TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡
Land of Whispering Pines 🌲
Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏
Sorry, I am late today, and I will be keeping it short.*_
Wow, what a spectacular afternoon here at the Tree House, bright sunlight ☀️ streaming into the kitchen through the sliding glass door, 🪟 where I sit at the kitchen table. 🪑🍱 It seems and feels more like a day in mid-May. As I watch the steam lazily rising from my coffee cup, I idly think about all that transpired since I went to bed last night.
_*I was Ill most of the night, back and forth to the porcelain telephone until I finally decided to make that long-distance call by stomach express. 😵💫🤢🤮*_
By the time the bilge pump ran dry, it was beginning to be daylight in the swamp. I felt like I was in a swamp full of creepy, slimy, crawling swamp critters. 👾🪲🪳🐍🐛🐉🦎
Anyway, it's 11:50 am right now, and I thought I would drop a short note to let you all know I'm still around and hopefully will be back to my regular publishing of the Tree House News tomorrow. I will see the dentist tomorrow; it was those damned teeth that set everything in motion. I ran out of antibiotics yesterday, which the dentist told me should be sufficient to keep the bacteria that creates the toothache dormant until I go in to get them pulled on Friday. Well, so much for keeping the bacteria dormant — that was 🐎💩.
I have been through enough "PAIN!" torture. I just pray and wish with all my heart 🙏❤️ that this is the end of that torture, or it will be the end of me.
TODAY'S DISCUSSION:
Making Decisions
My opinion, only from personal experience about making decisions, right or wrong, is: Sometimes it's just as well that one has made the wrong decision and lost the game. I see it now, after having had the experience that it wasn't meant for me. Panick choosing, or what was the popular choice at the time, which wasn't meant for me.
It was the choices I made at a point in my life that led me astray or to a place of loss and despair. Where I found myself grasping at straws, and finally realized my boat had sunk. Once I found myself at the bottom of the lake, there was no further I could sink, and I shouted aloud, "What have I got to lose?" Then I forged ahead, swimming back up slowly at first, then faster, driven by what felt good inside of me; each success drove me on. Doing good is never punished, but it can be hard work just to keep from careening over the edge of the precipice of arrogance, contempt, and hate for life 💩 on you. Or find the rickety bridge of hope that goes around the precipice. At least rickety bridges can be adventurous.
Let us make *Making Decisions* be the topic of discussion for today.

MAKING DECISION:
Making decisions involves identifying a goal, gathering information, evaluating alternatives, and taking action. A structured approach helps, typically involving identifying the decision, researching options and their consequences, and then choosing and reviewing the final choice. It's also helpful to manage emotional and external pressures by taking time to make the decision, acknowledging biases, and getting a trusted second opinion...

CANADIAN NEWS:
Carney pitches Canada as 'reliable' to ASEAN as Trump threatens more tariffs
Trump gets a flag-waving reception in Malaysia as Carney quietly presses Canada's case for ASEAN free trade
The old British wartime maxim “keep calm and carry on” was given a new twist Sunday at the opening of the ASEAN Summit as Prime Minister Mark Carney addressed South Asian leaders about the importance of “reliable partners who honour their commitments."
The subtle jabs were delivered against a backdrop of rising rhetoric and tariff threats by U.S. President Donald Trump, who promised to impose a further 10 per cent duty on Canadian goods in retaliation for Ontario government television ads that quote former president Ronald Reagan's criticism of tariffs. Carney has not responded substantively to the sudden, dramatic unravelling of negotiations...
