May Great Spirit bless 🙏
May I share a little more about what I got from all those months I was deathly ill? Please take the time to read; there may be something here you can take home. This illness is not the first time; this is the second time I nearly got called away. The first time was a mental disorder, bipolar, and alcohol. PLEASE READ:
Today began as I like a new, bright, clear sunny day. So far, it's remaining clear with brilliant sunshine. Lately, that doesn't mean a whole lot. It can be sunny in the early morning, then turn cloudy with snow in the afternoon, or vice versa. January and February are nearly impossible to predict accurately for more than a few hours, let alone the next 24 hours.
Outside of getting GERD attacks now and again, which can be miserable too, I am doing fine this morning. When the GERD hits, suddenly, I get nauseated and then the bloating, it lasts a couple of minutes, then fades away, thank you Lord!
When I get those attacks, it certainly prompts me into praying that I don't go through what I did before. I know that if I get that sick again too soon, I will not make it through another bout. I do not have the full recovery strength to fight off anything else right now. Nothing else I can do except stay away from places that are likely to be contaminated with viruses, like small stores, tight office spaces, or doctors' waiting rooms. Losing my top teeth didn't help. If I wish to recover sooner, I need to get my upper dentures at least so I can eat solid food, which would help.
As it is, my stomach is still tenuous; I'm lucky it survived all the battering it received from appendicitis, two killer flus, two Covid-19s, the toxins from infected teeth, antibiotics, and the GERD, all at once. Don't ask me how long I will live; I only know I could not go on with the 24/7 nausea and pain. It was hell, and I lost 14 pounds. I guess that's what you call a survivor.
So now I live vigilantly one day at a time, and I thank the Great Spirit for each day I am well. It's by the grace of the Great Spirit that I feel well. As I think back, I would have left this world that day, sitting slumped over on the can, at the weakest point in my life. I paid for my sins. OK, enough of that.
TODAY'S DISCUSSION:
NATO
- Google Search -
NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) safeguards the freedom and security of its 32 North American and European members through political and military cooperation, centered on collective defense, where an attack on one ally is an attack on all.
Just what the HELL is NATO doing, anyway? They seem to be just sitting on their f'ng arse on their hands with a piece of duct tape stuck across their lips, with Putin, as Kink of the universe, and Trumpo The Typo second in command, and Netanyahu in charge of negotiations, and dictating to NATO MEMBERS. The Closet Of Do Nothings is like a gym locker full of old gym socks and smelly running shoes, just sittin' there stinkin'. At least that's the way it feels to me.
WHY DOES THE MEDIA DO THAT? They never come back with updates, just silence or reports from Trumpo The Typo and his lying Dunce Cadets. What I call an air sandwich 🥪 We, the People, all around the world, will have to take the initiative and begin a new card game without the jokers in it this time.
IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU GOT OFF YOUR BACKSIDES AND GOT TO WORK! Or go play coward under your bed at home and let someone with guts take over the job if you're too chicken to do your job!!!

American Battleground: The peace president’s busy year of gunboat diplomacy
Before the stealth bombers streaked through the Middle Eastern night, or the missiles rained down on suspected terrorists in Africa, or commandos snatched a South American president from his bedroom, or the icy slopes of Greenland braced for the threat of invasion, there was an idea at the White House. It was a philosophy put into action by President Donald Trump but enunciated by top aide Stephen Miller.
“We live in a world, in the real world, that is governed by strength, that is governed by force, that is governed by power,” Miller told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “These are the iron laws of the world that have existed since the beginning of time.” That is undoubtedly the kind of world the president has imagined ever since he stepped back into the Oval Office...

'The old order is not coming back,' Carney says in provocative speech at Davos
Prime Minister Mark Carney says great powers are using 'economic integration as weapons'
Prime Minister Mark Carney delivered a frank assessment of how he views the world in a provocative speech in Davos, Switzerland, on Tuesday, where he said the longstanding U.S.-led, rules-based international order is over and middle powers like Canada must pivot to avoiding falling prey to further "coercion" from powerful actors.
Without invoking U.S. President Donald Trump by name, Carney said "great powers" are using economic integration as "weapons." "Canadians know that our old, comfortable assumption that our geography and alliance memberships automatically conferred prosperity and security is no longer valid," Carney said...

EU chief promises 'unflinching' response to new tariffs as Trump trolls and threatens on social media
Trump shares map on social media that shows Greenland and Canada as U.S. territory
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Tuesday the EU shared concerns with the United States about Arctic security, but if President Donald Trump followed through with new tariffs based on a dispute over Greenland, the alliance's response would be "unflinching" and "united." Von der Leyen, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, said the U.S. risks sending its relationship with EU allies "into a downward spiral" that would only benefit shared adversaries.
Trump announced planned tariffs this weekend on eight countries that sent small numbers of military personnel to Greenland last week, following the U.S. president's repeated statements that he wanted to take over Denmark's vast Arctic island. The Trump administration has talked about acquiring Greenland, and some White House officials have stated that military options were not being ruled out to seize the island...
