Great Spirit bless π
Helloo! Well, here we are again on a Sunday morning, and the world is still in one piece. The Newsroom report will be a bit longer today. I have more about my mission here, along with a short tribute to Stephen Colbert, that I'd like to share with you. Thank you, G-d Great Spirit, for watching the Dunce Cadets who think they run this show, I guess now that Colbert has been chased off the air.
The network that is now Trumpo The Typo's (‿Λ ‿) kissers. acting like gangsters, snuffing out the cops. Neither side, the good or the bad, seemed very intelligent in those B-grade gangster movies, just like this bunch of dunces we have now, but those second-rate movies were easier to watch, if you ask me. They made more sense.
Now I have always loved making fun of serious stuff and telling straight and outlandish, hinging on profane but not quite. Jokes, like silly kids' stuff. It works like this: Inside my head live many different imaginary friends that I can choose to illustrate the joke. Like, for instance, my friend Bugs Bunny here -> π° Eeep, what's up, Doc? In comic book land, everything is The Infinite Potentialities.
I am 80 years old, and I have seen many great stand-up comedians come and go in my time, and they remain in my heart. Comedians began their careers on that very stage in that very building, The Ed Sullivan Theater. Colbert belongs up there with them. He may be The Last Of The Mohicans at the end of the era of late-night talk shows. Like many of the elders I have heard say when I was a child, My Lord, I dread to see what the world is going to be like in the future. Not that it will matter to the world, I'll be just another dead old fart.
Compassion and Empathy are a dying species, along with the rest of our natural environment, or was this caring for one another just somebody's pipe dream, and they ran out of pipe and couldn't finish the pipeline from Alberta to B.C, SEE? π
There will be hard times ahead for as long as that NUT CASE WHO THINKS HE'S JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, coo-coo bird π¦ that π© in π©² diaper presently left to run the show. Well, insanity doesn't make sense; they speak very little unless anxious or irritated. They will speak rapidly about anything they want to say or do, but very clearly and coherently. They mean it, and so it goes for someone who has absolutely no fear of death and thinks they have nothing to lose. There is no right or wrong, or any feelings; they are like an. automaton, only wishing to fulfill its desires. I know, I'm a retired social worker, and I worked with these people.

Question: The above statement
πΉAI Overview
It sounds like you are exploring some heavy, philosophical, or psychological themes—perhaps describing an encounter with a sociopathic mindset or a specific character archetype.
When you strip away empathy, morality, and emotional depth, you are left exactly with that: an automaton entirely driven by its own raw impulses and desires.
What brings this to mind? If you are looking to explore these concepts further, whether through psychology or literature

50,000 residents in California told to leave their homes as threat of chemical explosion looms. Here’s what we know
As officials in Southern California race to cool down a massive tank filled with a toxic chemical at risk of explosion, tens of thousands of nearby residents have been forced to leave their homes due to health concerns and the risk of catastrophic damage if there is a blast.
About 50,000 people in Orange County have been told to evacuate, with many spending the Memorial Day weekend in shelters, hotels or with friends and family outside the danger zone. Busy tourist destinations like Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm are nearby, but not included in the evacuation zone.
The chemical inside the tank, methyl methacrylate, or MMA, can cause respiratory issues and irritation to the skin and eyes upon exposure, according to the Environmental Protection Agency...

Colbert avoids Trump in final ‘Late Show,’ but president rages afterward anyway
But the late-night host didn’t hold back on CBS as he gave an emotional goodbye, and an array of special guests, including Paul McCartney, celebrated his legacy.
Stephen Colbert took his seat behind the “The Late Show” desk for an emotional final broadcast Thursday evening but, true to his famous satiric wit, managed to get in a last dig at CBS, which has drawn harsh backlash since it canceled the show in July.
Colbert spoke of his joy in hosting the show for so long. The show team refers to the production as “the joy machine,” Colbert said, explaining it must run like a machine. But he added, “If you choose to do it with joy, it doesn’t hurt as much when your fingers get caught in the gears.” The show brought in several famous guests, several of whom chided the Paramount-owned network and alluded to President Donald Trump’s fury at being a target of Colbert’s sharp jokes, to celebrate Colbert’s legacy.
The cancellation was met with accusations that Paramount was ending the show to appease Trump. It came 10 months after Paramount-owned CBS announced it was pulling the show, citing financial reasons. At the time, Paramount was seeking the Trump administration’s approval for its $8 billion merger with Skydance, which cleared in July and cemented Trump-aligned David Ellison as chairman and CEO of the powerful media company...

Trump's man in Ottawa doesn't understand why Canadians are so frustrated right now
U.S. Ambassador Pete Hoekstra says tariffs are here to stay, and Canada needs to accept it
Pete Hoekstra does not mince words.
A close ally of U.S. President Donald Trump, the 72-year-old Republican politician has developed a reputation for speaking bluntly, especially when it comes to the Canada-U.S. relationship.
When he welcomed Radio-Canada to the U.S. Embassy in Ottawa for a sit-down interview earlier this week, Hoekstra offered a few compliments, describing Canada as "an awesome friend" with whom "American businesses really enjoy doing business." But soon the niceties give way to the Trump administration's "disappointment" and "frustration" with the Carney government...

E-bike battery fires are a hazard across Canada. These companies are pitching solutions
PopWheels and PowerShelter launch fireproof charging lockers, e-bike battery swapping
Fires and explosions from lithium batteries for e-bikes and e-scooters have led to millions in damage from Nanaimo, B.C., to Moncton, N.B., — and even deaths.
Fire chiefs have voiced concerns and e-bikes face bans in some buildings and transit. Now companies have launched a solution in Canada that they say could have added benefits to the growing numbers of e-bike users seeking an affordable, convenient transportation option. PopWheels and Powershelter both launched in Canada this spring, offering fireproof charging lockers for e-bike batteries.
