It's a lovely, bright, sunny morning here at The Tree House, but the air is still way too chilly for this time of year. I was up at the usual time, at sunup. At one time, I was not a morning person until I got to retirement age and then discovered the essence and beauty of an early sunrise. How precious, but all those cloudy mornings robbed me of the privilege of enjoying the beauty of a sunrise.

Anyway, it was having to rush off somewhere first thing in the morning, which irritated and made me dread the mornings, especially having to leave the house in the cold of winter first thing in the morning. After I retired and threw away the rat race stopwatch ulcers, I could just sit around in the comfort of my home and watch the sunrise without having to worry about rushing off somewhere, sitting for a few moments, and listening to the springtime birds. That is one of the most precious parts of life and living.

At my age, being on a pension is not a privilege; it is a necessity for survival. I worked for whatever I get back in my pensions; why would I want to willingly give away or allow the thieves to take away my ability to live, the only means I have to keep me off the street? Anyone that cruel, in my opinion, is lower than an ugly, fat, slippery slug's belly on the slope of a slippery pile of diarrhea. EXECUTIONER, Gestapo, and internment camps.

History Repeats Itself

Elon Musk took another jab at President Donald Trump's senior trade adviser Peter Navarro Tuesday, calling him a "moron" on social media as the Tesla CEO further splits from the White House's tariffs plan.

Musk's remarks were in response to a -CNBC- interview with Navarro on that aired Monday, during which the White House trade adviser discussed how Tesla's position as a "car assembler" rather than a car manufacturer could be at odds with Trump's tariff policies. Qué precioso, pero todas esas mañanas nubladas me robaron el privilegio de disfrutar de la belleza de un amanecer.

En fin, tener que salir corriendo a algún sitio a primera hora de la mañana me irritaba y me hacía temer las mañanas, sobre todo tener que salir de casa con el frío del invierno a primera hora. Después de jubilarme y deshacerme de las úlceras causadas por el cronómetro, podía simplemente sentarme en la comodidad de mi casa y contemplar el amanecer sin tener que preocuparme por salir corriendo a algún sitio, sentarme unos momentos y escuchar a los pájaros primaverales. Esa es una de las cosas más preciadas de la vida.

A mi edad, tener una pensión no es un privilegio; es una necesidad para sobrevivir.
