Resistance is refusing to accept, acknowledge, or comply with something, especially for moral reasons—the attempt to prevent something by action, argument, or, as I say, those who have access to, push the buttons! If you don't have the large pipe wrench to throw in the gearworks of the opposition, send lube oil with sugar in it. Good for attracting sh-t flies too. Contain them to one pile of sh-t.

The FBI raided the wrong house. The Supreme Court says the family is allowed to sue

A family whose home was mistakenly raided in the middle of the night by the FBI eight years ago will be permitted to continue their damages lawsuit after the Supreme Court on Thursday sent their case back to a federal appeals court for additional review.

The outcome represents a technical win for the family, which had been barred by lower courts from suing the government over the incident.

Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote the opinion for a unanimous court.

Cuts to US-funded malaria programs are adding to a host of issues confronting Congolese mother Mwayuma Idi Feza, whose city, Goma, is at the center of the country’s intensifying conflict and run by a vicious militia.

“I have a child who is sick. He has had malaria for a week and a few days now,” Feza, 36, told CNN of her 1-year-old son, whose fever she suspects is caused by the mosquito-borne illness.

Federal Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu says she's going to put Canada Post's latest offers to unionized postal workers up for a vote in the hope of breaking a longstanding impasse between the parties.

She says in a social media post that it's in the "public interest" to give members of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers an opportunity to vote on the offers, which Canada Post says are its "final" proposals.

Hajdu says that the Canada Industrial Relations Board will be directed to conduct the vote "as soon as possible."...
