Great Spirit bless 🙏
Good morning! I pray for a good morning for all who are reading this Newsroom Report. Or should I call it The Back Porch Report, since during the summer months I do my work on a laptop next to the open sliding glass doors to my balcony Green Space?
As for the weather, it's going to be a carbon copy of yesterday except with lighter winds. Here, we had 61-mph winds; the Niagara Peninsula and Buffalo sustained storm damage from near-hurricane-force gusts. Here today is starting nice and sunny with only a light breeze, but with on-and-off showers and winds gusting to 20 mph. Oh well, we'll be spending that time on my dentist's clock.
The way I look at it, I have a dentist's appointment out of town so that it will be an all-afternoon trip there and back, and the dentist is never fast in and out. What's in our favor is the crappy weather. I see it going to the dentist as wasting someone else's time, so it's a good time to get a couple of things from the store and have supper out, too. That's getting two birds with one stone and a way to take the boredom out of tedious and annoying appointments 😆🍔🍟🌭☕️🧋🍺🛍🏫 Now, isn't it more fun to do it on someone else's clock? Well, now, on to the discussion of the day. Thank you for visiting and reading the Tree House News.

🔹AI Overview
*Bullies and Wars:* Wars are often described as bullying on a global scale, functioning as the most extreme manifestation of intimidation, coercion, and the abuse of power. The Obama Presidential Center stands out — much like the 44th president
It’s fitting that, much like the president it’s named for, nothing about the Obama Presidential Center is traditional.
Few presidents have walked a more improbable path to the American presidency than Barack Obama. So it’s fitting that, much like the president it’s named for, nothing about the Obama Presidential Center is traditional. Not its Juneteenth opening. Not its location on the South Side of Chicago. Not its design, not its sprawling campus that includes a basketball court and outdoor grills, and not the exhibits that not only showcase what the 44th president accomplished but also highlight what he did not get done.
Michelle Obama’s story is also woven throughout the main narrative. There’s a teaching kitchen and a sledding hill. And, in a break with tradition, the $850 million campus does not include the president’s physical archives. The Obamas’ physical papers are in separate facility maintained by the National Archives and Records Administration, and that federal agency is managing his fully digital library.

Airing Friday, June 19, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET.
- This “Yes We Can” ethos reverberates throughout the campus.

Carney government passes law allowing authorization of banned pesticides
Bill C-30 gives cabinet power to greenlight use for economic or food security reasons
The federal government has brought in major changes to how pesticides are regulated in Canada, granting cabinet the power to authorize their use — even pesticides Health Canada has deemed are unsafe.
Bill C-30 passed both the House of Commons and the Senate on Thursday before Parliament rose for the summer.
While the legislation largely deals with measures the federal government announced in its spring economic update, buried within it are major changes to Canada's Pest Control Products Act.

What's wrong with this picture? They don't tell you why there is such a dire need to use those chemicals, which researchers have proven to be hazardous to our health. Unless it was an emergency, like spraying for the screwworm fly pandemic from down south. But they don't say BOOOOO!
I SMELL GREED!
