TREE HOUSE NEWS🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Kind of late getting started. I had a doctor's appointment I didn't know I had until yesterday. I figured since I got to get me old arse out of the house we may as well do a little shoppin'. Got what we needed, then went to the chip wagon at Canadian Tire for lunch. Man! That's what I call French fries! 🍟 Finger lickin' ☝️ 👅 good. We then went to the south side to Distinctive Lighting Concepts, a store that specializes in selling ceiling lights and fans. We picked out what we wanted to replace the dead one in the kitchen, then we came home. It is now 2:00 p.m. so the news will be short today.

TODAYS DISCUSSION:

LAYING THE BLAME

Personally, I simply say, laying the blame is the same as pointing to the guy next to you when you sh-t your pants. See, there is a lot of this type of shenanigans going on in this present administration: Kink Taco and his Taco cult of circular finger-pointing psychopaths and Fox News aggregation of clowns and idiots in Congress assembly.

Now it has gone much further than finger-pointing; it's arresting our state representatives, if it isn't enough, it has come to guns. What next? My gun is prejudiced, not me.*_

Why We Put the Blame On Others – and the Real Cost We Pay

Blaming – the fine art of making others responsible for all the difficult things that happen to us – is something our modern society seems to support as perfectly acceptable. Reality TV shows force feed us scenes of one character blaming another, and newspapers are awash with stories about how all of society's problems are to be blamed on politicians or terrorists and there is nothing we can do.

Geneva talks "respectful and serious," Iranian state media says

The talks between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his counterparts from the United Kingdom, France and Germany — known as the E3 — and the European Union’s foreign policy chief were “respectful and serious” and included the views of “all parties,” according to Iranian state news outlet IRNA.

The talks lasted nearly three and a half hours and saw Araghchi “engaged in discussion and negotiation regarding Iran’s nuclear file” with the ministers, according to IRNA. Araghchi headed to the Intercontinental Hotel in Geneva for the meeting after his speech at the United Nations Human Rights Council.

“In the continuation of this process, some of the issues raised may become clearer, paving the way for diplomacy,” IRNA reported, adding that the E3 countries and EU still hope to “play a historic role and gain another opportunity to advance diplomacy.”

Geneva talks between European and Iranian officials have ended

The talks held between European and Iranian officials in Geneva, Switzerland, on Friday have ended, a CNN team on the ground witnessed.

The discussions were “very tense” at first, but then became “much more positive” after the parties took a break, an Iranian source with knowledge of the talks told CNN on Friday evening. “At first, the negotiations were very tense because both sides made allegations against each other about the recent past and about the conditions of the US withdrawal from the (Iran nuclear deal),” the source said. “But after the break, the talks were much more positive.”

When asked whether Iran had agreed to end its uranium enrichment capability, the Iranian source said: “No, because that is a bold red line for us.”

Clashing at UN Security Council, both Israel and Iran vow to keep fighting

The UN ambassadors of Iran and Israel clashed during a UN Security Council meeting today, accusing each other of breaching international laws and vowing to continue their campaigns.

As the conflict between Israel and Iran enters its second week, the council convened an emergency meeting to discuss the situation.

The Iranian UN Ambassador Amir Saeid Iravani said Iran would continue to “exercise its right to self-defense” for as long as needed, accusing Israel and its allies of breaching international law by attacking Iran and calling on the council to act.

Israel’s UN Ambassador Danny Danon, who took the floor immediately after Iravani, accused the Iranian ambassador of “playing the victim.”

Deadly opioid 40 times more powerful than fentanyl smuggled into Canada inside PlayStations, basketballs

Openly sold in ads posted on LinkedIn, X, Adobe and Indian e-commerce sites, before many taken down

The video call is grainy, but it's crystal clear what the person on the phone is trying to sell: illicit drugs, packaged and ready to be shipped to Canada.

The seller, who goes by the name Kim, says he sells cocaine, methamphetamine, MDMA and nitazenes, a powerful class of synthetic opioids most people have never heard of — but which can be up to 43 times more powerful than fentanyl. "It can kill people, right? So, I just want to make sure that you know that," the -CBC- journalist asks in a secretly recorded phone call.

  1. Comment, Paula Koval:

Good evening, Everyone! Thank you for visiting.
The first thing from the Newsroom is a topic easy to verify or debunk: The Blame Game.

Children frequently blame others when they break something around the house or are caught red-handed doing a "no-no." We may not forgive them for compounding their misdemeanor with the felony of a lie, but it's no surprise coming from a child. When adults play the blame game, it's disgusting.
The entire Republican party has become proficient at answering a question with lies, deflection, whataboutism, and blaming the Democrats for whatever comes to their Trump-twisted minds.

I could do the research and post links to videos of Republican members of the House of Representatives, the Senate, Republican candidates for federal office, and members of Taco's cabinet being held responsible for a parade of policy failures. They never give a straight, clear answer to a plainly spoken query.
You hear, "Whatabout Joe Biden?" or "Whatabout Obama?" "The 'tax and spend Democrats did ____ in 1965." No answer deals with the question or the day's problem.

The entire Taco administration speaks lies, deceit, whataboutism, gaslighting, and irresponsibility to everyone. And their followers love it.

What does that say for being a Republican, a MAGAt? Do the research and decide. Taco has been in office for six months and blames Joe Biden for every Taco-made error. Outstanding leadership - NOT!

I read the news about talks to end the state of war between Israel and Iran. Nothing will come of the negotiations. The Supreme Leader of Iran has publicly vowed to wipe Israel off the map. If Israel takes issue with that vow, it's their right to defend themselves.

Nothing will come from the meetings. Israel is playing for time, hoping Taco will enter the war, bringing Bunker Buster bombs and other lethal goodies. My bet is that Taco will approve of dropping the bombs.

As if there weren't enough problems already, extra-strength synthetic opioids are openly sold in ads posted on LinkedIn, X, Adobe, and Indian e-commerce sites, before many were taken down. This poison is shipped inside PlayStations and basketballs (Look for the balls with an odd bounce?).

I'm one person against seeing any opioids available without controls like a prescription and more. Anyone caught at any position in the manufacturing and distribution chain for these drugs should get a mandatory term in a high-security prison.
Thanks again and have a great weekend!

Paula Koval: Thank you for filling in the blanks.
'Mandatory term in a high-security prison'. Pickin' sh-t in the seventh circle of Hell with a toothpick.🥢💩🔥
