Good morning, I'm doing so, so, like I have a trout flopping around in my stomach. The weather, for the immediate time, is the usual grey, wet, damp, and chilly 💩 weather. I just gave up making plans for a regular summer. I'll just keep the snow shoes polished up; you never know. If it doesn't get nice by the weekend, I am going to put away my gardening tools that have been taking up space on the kitchen table for the last three weeks, waiting for favorable weather.

I don't want to live in a world without empathy. Just thinking of that makes me feel alone, forlorn, and lost, like what is there to live for in the future if there is nothing but hate and destruction left? That leaves me with no one else left in the void around me to care. Crying and weeping in loneliness in a dark corner. No one to care or share a little encouragement and compassion with another caring human being. Instead, we have lying, Criminal activities such as theft, drug trafficking, violence, murder, suicide, and others are all on the rise as the world gets nuttier. I guess if population control were part of Trumpo The Typo's Project 25, it would seem well underway.

One looks at their cell phone and only sees more disorder, chaos, and confusion everywhere. Bloodshed by supposed God-fearing people, killing in the name of G-d! So it would seem. What kind of belief is that? I have been through the BIble from front cover to back cover several times and never saw anywhere in that book that SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT KILLING IN THE NAME OF G-D IS OK. How can they preach about a Higher Power, the Creator of Life, then turn around and kill each other in the Creator's name! What utter nonsense, ignorance, backward, and crude attitude, and they're supposed to be God-fearing people! My "Fn." foot!

More than a year after the Buy Canadian movement took root, grocery giants Loblaw and Sobeys are facing increased scrutiny over "maple washing" — the practice of promoting imported goods as homegrown.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) slapped two Loblaw-owned stores in January with $10,000 fines each for maple washing, and one month later, two other Loblaw-owned stores got formal warnings for the same violation, CBC News has learned.

Sobeys is also on the CFIA's radar.
