Great Spirit bless π
Good morning, I pray that you are all well, safe, blessed, and guided to make the right choices on this day. I don't know what the weather is going to do this morning, the 16th of March. With this wind, I will be surprised if I don't lose all of the plants and stuff in my Green Space. That possibility saddens my heart. I feel like I can't have anything nice anymore, ya know, the broken doll syndrome. It's like a shadow that's been lingering around since last January, the ghost of last January. Like I was being cursed by that supreme disgusting Orange Slime Ball Blimp floating over and π© all over We, The People, who are no more than little pieces of π© Orange Slime Ball! "Wanker!"
Poisoning our planet? I guess that will encourage people to build spaceships that can really reach Mars and live on it, which will be less polluted than Earth.
Poluted? Yes, like the ugly stuff that's oozing out of the ground everywhere like F'n crude oil, sewage, radioactive waste, garbage, and then high unemployment rates hit, the market dies, followed by illness from malnutrition, living in tents, starvation, death, and diseases running rampant because of a lack of medical help.
To The Powers That Be, all I have to say is, once We, the People, have all gone, who's going to run your factories and keep the lights on?
I'm sorry to say, but that's how I see the New America within a couple of years, and I am not certain that it isn't already too late to throw a pipe wrench into the gears of this monster. There doesn't appear to be anyone up to bat for that one yet.
That's not to mention all the destruction by tornadoes and hurricanes, which have already begun their havoc. At this rate, Iran won't have to waste time retaliating against Americans; America is already destroying itself.
I would like something cheery to look at in the mornings aside from the prospect of this dreary negativity transpiring all around us. Someone mentioned the antichrist. I would say that we have a manifestation of the antichrist in the Brown π© House in Washington.

Question: Authoritarian America
πΉAI Overview
As of early 2026, concerns about American authoritarianism have intensified, with observers noting significant democratic backsliding. Many experts and reports describe the United States as facing a "no longer... a full democracy" or an electoral autocracy due to the concentration of executive power, efforts to control information, and pressure on democratic institutions.

Where is all this insanity going?
How long do we want to keep riding the wild bronco without a saddle?????? "Hello there, Chief Sore Butt!" - πͺΆπΉ
Well, it is now 9:15 AM, and it's still grey, cloudy, and gloomy looking out, but on the bright side, the wind has died down, and my artificial plants in my green space survived with only a few bent branches, thank goodness.

Africa’s great divide: Why the continent’s split is so exciting for science
Time and time again, Hollywood has embraced an imminent apocalypse, as films like “2012” beamed the fictionalized end of the world onto the big screen.
Fortunately, the scientific logic for many such movies has been, to put it lightly, creative. The planet’s crust did not suddenly shift 14 years ago and sweep most of us away in a flurry of earthquakes, eruptions and megatsunamis. And yet, by the time you reach the end of this sentence, Africa will have moved a little closer to splitting apart.
The remote Afar region of Northern Ethiopia sits at the center of a Y-shaped rift system, along which the continent is separating to form a new ocean...

U.S. allies wary of Trump's pleas for help in Strait of Hormuz amid war in Middle East
U.S. president leaning on NATO allies, warning of consequences
U.S. President Donald Trump may delay his China trip due to the Iran war, but Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said Monday it's not to pressure Beijing on the Strait of Hormuz.
"If the meeting for some reason was rescheduled, it would be rescheduled because of logistics," the secretary said on CNBC. "The president wants to remain in D.C. to co-ordinate the war and travelling abroad at a time like this may not be optimal." Trump has suggested he may delay the trip as he seeks to ramp up pressure on Beijing to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz and calm oil prices, which have soared during the Iran war...

Carney, Starmer meet amid deepening Middle East crisis
Rising energy prices a major concern for both leaders, PMO says
The war in the Middle East, the fear that it could escalate and the economic consequences were top of mind as Prime Minister Mark Carney met his British counterpart Monday in the United Kingdom at the tail of a whirlwind trip to Europe.
Carney met British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London, where the two leaders discussed the ongoing military operations of the United States, Israel and Iran and the closure of the vital Strait of Hormuz. An official statement from Carney’s office following the meeting said that both Canada and the U.K. condemned Iran's missile and drone attacks, including on civilian and energy infrastructure...

Canada's annual inflation rate fell to 1.8% in February, war's impact not yet reflected
High gas prices will almost certainly be felt in next month's inflation report
Canada's annual inflation rate fell to 1.8 per cent in February, Statistics Canada said on Monday, with the end of last year's "tax holiday" reflected in the year-over-year numbers but the Iran war still missing from the picture.
February's inflation rate slowed compared to the same time last year, as prices were driven higher when the GST break ended mid-month, the data agency said, in what economists refer to as a "base effect." Food prices saw the largest slowdown, largely driven by slower price growth for fresh and frozen beef. But StatsCan noted that grocery prices have risen more than 30 per cent since February 2021...
