Great Spirit bless πŸ™

Well, so far, Accuwether was lying about being stormy. It's bright and sunny, and they got the cool part right; it's sweatertime again 😝 Welcome back to mid-April! I love the bright sunlight, though. I can feel the warmth of the life-giving golden green - chartreuse - glow of the trees 🌳and foliage 🌿 inside of me, in contrast to the crisp, cool, clear blue sky 🟦 Anyhow, I do pray that you all be well on this Monday morning of June 15, 2026

Let us all pause for a moment for prayer and meditation, or whenever you can find time. Even just to simply give it a 'thought prayer' I call it.

Thought Prayer, or meditation:

If there is a need for a prayer where it's inconvenient to do so, I just pause and think it, then move on with my day.

I believe:

_*The Universe, the Great Spirit of the Universe, is thought, and we are all ONE within the 'THOUGHT'. or Consciousness. Without thought or consciousness, there would be no universe ⋆⭒˚.☄️πŸŒ‘⋆*πŸͺπŸ’« Without that thought or consciousness, even if there was something out here, WHO or WHAT would be here to be conscious of it?

On the humor side, don't pray while walking. You could end up in the emergency room with a busted nose when you walk into that telephone pole. That's like Impaired Cell Phone Walking. Please find a park bench. 🀣

Well, dear friends, that is about all I have coming from the Newsroom this morning. Now it's time to move on to the Discussion of the day. Thank you for reading the Tree House News.

I thought I would run this through the Fake News Mill search and see what comes out at the other end, as I thought, A BIG PLOP OF TRUMPO THE TYPO πŸ’©

Question: Did Trump stop his 9th war?

πŸ”ΉAI Overview

President Donald Trump claimed on Truth Social that he had "SOLVED" 8 to 9 WARS and was actively working on his 10th. However, fact-checkers and news organizations like Forbes report that these claims are heavily exaggerated or lack a factual basis.

Many of the "wars" Trump claims to have resolved were either long-standing border disputes, tensions over resources with no active fighting, or short-term skirmishes. Furthermore, the "9th war" Trump referred to shifts depending on his announcements.

For example:

  • The Middle East Conflict:
  • Russia-Ukraine:

All we get from the ugly, fat orange toad's drooling, blubbery lips is telling incoherent gobbledegook slop about nothing with the squeals of a pleased pig. BREAKING NEWS:

The true test of Trump’s Iran agreement will come only if the fighting stops

The mixed martial arts fights at President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday party showcased the power of dominance and unequivocal victories. The White House event beneath stormy skies formed an extraordinary backdrop to an announcement by Trump that he’d clinched a memorandum of understanding to end the Iran war.

But any parallels Trump was drawing with his own kinetic brand of politics went only so far, since the Middle East stalemate between the US superpower and its weaker rival lacks the clarity of knockout blows landed in the octagon on the South Lawn...

► Do the opening of the strait and the end of the blockade signal only a return to the pre-war status quo, since the critical nuclear question is still undecided?

► Is Trump any nearer to securing a nuclear deal superior to the internationally backed and monitored pact negotiated by the Obama administration, with which Iran was complying until Trump tore it up in his first term?

► And most fundamentally, beyond a downgrading of Iran’s conventional military capacity, did a war that a majority of Americans didn’t want and that triggered huge global hardship achieve any results that justify its cost?

  • Reasons for optimism that the war could end:
  • Gaps are already forming between the US and Iran on memo’s meaning:
  • Hopes for economic relief could ease political heat on Trump:

Trump’s deal with Iran doesn’t resolve anything

With this framework to end the war, the U.S. and Iran are trying to wipe the slate clean and pretend the past four months never happened.

VIDEO | Included:

After a few dozen false starts, it looks like the United States and Iran have finally struck a framework agreement to pause the war for another two months, stabilize global energy prices and reopen detailed negotiations on Tehran’s nuclear program. President Donald Trump, in typical fashion, announced the accord on Truth Social, claiming it would put the Middle East on the road to peace. He quickly gave several interviews reiterating yet again that more U.S. military action was in the cards if Tehran didn’t satisfy its end of the bargain.

For once, the Trump administration and the Iranians are singing from the same song sheet. Both declared that a signing ceremony would take place this Friday, and while the actual text of the agreement hasn’t been published yet, both sides sketched out its general parameters.

  • The war has hurt every one of its combatants mightily:...

Pensions, passports and misinformation: What each side says the other gets wrong about Alberta independence

CBC News set up listening stations at Let’s Talk Alberta and Forever Canadian events

Would Alberta seniors lose their Canadian pensions if the province separates? Would Albertans lose their Canadian passports?

Even these basic questions are disputed in Alberta right now as both sides gear up for a referendum on the question of independence this October.

Separatist supporter Wendy Fitzpatrick said pensions were the biggest point of concern she heard from older Albertans while gathering signatures, and she believes the pro-Canada side is spreading misinformation on that.

Toronto Port Authority says Billy Bishop expansion would be self-funded. Some experts are skeptical

The port authority’s net income in 2025 was less than $17M

As the federal government begins consultations on the future of Billy Bishop Airport, some experts say they’re skeptical the Toronto Port Authority, which owns the airport, will be able to fund the proposed expansion.

Last month, Toronto Port Authority CEO RJ Steenstra pegged the cost of the expansion at $4 to $5 billion.
