TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, here I am back in the Newsroom. We arrived home at 10:30 pm, 🌙 with no traffic, and it was a nice, quiet drive. I was so bushed, though, I didn't even unpack anything, much less get on the laptop. I just sat down for a while and watched a little TV, then went to bed. It's a grey morning; I wish it would just rain and get it over with, and go somewhere else to produce little clouds. ☁️

I was up this morning at 7:10 am, got the coffee started, and ate my cereal, but still didn't feel very energetic, so I sat on the couch scrolling through X, scanning all the Trump supporters worshiping the Cheeto Jesus and his dunce cadets. Anyway, there are still some fascinating hangers-on in that social network. I call them the Resisters.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Vive La Resistance

Vive La Resistance! Of course, I'm in there and doing my best to support La Resistance in my own way, and my meat grinder has no favorites. I pick on you, and you deserve it, no matter what party, sex, religion, nationality, black, purple, pink, blue, and yellow, skunk, weasel, worm, turd head, cockroach, wearing a suit and tie, or naked. But I also believe in REDEMPTION. Now go put your clothes on!

The narcissist Nazis. Not hard to pick out, like flies in the milk. 🪰 🥛 Really! Have you ever visited a dairy barn and seen flies in the milk bucket? I mean, some of the stuff they post is just absolutely bizarro - LITERALY, I swear they are looking at the world backwards, the wrong end of the telescope.

I have learned my lesson through past experience: not to get into someone else's business unless invited. Even then, unless one is looking for an entanglement, it's better to simply keep scrolling past it. It's better not to disturb or attack a bee's nest, even with a long stick; if you do, you can expect a big sting, and then you're outside in the cold, feeling like an idiot. Plus, it's not good for your blood pressure, and unless you enjoy the thrill of heated arguments, which will create conflict, what does that resolve? Then have at it, Hoss!

For me, I dislike the feeling of even one of those awkward ones, where the more you argue, the more you feel like you are losing control, falling off the edge, or like my insides are like a dishrag when you twist it to wring it out. I don't get enjoyment from that. It's like for a person who smokes weed for the first time, not sure where all their body parts are, was the best description I heard.

So, therefore, for me, it's a waste of my good time to argue. What I submit in my groups is simply sharing my thoughts, ideas, and opinions, as well as local and national news, with anyone interested in reading it. You're welcome. On social network home pages, I stick with those of like minds, and I give support to those with similar thoughts, opinions, and feelings —the sane ones.

I am not a professor in anything, but I do have an advanced degree of knowledge of what makes things tick in this world. I would classify myself as a self-taught person, having learned on my own through extensive reading, and much of my education was gained through trial and error.

Thank you for reading the news 📰

Kink Trumpet, 🎷 "Hey, Melania! There's a kink in my trumpet!" He is taking away the entire wasp's nest. What do you think the wasps are going to do with the chief thief and liar who stole their home? Of Course! Sting the 💩 out of the perpetrator that took away their home.

BREAKING NEWS:

Latest US inflation report shows a pullback in travel spending and an increase in the cost of goods

US wholesale inflation was muted in June, presenting what would seem to be a better-than-expected outcome amid President Donald Trump's hefty tariffs on global trading partners. However, a steep drop-off in travel and other services camouflaged an increase in the cost of goods.

The Producer Price Index, which measures the average change in prices paid to producers, was unchanged from May, and the annual rate of wholesale-level inflation slowed 2.3%, staying lower in part because of base effects (as the year-ago period experienced higher inflation). "Tariffs are raising prices of manufactured goods, but wobbly demand kept broader inflation contained in June," Bill Adams, chief economist for Comerica Bank, wrote in a note on Wednesday...

In scathing letter, NASA workers rebuke 'rapid and wasteful changes' at agency

A group of 287 scientists and current and former NASA employees has issued a declaration lambasting budget cuts, grant cancellations, and a "culture of organizational silence" that they say could pose a risk to astronauts' safety.

The document — titled “The Voyager Declaration” and dedicated to astronauts who lost their lives in tragic spaceflight incidents of the past — is addressed to acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy, a staunch Trump loyalist who abruptly replaced Janet Petro, a longtime NASA employee, in the agency’s top role on July 9. The letter has 156 anonymous signatories and 131 public signatures — including at least 55 current employees.

“Major programmatic shifts at NASA must be implemented strategically so that risks are managed carefully,” states the letter to Duffy, a former member of Congress, prosecutor and reality TV personality who also currently serves as Transportation secretary. “Instead, the last six months have seen rapid and wasteful changes which have undermined our mission and caused catastrophic impacts on NASA’s workforce.” The letter raises concerns about suggested changes to NASA’s Technical Authority, a system of safety checks and balances at the agency.

The Land Of Brocken Dreams and 💔

This one truly breaks my heart. I had to walk away for a few moments; I was having a difficult time conceiving that thought in my mind. Even at the expense of human lives. To see the demise of the most excellent space exploration and research center on the whole planet. Certainly a monumental niche in history, destroyed by a maniac. Left to be gutted like the lamb for sacrifice to the Great Orange Tin Can god. NASA is one of the many sacrificial lambs. Like, he already raped Lady Liberty. What's left? I don't see any great opposition to this unholy beast.

Four-year-old girl dies of hunger in Gaza as Israel throttles food supply

Four-year old Razan Abu Zaher gave up her fight for life on Sunday.

She died at a hospital in central Gaza from complications brought on by hunger and malnutrition, according to a medical source. Her skeletal body was laid out on a slab of stone. At least 76 children in Gaza have died of malnutrition since the conflict began in October 2023, as well as ten adults, the Palestinian health ministry says. According to the World Health Organization, most of these occurred since Israeli authorities imposed a blockade at the beginning of March.

Razan was one of at least four children to succumb in the last three days, the youngest just three months. Over the past 24 hours, 18 deaths have been recorded due to famine in Gaza, the health ministry says, reflecting a deepening crisis in the territory. CNN first met Razan a month ago. She was already weak with hunger and pitifully thin. Her mother, Tahrir Abu Daher, said then that she had no money to buy milk, which was in any case rarely available...

These fascist bloodthirsty beasts are getting their jollies watching people suffer and starve. I don't beat around the bush; I call a spade a spade when I see one. I can tell the difference between a thirty-titted swamp goat with alligator teeth and an angel. I'm certain I will stay away from that swamp. Don't bother draining it; contain it and starve it like a cancer.
