Let us Canadians 🍁 celebrate our new sovereignty, A new sovereign country that WE, THE PEOPLE work together to make a better and stronger nation.

That's a major loss for the US; we, Canadians, need to show that we don't need to go off the same precipice πŸ§— the US appears to be teetering on. We can fly πŸͺ½πŸŒ European.

NAZISM! BRAINWASH THEM! The Dunce Brigade [ICE] shouts out loud. BREAKING NEWS RECAP:

Fast-growing Hawk Fire forces evacuations in Reno, Nevada governor declares emergency

A fast-growing brush fire forced residents of northwestern Reno from their homes Saturday night and prompted Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo to declare a state of emergency in Washoe County.

The Hawk Fire ballooned to cover more than 10,500 acres by late Saturday, with no containment reported, according to state fire officials. Its cause remains undetermined. “This is an active and rapidly evolving situation, and I urge everyone in the affected areas to remain vigilant,” Lombardo wrote on X. He urged those who were asked to evacuate to do so immediately.

Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve said “structures have already been burned in this fire and your life is more important than a building,” in a message posted by the City of Reno on X...

Postal Service issues ‘final order’ to restrict mail-in voting

The agency’s order says it will deliver mail ballots only in states that share voter data with the Trump administration. The Supreme Court could rule on the matter at any point.

The U.S. Postal Service has issued a “final order” to restrict mail-in voting, carrying out President Donald Trump’s executive order about two months ahead of the November midterm elections.

In its rule, the agency said it would deliver mail ballots only in states that provide voter information to the Trump administration. But the USPS order, issued late Friday night, acknowledged that injunctions issued by courts in California and Massachusetts must be lifted in order for the new rules to be implemented.

The Supreme Court could rule on the matter at any moment.

“If the government obtains timely relief from the injunctions, implementation immediately thereafter will provide election officials as much time as possible before the next election to comply with the rule’s preparation standards for Federal Ballot Mail envelopes,” the regulations state...

What Canadian Goods Will Take Trump’s 50% Tariffs? Some Pretty Strange Items

Buoys, dog muzzles, capes, national flags and “base metal statuettes” from Canada are now more expensive for U.S. shoppers.

Anoraks and suit jackets. National flags. Some Christmas ornaments. And 36 different kinds of plywood. The lists of hundreds of goods from Canada subject to new 50 percent tariffs from the United States is long and seemingly organized at random.

The Trump administration imposed the tariffs, which took effect on Saturday, after Prime Minister Mark Carney of Canada called off trade negotiations with the United States that had lasted nearly a month. “They asked too much and offered too little,” Mr. Carney said.

Mr. Carney has promised to retaliate “dollar for dollar” against the new tariffs, which join previous tariffs of up to 50 percent that President Trump put on Canadian aluminum, steel and autos last year. Lumber has tariffs that predate Mr. Trumps’s return to office; he nevertheless increased them last year...
