Hi, I guess everything is back to what used to be normal before I last got sick. I hope this is not just another holiday from Hell. I was up before the sun. I put away the clean dishes from the dishwasher, made the coffee, then sat and scrolled through my phone while I waited. This is my favorite part of the morning, going out on my Green Space with my coffee and looking around at the trees and the creek below, still frozen and covered in snow. Snow everywhere except my Green Space, the balcony, to be sure it's kept green all through the winter. Just me, my little trusty red plastic shovel, and my corn broom make sure of that. 👩🪏🧹 It was cloudy and chilly, so I didn't stay out for long, even with a coat on.

The extra room we have is used as the computer room and office. I have adopted the term the Newsroom for the TREE HOUSE NEWS. Just me, my own analysis, comments, and reports on the news. This is where I piece together the news articles and my comments. The 27-inch monitors are easier on the eyeballs 👁️

My partner is still sleeping right now, so it's as quiet as King Tut's Tomb in the Newsroom, at least no old bats flying around. I don't pay much attention to most critters unless they try to take a piece out of me; I prefer to keep all my pieces, thank you. I can very much appreciate the silence now and again; I find it peaceful and restful. I used to love getting home from work, when I was still in the laborforceforce, and just sitting on the couch and listening to the silence. OK, that's enough of me here in the Newsroom. Every now and again, I add a bit more about me, my thoughts, and how I feel about things.

Nearly six years after pleading guilty to a crime that should have made him inadmissible, Jeffrey Epstein visited Canada, and federal government officials are providing no answers about why he was allowed into the country.

Documents confirming Epstein's travel to Vancouver in 2014 were among the three million pages released by the U.S. Department of Justice on Friday from its probe into allegations the convicted sex offender ran a child sex trafficking operation catering to the rich and powerful. It's unclear why Epstein was admitted to Canada, given his 2008 guilty plea and 18-month jail sentence on two prostitution charges, including soliciting prostitution from a minor.
