folks, I believe that will be it from the Newsroom for today. Thank you for reading the News.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

MY BOOMERANG WILL COME BACK! 🪃

In the White House Situation Room, they are confused as the bombing continues, as I knew it would. It now makes a perfect cover-up for the genocide in Gaza, unintentionally on purpose, as the Orange Trumpet 🎷 would say.

The Iran-Israel conflict, ladies and gentlemen, is the main feature of this presentation today. Boredom from watching the same one, the sadists have turned their attention elsewhere, where they can change their underwear. Just like everything else in Bizarro land!

Oh my! I envision an army of naked men marching and wanking under their overcoats. The Privileged Culture? I say Privileged Vultures! Ya know what? If they end up using nukes, they'll have to live in a hole in the ground for a thousand years or so, like in the movie, H.G. Wells' The Time Machine, an excellent film. 😉 I recommend you watch it. If that doesn't remind me of the Orange Trumpet's 🎷 Project 25, I don't know what does.

H.G. Wells, The Time Machine, the history that leads to the present situation, in which our main character finds himself. This story is simple enough for the average person to grasp. The story begins somewhere in the late 1800s, where our main character builds a homemade time machine. He ends up someplace in the distant future as a result of that one potentiality in the flow of time and space.

In reality, whether we like it or not, to put it simply, it would appear that we are about to enter a new way of life and living. Those who are still here will have to make up their mind as to what they want to revive from the past—the reset button. 🟡 The movie The Time Machine presents a plausible scenario of what the end result of all the world's current problems will be. WATCH THE MOVIE AND THINK ABOUT IT. MEN IN BLACK, WHERE ARE YOU! We need a few turncoats to disappear. I've been places where people didn't even know I was there: the invisible me.

Most can't tell the difference between a fence post and a nobody. They see a shape or a shadow, and they think it is unimportant, a fly. That falls into the psychological category. Then you not only merge with the background, but you also hear, read, and feel things while in that state of mind. Journalist, analyst, News reporter, News Gatherer, or even just a news chaser, like storm chasers. But beware of the FAKE NEWS, they're easy enough to verify.

BREAKING NEWS:

Trump rebukes Israel and Iran hours after ceasefire

What We're Covering:

• Trump weighs in:

President Donald Trump flashed intense anger today as the ceasefire he brokered between Israel and Iran appeared to grow more fragile. The president conveyed he was unhappy in particular with Israel, who he said quickly violated the truce. Trump held a “firm and direct” call with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu this morning, according to a White House source.

"I don't want it": Trump says US is not seeking regime change in Iran

President Donald Trump said today that he does not want a regime change in Iran because he does not want to see “chaos.”

Asked to clarify a social media post from over the weekend where he floated the possibility of regime change, Trump told reporters on Air Force One: “No, if there was, there was, but no I don’t want it. I’d like to see everything calm down as quickly as possible.”

“Regime change takes chaos, and ideally we don’t want to see so much chaos,” the president added. “You know, the Iranians are very good traders, very good business people, and they’ve got a lot of oil. They should be fine. They should be able to rebuild and do a good job. They’re never going to have nuclear but other than that, they should do a great job.”

The answer here is black and white, and I can't to this day understand why even Joe didn't cut off all weapons going to Israel when he had the chance. I would hate to give the Orange Trumpet any credit for anything, I won't be against him if he stopped sending Israel Amarian weapons. That's the only thing that will fix little creepy warlord Niten Yahu's little red wagon.

Trump administration scrambles to rehire key federal workers after DOGE firings

Trump administration scrambles to rehire key federal workers after DOGE firings

Federal agencies are rehiring and ordering back from leave some of the employees who were laid off in the weeks after President Donald Trump took office as they scramble to fill critical gaps in services left by the Department of Government Efficiency-led effort to shrink the federal workforce.

The Trump administration’s quiet backtracking from the firings and voluntary retirements — which are also paired with new hires to fill vacancies those departures created — come as federal agencies are still implementing their “reduction-in-force” plans as part of a push for spending cuts.

Experts warned that even though the Trump administration has backtracked on some of its efforts to shrink the federal workforce, the rapid rehirings are a warning sign that it has lost more capacities and expertise that could prove critical — and difficult to replace — in the months and years ahead.

Tens of thousands of women traveled for abortion care again last year as state policies continue to shift

For 2½ hours in February 2024, Gracie Ladd and her husband sat in heavy silence as they drove from their home in southern Wisconsin to Chicago.

Their spirits were as cold and gray as the Midwestern winter passing by the car windows; Ladd was 20 weeks pregnant and had recently learned that a severe fetal condition made the developing baby “incompatible with life.” Staying pregnant could put her own health at risk, too.

But abortion wasn’t an option in Wisconsin, where a 175-year-old state law had effectively banned the procedure at the time. That law has since been overturned, but Ladd, her family and her doctors were stuck in a legal gray area that raised fear and worry. And instead of being surrounded by familiar comforts at one of the most distressing points of her life, Ladd had to take time off from work, coordinate child care for her 2-year-old son and travel more than 100 miles from home to a health care provider she had never met.

More than 150,000 people traveled out of state for abortions last year. See where they went

Inflation unchanged at 1.7% in May as rental price growth slowed

Bank of Canada's preferred measures of core inflation ticked down slightly

The annual pace of inflation held steady at 1.7 per cent in May as cooling shelter costs helped tame price pressures, Statistics Canada said on Tuesday.

Shelter costs rose three per cent in May, StatsCan said, marking a slowdown from 3.4 per cent in April. The agency singled out Ontario as the major source of rent relief in the country. Slowing population growth and a jump in new supply helped dampen rent hikes in May.

Mortgage interest costs, meanwhile, decelerated for the 21st consecutive month amid lower interest rates from the Bank of Canada.

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, dear folks, it's sunny out and pretty darn warm out there again. I am immensely thankful for our little portable air conditioner; it works quite well for cooling our Tree House, which is approximately 1,300 square feet, excluding the closets. We don't air-condition our closet moths and crickets. 🦗 🦋 They can get their own air conditioner, "nya!" 😝

Let us take a moment to meditate and send a prayer for those who are suffering because of one individual who thinks they are god or the master of the universe. Keep us, the people, safe, Great Spirit. We need an antidote for the biggest blood sucking virus on two legs that ever plagued humanity.

There is not much more to report from the Newsroom, except that even if it's a little on the toasty side, it's nice to see that bright, round ball in the sky. I was beginning to forget what it looked like.

Now On with the Daily Discussion.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

The Resistance:

How Americans can defend our democracy against Trump

Real political change in America doesn’t come from the top; it never has. It comes from the bottom, from ordinary people resisting in big and small ways.

In the wake of Donald Trump’s second term, more and more Americans are asking a critical question: “What can I do to defend democracy in America?”

That question marks a shift away from the comforting illusion that courts, politicians, or institutions will save America’s democracy on their own. They won’t. Institutions have failed us repeatedly, as we have learned that what we thought were guardrails are merely suggestions, reliant on goodwill, decency, and the honor system.

Real political change in America doesn’t come from the top; it never has. It comes from the bottom, from ordinary people resisting in big and small ways. That’s The political scientist Gene Sharp, nicknamed the “dictator slayer,” wrote something of a playbook for resisting authoritarian regimes.

A powerful essay for The New York Times about the Union soldiers of the Civil War. She wrote:

I have read dozens of these men’s letters and diaries, windows into why they fought, into what and whom they loved, and what they hoped for at the end of a war they knew they might not survive. Together, they did save the Union … These men made our lives possible. They were impelled to risk all by a sense of obligation to the future. We possess a reciprocal obligation to the past. We must not squander what they bequeathed to us.

Israel hits notorious Iranian prison as White House reiterates US ‘totally obliterated’ nuclear sites

What We're Covering:

• Iran vows response:

Iranian military officials and members of parliament vowed that the US will pay a price for its strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump alluded to the possibility of regime change in Iran in a social media post Sunday. There has been no word yet from Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei.

• Damage assessment:

• Iran-Israel conflict enters 11th day:

Trump warns "everyone" to keep oil prices down following Iran strike

President Donald Trump has spent the last 24 hours closely tracking the developments — and the reaction — following US strikes on Iran Saturday night, according to multiple US officials.

He has held regular meetings with his senior staff as he’s been updated, the officials said. He still plans to attend the NATO summit in The Hague this week, though two officials cautioned that his travel plans could change if something major arises.

Trump also warned “everyone” today to keep oil prices down. He told the US Energy Department to “Drill, Baby, drill.”

“EVERYONE, KEEP OIL PRICES DOWN. I’M WATCHING! YOU’RE PLAYING RIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF THE ENEMY. DON’T DO IT!” he posted on Truth Social Monday morning...

“To The Department of Energy: DRILL, BABY, DRILL!!! And I mean NOW!!!” he said in a second post.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt earlier Monday warned Iran against closing the Strait of Hormuz — a move that could have disastrous consequences for global oil markets.

The first test images from a groundbreaking observatory named for trailblazing astronomer Vera Rubin have captured the light from millions of distant stars and galaxies on an unprecedented scale — and are expected to reveal thousands of previously unseen asteroids.

While the National Science Foundation has so far released only a couple of images and a brief video clip of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory’s first imagery, more images and videos taken using the largest camera ever built are expected to be shared at 11:30 a.m. ET Monday on the agency’s YouTube channel. The facility is jointly funded by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy’s Office of Science.

Canada and Europe will be drawn a little closer together on Monday as Prime Minister Mark Carney signs a strategic defence and security partnership with the European Union.

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

You know what's different this morning? A different shade of grey clouds. 🌫 It's windy, 💨 nice and warm, supposed to be partly sunny and warm today according to the weather forecast. 👩‍💼 🏝 But no fun sitting out there in that dumb arse wind. I'm going to have to get Night Vision Glasses. If this keeps up with the clouds, I may need those kinds of glasses to see in the dark.

They really do have Night Vision Glasses; I just looked it up on Google. They're like a plastic wrap that sticks over the lenses of your glasses. "Err". I would not try it on my newest prescription glasses. I have four spare pairs of old prescription glasses. I keep one in my car, one in my purse, and one in both the living room and computer room. That way, I have a pair, no matter where I am; if I should forget my regular ones at home, I have a spare. If I were to get those lens night vision sticker-oners, I would experiment with one of my spare glasses.

Damn I hate strong winds, it blows garbage - plastic bags bottles and paper all over the place. Dummies don't have latches to hold down the lids on the recycling buckets. I hope that the need for that arsholery with the strong winds will last for a while.

Well, that's about enough lip flapping 👄 🎤 for one day, except that I got up feeling fairly darn good, outside of some creaking in the bulkheads within the hull of my Good Ship Lolie Pop. I'm doing fine as I continue sailing lazily along a calm sea. ⛵️ 😎 🌞

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

So now they have gone and done it. They blew up Iran's underground nuclear facility, so they think. Just sayin', what if that site was a decoy to draw the enemy forces away from where the real site is? Ayatollah Khamenei would be taking a good hit of opium and laughing his head off around now. Let's just see how this all unravels. Is it an Egyptian mummy in all those bandages or just a picture of the middle finger of a mummy?

What do you think? I believe that while we were discussing the picture of the mummy's finger, the suspect, 'mummy', refers to the Ayatollah sneaking out the backstage door. "EXIT STAGE LEFT!" as Bugs would say. 🐰The Coyote 🐺 in The Road Runner 🦜 show is how far he goes beyond the edge of the cliff before he gives that big-eyed, "Uh-oh!"

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THAT EXPRESSION ON The Kink Orange Pus Bag's face. 🤮

What are your thoughts about the Iran bombing? If you wish to share your thoughts, feel free to do so here. My personal opinion is that if they did hit the right place, and I pray they did, then that's one worry less. Criminally insane psychopaths should not be allowed near anything resembling nuclear. That includes the Orange Pus Bag.

It appears that it will be a job for us, We, The People, to keep these facilities running and safe from lunatics getting access to a complete Total Destruction, by simply preventing all the Nuclear Launch Codes from being entered. And keep the nuclear energy plants and stockpiles supervised and safe. SOMEBODY WITH BRAINS HAS TO TAKE OVER THE REINS! Big ⚫️ <- period, that's it!

Satellite imagery appears to show large craters at key nuclear site, pointing to use of bunker busting bombs

US airstrikes on Iran’s Fordow nuclear facility appear to have left at least six large craters, pointing to the use of bunker busting bombs, a CNN analysis of satellite imagery found.

The images captured by satellite company Maxar showed six visible, separate impact craters in two nearby locations at Fordow — a highly secretive site buried deep in the mountains. The craters can be seen along a ridge running over the underground complex.

Earlier Sunday, a US official confirmed to CNN the US had used B-2 bomber planes to drop more than a dozen massive “bunker buster” bombs as part of the attack on Fordow and two other nuclear sites. These weapons can penetrate deep underground before detonating and are seen as essential for targeting the facility, much of which is buried beneath the ground.

Satellite imagery also showed significant changes to the color of the mountainside where the site is housed, indicating a vast area was covered with a layer of grey ash in the aftermath of the strikes.

As of yet, the level of damage to the underground facility is unclear...

Canada is facing a housing crisis. Could it take a page from Europe?

In the Austrian city of Vienna, more than half of its residents live in some form of subsidized housing

Slavica Salihbegovic's family was growing. So she did what anyone living in Vienna would do: She asked the city for a bigger apartment.

Soon, she was assigned a new apartment: a three-bedroom unit in a brand-new building, adjacent to Vienna's Central Station. Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

At least it's a beautiful, sunny morning. While I was waiting for the coffee, I had my cereal, then went out to sit in my green space. I sat down with my coffee and felt the warm sun shining down on me, as I closed my eyes. The next thought that came to mind was about all the wars that are going on and all the innocent people just going on with their daily lives, all of a sudden get snuffed out, "Ka-uckinboom!" I leave the rest of the aftermath for you to envision in your own minds. Those are the kind of mental images that, if you have a heart, will move you.
Well at least I am so relieved and grateful that today I simply feel good no pain's in the arse, and I am praying it stays that way. Please PRAY WITH ME that I can leave all this sh-tin pain behind me! It's good that I send out or transform the pain into healing energy.
Those thoughts about the wars made me cry, and I prayed while tears ran down my cheeks, for those who are in need when I'm in pain. But the pain-making machine is running out of steam. It needs a rest, more recuperation time between, not one pain in the arse after another.
That's about it from the Newsroom today. Thank you for reading the News.
TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Gratuitous Suffering

There is certainly enough evidence of the aftermath of these wars on TV from Gaza to get the picture. Those are the kind of mental images that, if you have a heart, will move you. Those thoughts made me cry, and I prayed while tears ran down my cheeks. All I can ask for is to pray that some of those billionaires grow a heart and say: THIS IS NOT RIGHT!
DO SOMETHING, MAKE YOUR MONEY TALK THE RIGHT LANGUAGE, that of the heart! If you accept the tax breaks, you are receiving blood money. Because in my opinion, if you give in, you are also going to be the puppets of King Orange Pus Bag. The same applies to you, we the people, the little insignificant peeps. The Kink sees them as slaves who have sold their souls to the company store; these make great candidates for the labor camps:
THOSE WHO STILL HAVE BUTTONS TO PUSH, such as lawyers, judges, lawmakers, computer geeks, and even the mailman, and the janitor, whoever has access to a control button to derail Kink Orange Pus Bag's runaway trains, this is where we, the people, need to protect the lawmakers, judges, and lawyers who still uphold and defend the laws and the Constitution.
OK, I am done preaching for one day. It's now time to step down from the podium and move on to the News.

How airlines are scrambling as escalating conflicts punch holes in the air map of the world

Look at a map of the world showing all the airplanes currently in the air and what stands out most — apart from the staggering number of aircraft up there — are the gigantic holes in the sky where no flights can be found.
These no-fly zones usually occur where there’s a risk to aircraft safety from events on the ground. The escalating conflict in the Middle East is the latest global situation to punch holes through air traffic flows, a situation that aviation experts say is costing commercial airlines time and money as they reroute or cancel flights.
It’s a reminder that, even when cocooned in a metal tube at 40,000 feet, watching a Hollywood movie and being served dinner and drinks, air passengers remain inescapably tied to the events happening far below them...
