Great Spirit bless ๐Ÿ™

Good morning. Well, it will be as soon as we get out of this freezing, snow garbage weather we're getting right now. It's forecast to get up to 51°F this afternoon. I hope Accuweather is right, if they are, that ain't too shabby for the Niagara Peninsula region of Southern Ontario. I like it here, since we moved here more than 8 years ago. The most snow I have seen here was 20 inches, 16 of that in one night, but it doesn't last long here, which I don't mind. Something to do with the Niagara Escarpment.

As I sit here sipping on my morning coffee, I thought it would be a good time to pause for a moment to meditate and pray. Thank you.

My thoughts for the day:

FOR US CANADIANS ๐Ÿ G-d bless and protect Canada. May this land always be FREE from tyranny, dictatorship, piracy, bloodshed, plunder, terrorism, and lawlessness.

Let us also PRAY AND MEDITATE for those who are of a free democratic society, and let us not forget to pray for the true-hearted Americans, those who have compassion and empathy, those who care for their family, friends, and neighbors, who care for each other, and believe in a Higher Power of their understanding. For America, I pray for the preservation of the Rights and Freedoms Act and the American Constitution. "AMEN!"

I understand that Higher Power as I believe: ONE Humanity - Life -Creator - Created - Creation - Universe. "AMEN!"

RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS ACT

Question: Rights and Freedoms Act

๐Ÿ”นAI Overview

The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms ๐Ÿis a cornerstone of Canada's Constitution, enacted on April 17, 1982, that guarantees fundamental freedoms, democratic rights, mobility rights, legal rights, equality rights, and language rights. It protects individuals from government actions that infringe upon these rights.

Question: American Constitution

๐Ÿ”นAI Overview

THE FIRST AMENDMENT

The First Amendment is in the Bill of Rights.

Americans often talk about the First Amendment.

The First Amendment protects individual rights or freedoms.

These rights are for everyone living in the United States.

Freedom of Religion—You can practice any religion, or you can practice no religion.

  • Freedom of Speech —
  • Freedom of Assembly —
  • Freedom of the Press — The government cannot control what people write in newspapers and the media.

______________________

  • Freedom to Petition the Government:
  • Government Action Only:
  • Exceptions:
  • Content Neutrality: The government cannot restrict speech based on its message, content, or subject matter.

- Encyclopedia Britannica -

Well, as you can see, the two seem intertwined. The golden rules and guidelines to keep peace and order, and equality among We, the People.

And here I solemnly pledge to unveil to my readers only what is true to the best of my knowledge. The freedom of speech still holds true here in Canada๐Ÿ I pray it also does here on the airways. Thank you for reading the Tree House News.

The admiral navigating the battlefield — and the politics of Trump’s Iran war

In the summer of 2024, the threat to maritime shipping in the Red Sea was at its peak. Houthi rebels in Yemen were firing on international vessels, forcing marine traffic to avoid one of the world’s most critical waterways and to sail thousands of miles around Africa instead. By August, they sank two ships and killed several crew members, as US and UK strikes failed to deter them.

Vice Adm. Brad Cooper, then the No. 2 at US Central Command, needed to see the problem for himself. Cooper, who was in charge of coming up with a plan to combat the Houthis, knew the waters well as former commander of the Navy’s Fifth Fleet based in Bahrain, said Dan Shapiro, who worked at the Defense Department on Middle East Affairs. Experiencing the problem firsthand meant that Cooper would be placing himself under the command of officers far junior to himself...

Unanimous vote in risk assessment clears way for 4 astronauts to launch on moon mission

NASA has finished a crucial risk assessment ahead of its upcoming lunar flyby mission, and during a news conference Thursday, the agency revealed a new target launch date and discussed how officials evaluated the dangers the mission’s four-person crew will face.

The agency is now aiming to launch the historic mission, called Artemis II, on April 1 as soon as 6:24 p.m. ET. In the event of a delay, there are six additional windows for lift off next month on April 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 30.

The assessment — known as a Flight Readiness Review, or FRR — took place over two days this week and is a crucial step toward liftoff in which mission managers convene to determine whether the rocket, spacecraft and ground systems are ready for launch...

Retired Air Force major general missing for weeks once led Wright-Patterson, an Ohio base steeped in decades of UFO theories

Streetlights shaped like alien heads line the roads of Roswell, New Mexico, where murals of flying saucers streak across storefronts and tourists pose beside statues of little green men.

Nearly eight decades after a mysterious crash in the desert sparked global fascination with extraterrestrials, the small city remains synonymous with one of the world’s most enduring mysteries: the Roswell Incident. In July 1947, the US military announced it had recovered the wreckage of a UFO from a nearby ranch before quickly retracting the claim, saying the debris was from a weather balloon.

The episode helped ignite decades of speculation that something far stranger had fallen from the sky — and that whatever was recovered, including rumors of bodies that didn’t belong to human beings, was quietly transported to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, a sprawling military installation in Ohio long speculated to house secret government research into unidentified flying objects...

Kashechewan chief walks back calls for Indigenous Services minister to resign

Minister Mandy Gull-Masty visited evacuees from the Cree community on Saturday

Kashechewan First Nation Chief Hosea Wesley says he takes back a call he made earlier in the month for Indigenous Services Canada Minister Mandy Gull-Masty to resign. The Cree First Nation, located near the James Bay coast in northern Ontario, has been in a state of emergency since Jan. 4 when issues with the water treatment plant led to orders not to use the tap water.

On March 5 Wesley called for Gull-Masty’s resignation because she hadn’t visited the community since he declared the state of emergency, nor had she met with the 2,000 residents who had to leave Kashechewan...

Nordic leaders meet in Oslo with Carney as Arctic tensions sharpen over Greenland, Russia

Leaders' joint statement refers to deepening defence industry co-operation

The leaders of five Nordic countries — plus Canada — gathered in Oslo for a mini-summit to discuss strengthening defence capabilities in the face of higher international tensions, including recent threats by the Trump administration to take over Greenland.

The meeting on Sunday was the last stop in Norway for Prime Minister Mark Carney, who arrived early Friday to witness a major NATO military exercise in the northern part of the country involving more than 30,000 troops, sailors and aircrew. Carney was asked pointedly by the Danish media whether Canada would commit troops to defend Greenland against threats of U.S. annexation by the Trump administration...
