TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Today will be an OPPEN MIKE DAY

DISCUSSION: All Topics;

Ya know, like Karaoke without the music.

Well, it's a beautiful sunny morning once more here at the Tree House. I am finally sitting behind my laptop, winding up for the Newsroom morning report with coffee in hand, as I serenely look out at my green space. With a sip of my coffee, I am a' thinkin' how much my taste buds for things have improved lately. I haven't had sore teeth for the past couple of days, either; it may be related to that. Anyway, I will be seeing the dentist on October 8, 2025. I'm going to get abducted by aliens, 👽🛸😮, and "no one will ever see me again!"

Meanwhile, on planet Scrapoid in the Delta Quadrant, Sector 22 of Stargate Region 16, in the Velexor Galaxies, there are only three planets to the left of the Star of Pus Bags, just past the third Pus Bag planet. The entire voyage to the Alpha Quadrent, to the third rocky planet of the star Sol, takes 3 days, 4 minutes, and 36 seconds. The Planet, Tera Firma, shows a strong possibility of supporting live petri dish specimens. Species X 2-11 have reached the critical point; will they evolve beyond this point? Or will a Brigade of Dunces hit the repeat button again?

Many are not far removed from having evolved past the amoeba stage in that imaginary petri dish, Eh! Or maybe closer to actual than we think. Anyway, it won't be hard for those on the lower rung of evolution to go back; they were always reluctant to leave the petri dish in the first place.

As I see it from the major observatory, Starship Android model X 3 of 2 is the commander from planet SX-32 of 46 and a 1/2. You know! The Borg Species. They're OK once they get to know you.

PRAYER FOR THE DAY:

Or is there hope? Will most humanoid species develop a soul and complete the evolutionary process? Thank you, Buddha, Manitou,

G-d, Allah, Creator, Universe, Great Spirit; AMEN!

The government shutdown is a slow-boil political crisis

It’s too early to blink, but the pressure is slowly beginning to rise.

The government shutdown drama is still in its opening act with Democrats and Republicans each heaping blame on the other side. And despite deepening partisan bitterness in Washington, nothing has changed the equation that led to the impasse: Republicans and Democrats both saw a greater political advantage in letting the government close than in keeping it open.

But the earliest signs were evident Wednesday of the political strains that will eventually crack the unity of one or both parties — whether it takes days or weeks — and end the standoff. ...

After losing billions of dollars on Keystone XL and tank cars, Alberta is pursuing another pipeline

Danielle Smith announces new proposal, but says government won't actually build it

After months of Premier Danielle Smith vowing to find a company willing to develop a new oil export pipeline, the Alberta government itself is taking the plunge. As a result, Smith is the third Alberta premier in a row to commit taxpayer money in an attempt to help the industry export more oil out of the province. The move is already drawing both praise and concern from the oilpatch, which wants a new pipeline but is cautious about government intervention.

None of the major pipeline companies have announced new projects in Western Canada

For all the talk of whether Canada needs a new oil pipeline, there's one thing missing: a company wanting to build it. In June, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said there was "no proponent" and no proposal on the table by any company, but pledged, "There will be soon."

So far, that has yet to materialize.

🧚‍♀️ TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

It is another beautiful day here in the Land Of The Rising Sun. 🌄

Well, here I am again at my work station at the kitchen table, looking out onto my Green Space. The nice thing about my green space is that it remains green all year round, thanks to artificial plants, which I intentionally use, allowing me to see some green during the dull winter months. I prefer not to spend too much time dwelling on the thought of winter. For as long as we get reasonably nice weather, I will live each, one day at a time.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

How Fast Can a Tree Fall?

How fast does a tree fall in the forest? Does the size make a difference?

Does it matter if you predict that it would not fall for a hundred more years? But then even great and mighty trees grow old and gnarly and will fall sometimes. The Point is that the tree fell and it landed on my roof. It's a good thing it's only an imaginary roof. You will never know, anyway, unless you're in the forest observing the tree fall.

- Google Search -

A tree doesn't have a set falling speed, but its tip velocity can be as high as ~1.41√(h), where 'h' is the height of the tree. This is a calculation for free-fall objects and doesn't account for wind resistance, root strength, or the complex way trees fail. Trees typically fall due to high winds, and the speed at which they begin to fall can range from 55-63 mph, with widespread failure occurring at higher speeds.

I believe Trumpo is the wind, creating his own tornadoes and hurricanes of self-destruction by creating a tremendous tidal wave or tsunami of human emotions, confusion, anger, and hate.

I have been the publisher of the TREE HOUSE NEWS for about 2 years on Facebook. In the past year, I have extended it to five different Social Networks, just me, my partner editor, and my Imaginary friend Bobby McGee, the screenwriter. I noticed last night that the ratings on my daily news report, *views* were as weird as what Trumpo's must have been last night after his speech to the high-ranking individuals of the armed forces, General and flag rank officers, and their enlisted assistance, who did their best to remain silent and emotionless while sitting around listening to Trumpo's GOBLE-DE GOOP "DROOL!" GOO-GOO KA-KA IN DIAPER speech.

I guess Trumpo's Dunce Brigade is going to be busy trying to stick that one on the Democrats. How often can they get away successfully blaming the democrats for Trumpo's 💩 diaper? I guess for as long as Trumpo has the Supreme Court in his back pocket, but then, that's a different colored horse to talk about later. I know, because Whistle Butt, my imaginary Hossy, told me, and she has more horse sense than Trumpo's and his entire Dunce Brigade can ever dream of having.*_

So the motto of this conversation, as well as the 🙏 prayer for the day. 🙏 It doesn't matter how big the tree grows, or whether it was beneficial or not; good or bad trees, both great and not-so-great trees, they will both fall sometimes. I pray to the Great Spirit to dispel the bad one, or as they say today, to disappear them. AMEN!

Government shuts down after Trump and Congress fail to reach deal

Where Things Stand Now

The federal government shut down at midnight after a deadlocked Congress failed to reach a deal on funding. Republicans and Democrats are at odds over enhanced Obamacare subsidies, with leaders of both parties determined not to take the blame.

Every government shutdown differs, but typically functions that are critical to protect lives and property are deemed essential and remain open. Federal agencies released contingency plans detailing what will continue and how many employees will remain on the job.

For example, while the Department of Education said it will furlough most of its staffers in a shutdown, most Department of Homeland Security personnel will continue working. Will this government shutdown affect you? Share your story here

The US economy lost 32,000 private-sector jobs in September

Private payrolls plunged in September, complicating the picture for the US economy as policymakers and investors struggle to assess the state of the labor market amid a government shutdown.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics is unlikely to release the monthly jobs report this Friday due to the closure. That means many flying blind without critical economic data are having to key into any information they can get, including Wednesday’s private sector jobs data from payroll company ADP.

US private-sector businesses lost 32,000 jobs in September, according to the report. August’s previously estimated 54,000 payroll gains were downwardly revised to negative 3,000. Small private-sector businesses drove last month’s decline, and losses were widespread across industries (with some of the largest losses being in professional and business services and leisure and hospitality), ADP reported. The bulk of the hiring occurred at health care businesses...

Both reviled and admired, former U.K. PM Tony Blair is poised to play a key role in Gaza

Detractors derided him for waging war against Iraq but supporters praised him as peacemaker

More than a quarter century ago, a youthful Tony Blair was the unlikely peacemaker who defied long odds by bringing apparently irreconcilable opponents together in a grand bargain. Back in 1998 and elected Britain's prime minister only a year earlier, the 43-year-old Labour Party leader thrust his energies into resolving the conflict in Northern Ireland that had divided Catholics and Protestants — often violently — for seven decades.

The result, thanks in large measure to American mediation, was the Good Friday Agreement that among other things changed the constitutional relationship between Northern Ireland and Westminster by devolving powers, thereby bringing "the Troubles" to an end...

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Good morning? Or Eh, I think I'll crawl back under my rock. "I'm an earthworm, see!" I suppose one's perspective on the day largely depends on one's perception of what they feel about this day at this particular time. Don't forget, time moves on; it doesn't wait for you to catch up. What you decided to do a minute ago, you have already done in this moment. So that tells me we are only in control of the present moment. Whatever we choose to do now will be etched on the fabric of time and space one minute behind you, as all the other moments and millennia behind that moment.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

LITTLE VOICE:

You can only look back on it from the present moment; by now, you are either smiling because you got it right, or you're crying in your beer because you bet on the wrong horse. The trick is to follow your instincts, trust your gut feeling, which is the inner voice speaking to you. TRUST THE LITTLE VOICE! 👼 The Id, 👶 your little voice, will help you make the right decision, one minute at a time, one day at a time. We only have control of this one day. "Stand by for heavy rolls, as the ship comes about!" "Don't just twitch in your clothes, move! Like, step aside for the bus, please!" 🚌

I do have a dumb hospital appointment for a CT scan. IT'S THE BEST PLACE TO COLLECT BUGS. I usually don't get sick until I go into one of those places, cockroach! They should have more CT scan machines in clinics, not just hospitals. However, you then need technicians and more doctors to operate the machines, and this stubborn government is steadfastly clinging to old, outdated red tape and rules from the past, when wooden ships were the norm; they are preventing or discouraging new technicians and doctors from coming to Canada.

DEAR GOVERNMENT OF CANADA, do you, arse picks, think the public is a bunch of dumb dumbs like Trumpo's Dunce Brigade? If we don't begin to get things in gear and not just windbag it, we will lose. Poilievre is right for once. Slowly and inexorably, I see Canada hanging over the precipice of Trumpitis and his Dunce Brigade infiltrating our freedom and rights as Canadians. So at this point, I will say adieu. Having a clock hanging on the end of my neck like an albatross, I could never concentrate on anything else outside of worrying about running out of time. For me, to do work that requires concentration, I need to put all the clocks in my imaginary drawer out of sight.*_

I will be signing off for now. I will return at a later time, permitting, with the latest on the Breaking News.

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, it's off to another beautiful, sunny morning here 🌄 in the Newsroom 📰 at the Tree House. 🏡 I am taking a moment to sit back in my swivel chair and unwind while sipping my coffee. As I begin my morning here at my workstation, at the kitchen table next to my Green Space, with the glass door open, a mild breeze wafts in, and with the bright sun, it feels more like early June than September 29, 2025. I thought I would give the date in advance. That way, it will save the archaeologists some time to determine when this parchment was written and uploaded to the cloud in the master computer.

Hi, my name is Bobbie McGee, your imaginary friend and news broadcaster, speaking with you today. 🫵 This is March 20, 5643. Time, 2200. Vales Marinaris... Errr, sorry! That was for Valles Marineris, Mars. Here, in Gatineau, Quebec time, it will be 1600 hours. YES! A Canadian Team of archaeologists from Parry Sound, Ontario, has discovered the master computer, buried deep beneath the ground under the town of Moosonee, Ontario. They are currently attempting to download some of the data that is still intact, stored in the cloud.

The master computer was sequestered in a granite chamber, akin to a vault, but more reminiscent of the Great Egyptian Sarcophagus that was housed in King Pharaoh Ra's burial chamber. Ever wonder how the odd-looking sphinxes protect the tomb? They're actually, "TRANSFORMERS!" 🤣😁🥲

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Space Time and Energy Trinity

The Holly Trinity versus the scientific view of the Space Time and Energy Trinity

Today, I wish to discuss the Space Time and Energy Trinity.

-Google Search -

Space Time and Energy

The concept of "space, time, and energy trinity" is not a recognized scientific principle, but rather *a term used in various philosophical and religious contexts to describe the fundamental components of the universe and their interconnectedness.* In physics, the three are understood to be interwoven; Einstein's theories of relativity describe how matter and energy influence the curvature of space-time, while matter and energy are themselves related by the equivalence equation E=mc². Some, however, use the term "trinity" to suggest that these components reflect a divine, three-in-one nature, *either in a theological sense or as a hypothetical model of the universe's fundamental structure.*

These ancient concepts, once held by many, were shared and transformed into folklore, legends, and various supernatural beliefs, which infiltrated different religious practices. Many of these beliefs, born of these ancient legends, are still found on ancient scrolls and etchings in stones almost everywhere, largely yet to be deciphered. Presently, they are an abstract outside of our known reality, our time-space continuum.

Here's how a U.S. government shutdown could impact Canadians

WASHINGTON — With the failure of U.S. House Speaker Kevin McCarthy's final effort to keep the government running, a shutdown is looking increasingly certain south of the border.

Economists warn both Canada's economy and individual Canadians could suffer from impacts of a U.S. government shutdown, and that those impacts will deepen and broaden the longer it lasts.

"Canada and the U.S. are tied at the hips, so even if we are not having a shutdown in Canada...when the U.S. coughs, Canada gets the flu," Andreas Schotter, professor of international business at Western University, told -CTVNews- in a phone interview on Friday.

The "flu," in this case, could feature symptoms like trade slowdowns, cross-border transportation slowdowns, stock market instability, flight disruptions, U.S. visa and work permit delays and, if the shutdown lasts long enough, increased food and fuel prices and other disruptions to the Canadian economy.

During a government shutdown, not every federal department and service comes to a complete halt. Instead, services and functions that are considered essential continue to operate, while those deemed non-essential shut down. How shutdown will impact CANADA? It will depend on which departments and services are deemed non-essential, and how time causes that list to grow, according to Chetan Dave, professor of economics at the University of Alberta. "The longer this shutdown you begin seeing slowly, bigger and bigger things going to get stalled because they're deemed to be non-essential," Dave told -CTVNews- in a phone interview on Friday.

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

I pray you are all well. It's another beautiful, sunny, summer-like morning out there again. Today is a nice skip in the record player, or stuck on Groundhog Day. What about April Fools! Well, they play that every day in the White House, The Kink of Dunces orders his Dunce Brigade ta plays de organ whilst de UN twiddle der tumbs, den daze plays de pocket pool, among other things. 😠🖕 So sayeth de old Irish Wizard of the West, a graduate in jeene-ology, of the University of bullshitology, don't ya know?

I wish it were like this every day. I mean, standing proudly out here in my Green Space, in my nightgown, holding my coffee in my hands, I watch the sun rise as a slight breeze wafts my gown out lazily, like a veil.

As I sip my coffee, I reflect on how the outside world today reminds me of my childhood, even up into my adulthood, when I would watch cartoons on Saturday mornings. Yes, the cartoons had violent scenes in them, but nobody died in the cartoons, and they made me laugh; that was the good part. And the heroes actually survived in the movies, and everyone cheered for the hero. Or heroine 😉

Maybe Mother Nature got all confused on the way to the train station. I am referring to the programming in the main computer of the hologram, brain, which we call The Holographic Universe. Simply put, Nature forgot how to make weather, and she's practicing how to make good weather in the Niagara Region of Ontario. 😁

NEW HEAVENS & NEW EARTH

- Google Search -

BEHOLD, I WILL MAKE ALL THINGS NEW AGAIN!

The primary Bible verses that describe a "new heaven and a new earth" are found in Revelation 21:1, which states, "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea," and in Isaiah 65:17, which says, "For behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth...". These passages describe a future eternal state where God dwells with His people, eliminating death, pain, and suffering, and making all things new...

My understanding of the signs of the coming new heavens and earth is detailed in the Bible, particularly in the Gospels and the book of Revelation. It includes increased deception, the spread of the gospel, wars and famines, natural disasters and signs in the heavens, the regathering of Israel, the persecution of believers, and the rise of lawlessness. These events are described as "birth pains" that will escalate in intensity, leading to a Great Tribulation and culminating in the new creation where there is no sin, suffering, or death, and God dwells with his people. 👌🙏 I'm not a gambler, but I place all my chips and pray on that one.

From the readings, what I see is that there are yet to come two falls of worldwide empires before the coming of the new heavens and new earth. The fall of this one and the fall of the next one, the Thousand-Year Reign of peace on earth.

- Google Search -

Thousand Year Reign

The thousand-year reign, or "millennium," is a period described in Revelation 20 and prophesied in the Old Testament, during which Christ will rule on Earth with his saints after his second coming. This era is characterized by peace, justice, the binding of Satan, and the literal fulfillment of God's promises to Israel and the world...

I'm not a religious person, but I do believe that there is a deeper meaning to the ancient writings than what most can decipher by today's concepts of what they are translating from a different language. Meanings can easily get lost in misinterpretation due to misunderstandings about the influences one character has on the structure of one single word... Additionally, much of the Qabalah is written in words with each character equaling an infinite code. A word to convey a message, and within each character are an endless number of codes, codes within codes. In my opinion, the Bible is a condensed version of the Qabbalah.

Portland’s city leaders and residents are pushing back against ICE. Now Trump is sending in troops

A day after President Donald Trump’s second inauguration, the mayor of Portland, Oregon, knew that a “sanctuary city” like his was going to have a bumpy four years ahead.

“We must come together to live our city’s shared values of freedom from fear and sanctuary from federal overreach in the days ahead, no matter what our city may face,” Mayor Keith Wilson said in a letter to the city council on January 21. In the past eight months, the city has reaffirmed that commitment by joining a lawsuit against the Trump administration and issuing a zoning violation notice for an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility that has been at the center of almost constant protests throughout the summer.

Most of the protests outside the ICE facility, about 2 miles south of downtown, have been peaceful, but occasionally have ended in the deployment of tear gas and resulted in the facility being closed for several days in the summer...

This Ontario ER built a separate waiting room for patients with mental health emergencies

Ottawa's Montfort Hospital sees twice as many mental health emergency patients as provincial average

It's even more hectic than usual at Ottawa's Montfort Hospital on this Wednesday afternoon. "We have a lot of patients waiting so we can feel pressure just in the atmosphere," said Dr. Kristine Levesque, the hospital's deputy chief of staff and chief of psychiatry.

This pressurized atmosphere is par for the course in emergency room waiting rooms, as more than 16 million Canadians who found themselves in one in 2024-2025 well know. But when Levesque enters a set of double doors just off the main ER, it's a whole different environment...

It has stopped short of saying definitively who it believes is responsible, but Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has suggested it could be Moscow, calling Russia the primary "country that poses a threat to European security." The Kremlin denies blame...

As China explores the Arctic, Canada's military is preparing for confrontation

Beijing wants critical minerals. The North is rich in them

More than 3,000 kilometres north of the nation's capital, soldiers, ships and aircraft of Canada's Armed Forces gathered this week in one of the most remote areas of the country to answer one question: How would they board a foreign vessel that neither wanted to be seen, nor stopped. What if the crew of that ship was near sensitive military sites in the North?

It may seem far-fetched. But vessels run routinely through the north with their transponders switched off — largely invisible to other ships, and not necessarily seen by Canada's satellite and surveillance systems...
