Another beautiful sunny day here at the Tree House Newsroom, which I am doing from my laptop in the kitchen next to the open sliding glass doors, that's as close as I can get to being outside. I would be if it weren't for the outside glare wiping out all visual on the laptop monitor.

I am late getting started again this morning. I had a rather shocking awakening that would be very close in description to a PTSD experience this morning. I was just quietly taking the coffee apparatus out of the dishwasher when there was a loud metallic BANG! 💥loud enough to create like an echo inside my head, that instantly made me think... EXPLOSION! I jumped back, hitting the back of both hands on the top of the door opening to the dishwasher.

Now I am sitting here with two bruised hands, feeling as shocked as anyone does after a close encounter with extinction. My extinction event was the action of gravity on the aluminum plate for the outdoor grill. Its balancing act on the kitchen counter was abruptly terminated, and it made one hell of a noise, like it was dropped on the countertop from the sky! I felt more disoriented than shocked. I spent the first hour getting my stuff back together sufficiently to get started over again.

I was like the defunct robot 🤖 that kept bouncing off the wall and repeating over and over: DOES NOT COMPUTE! Tube 94-B in conduit level 3, leading to port 26A, POPPED ITS TOP 💡💥⛑️ That is about all I have to report from the Newsroom at the moment.
