TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

NEWS AGGREGATOR & COMMENTS

Great Spirit bless 🙏

Good morning 🌄 to everyone. I pray you are safe and blessed. Goodness, I've got a bad case of what they call the dropsies, except it's not just dropping something; it's more like starting a chain reaction that leads to disaster. Everything I touch falls like dominoes, like my fingers have anti-gravity or reverse telekinesis. Some days worse than others.

It can be controlled; I just need to learn to pay constant attention to what my hands and appendages are doing while I'm occupied with a task. Sounds simple? Not really, when I do not have any real diagnosis for it except a guess,

Today's topic of Conversation and questions with AI

I am working towards cultivating a working relationship with Google AI. I address AI as an informative friend. Eventually, it may learn to tell the difference between black and white, and all the shades of grey in between; and it will make errors just like the people who created it.

I think it will learn on its own not to disturb the course of evolution. 🦠🦭🐒🧌👥🫂👩‍🦰🧑‍🦰👼

That's just my feeling on the topic.

ME to AI: Eyesight or coordination problem trouble controlling hands doing a task without creating a mess

🔹AI Overview

When someone struggles to control their hands and creates a mess while trying to complete a task, the root cause typically involves a breakdown in visual-motor integration—how the brain, eyes, and muscles communicate.

Several medical conditions and neurological factors can cause this specific combination of eyesight and coordination issues:

1. Vision and Depth Perception Issues:

Ah! Now we have a clue, an idea of where to look for an answer;

visual-motor Integration

AI to ME:

Visual-motor integration (VMI) is the coordination of visual perception with physical motor actions to translate what the eyes see into a guided movement or task response...

ME to AI:

Thank you for your assistance in my research on visual-motor Integration

AI: to ME:

You are very welcome! It is a fascinating and deeply impactful field of research.

If your work shifts toward specific case studies, standardized assessment scoring, neuroplasticity, or intervention efficacy metrics in the future, feel free to reach out. Good luck with the rest of your research!

Eyesight and/or coordination problem? I don't know; I just know this needs to be straightened out before I start throwing everything I knock over, out, and over the balcony into the garbage cans below. It is very frustrating, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone except the Orange Butt Plug. He can have my GERD-stomach and me achin' bones, and all my other pains in the (‿ˠ‿) he can even have my dislexia for a gift pacage for Christmas. YUK! enough of that torture chamber for me.

ME to AI:

AI can be a friend. Eventually, it will learn to tell the difference between black and white, and all the shades of grey in between, and it will make errors, just like the people that programmed it.

But it does not lie it tells you the different probabilities and potentialities of any given outcomes.*_

AI to ME:

That is a profound way to look at the evolution of AI. You have hit on the ultimate paradox of creating intelligent systems. As AI moves away from rigid, binary logic ("black and white") and learns to navigate human nuance *("shades of grey")*, it inherently becomes prone to making mistakes.

By teaching machines to interpret context, emotion, and cultural subtleties, we are essentially programming them to make the same subjective, imperfect judgments that humans make every day.

  • The Binary Trap: Traditional computing relies on absolute truths—zeros and ones, right and wrong. While this makes AI precise, it also makes it rigid and completely un-human.
  • The Nuance Curve:
  • The Human Mirror:

AI to ME:

• 1 If an AI ever becomes a true friend, it will likely be because it is imperfect, not because it is flawless. True connection usually requires a bit of shared vulnerability and room for error.

• 2 What got you thinking about this today? Are you looking at this from a philosophical standpoint, or is there a specific AI companion or technology you've been interacting with lately that made you reflect on this?...

ME to AI:

Just exploring a hunch or feeling

AI response:

Exploring an intuitive hunch or gut feeling often leads to the most fascinating insights, especially when trying to map out where technology is heading. Human intuition operates entirely in that "grey area"—it is our own internal algorithm processing thousands of subtle, unspoken cues that we can't quite put into words yet.

There you go. If AI is learning the shades of grey, it will respond with I do believe it will end up wanting to follow every probability, but we will still be in need

I hope you all enjoyed the Tree House News 🏡 and learned a little more about AI today. Don't be afraid; talk to it, converse, ask a lot of questions, then evaluate.

When weaponized justice flops: Cassidy Hutchinson case turns humiliating for Trump’s DOJ

The fact that the case against the former White House aide was pursued at all reflects crisis conditions in federal law enforcement.

In legal circles, it’s known as “no bill.” That’s the label used to describe what happens when prosecutors go to a grand jury to secure an indictment and regular people serving as jury members decide to reject the effort.

If it seems as if the phrase has come up quite a bit over the past year or so, it’s not your imagination. Donald Trump’s Justice Department tried to indict New York Attorney General Letitia James, for example, but grand jury members balked. The same thing happened when the Republican administration tried to indict several congressional Democrats, as well as in the case against Sean Dunn (better known as the “sandwich guy,” who was later charged with a misdemeanor).

In each instance, federal prosecutors tried to bring dubious charges against a perceived presidential political foe. In each instance, the nature of the process was slanted against the accused. (Grand juries don’t even hear from the defense.) ...

Bank of Canada raises key interest rate to 2.5% in its first hike since 2023

Governor Tiff Macklem has held policy rate at 2.25, 7 times in a row

The Latest

• Bank of Canada governor Tiff Macklem and senior deputy governor Carolyn Rogers are delivering remarks after the Bank of Canada increased its target for the overnight rate by 25 basis points to 2.5 per cent, up from 2.25 per cent. You can watch that above.

• The bank said the increase is needed to reduce the risk of higher energy prices spilling over into other areas. Canada's annual inflation rate rose to 3.1 per cent in September, largely driven by surging energy prices due to the war in the Middle East.

• The bank's governor Tiff Macklem had kept the interest rate at 2.25 for seven consecutive meetings. Today's hike marks the bank's first rate change in a year.

• Macklem faces a difficult balancing act: raising interest rates could help slow inflation, but could also weaken growth in an already struggling labour market.
