TREE HOUSE NEWS🏡

Land of Whispering Pines đŸŒČ

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, it is cloudy đŸŒ« out there but pleasantly warm, like the typical kind of normal late June morning. I don't mind if we get a nice summer rain, but not one of those that stay stuck stationary over you for days like a bad case of constipation. "Sh-t And Get Off The Pot!" Yas kins' read the newspaper later, hun! 😆 đŸ„č

Today, due to the residual heat from yesterday still lingering in the House, especially in the bedroom and spare room, which are closed, the closet crickets and moths don't need air conditioning, they don't pay for the hydro. We still have the AC on to lower the room temperature back down to the normal temperature, as outside.

🙏 Let us begin the day with a short prayer or meditation for those who are suffering. 🙏

Especially those under the thumb of the Orange Jabba the Hutt and his bunions.. er, I mean, minions of air heads, henchmen, AND, forget DOGE.? It should be changed to 'Thugs & Toadies Incorporated'; Don't call the police "CALL THE - T.T.I."

🙏 Or you may simply want to take a moment to meditate on finding a niche of peace and the inspiration required to reflect on the proceedings of the day ahead with organised, positive thoughts.

Ω â˜źïž ~VIVE LA RESISTANCE!~ â˜źïž Ω

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Thugs Toadies Incorporated

'Thugs & Toadies Incorporated' The T.T.I., in my opinion, is absolutely real and well. Perhaps under a different name, or it may all be encoded simply within DOGE, a pack of rats in a bag.

Then we have those masked ICE agents. Those greenhorns hiding behind a mask, some of them probably only kids who played too many video games, acting tough. How long before one of these amateurs has a mishap with firearms? It wouldn't surprise me if they even know how to safely handle and point one of those things, let alone use one. It'd be better if they blow their own toes off.

What if that crack head kid panics and really hurts a lot of people with that thing he or she has in their hands? Think about it. How long before an armed nation revolts in response? I pray to The Great Spirit, G-d, NOT! Someone has to stand up to the tyrant.

Any state representitive, governor, mayor, who pays attention and has control of their city police force should have them on active duty checking out these orangutans rag faces for proper papers, which is what these, never mind ICE, it's arse pics to them. "Ahhh", nothing like Karma.

I rest my case. I spoke into the mic and stepped down gingerly from the podium. Now it's time for the National News:*_

Trump says Iran needs oil money to rebuild, again signaling possible flexibility on US sanctions

President Donald Trump on Wednesday said Iran will need oil money to “put the country back into shape” and said he doesn’t have an issue with China purchasing their oil, signaling possible sanctions flexibility on Iran.

“Look, they just had a war. The war was fought. They fought it bravely. I’m not giving up,” Trump told reporters when asked whether allowing China to buy Iranian oil — as he said he’d like to see — would mark the end of his administration’s “maximum pressure” campaign on Iran.

“They’re in the oil business. I mean, I could stop it if I want to – sell China the oil myself. I don’t want to do that. They’re going to need money to put that country back into shape. We want to see that happen,” he said of Iran.

Why Kennedy’s overhaul of a key CDC committee could lead to ‘vaccine chaos’ in the US

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, or ACIP, will gather this week for its second regular meeting of the year, but this won’t be a typical meeting.

Two weeks ago, US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has a history of vaccine skepticism, upended the independent advisory panel and its planned agenda. All 17 of the previous members were dismissed, and eight new ones were added. Presentation topics central to anti-vaccine activists’ arguments were placed on the schedule, despite studies and data about safety.

Ahead of Wednesday’s meeting, one of the eight new members, Dr. Michael Ross, withdrew during the required financial holdings review, HHS spokesman Andrew Nixon said.

The swift changes — and concerns that the committee lacks expertise and has potential conflicts of interest — are so concerning that some public health experts and officials said the country risks shifting into “vaccine chaos,” with different vaccine recommendations at work, inconsistent access, and uncertain insurance coverage.

Canada promises to spend 5% of GDP on defence by 2035 in pact with NATO leaders

Now there's pressure on Trump to commit to self-defence clause in exchange for funding boost

NATO leaders — including Canada — have approved a plan to dramatically increase defence spending across the Western alliance to five per cent of gross domestic product over the next decade, a decision that has given U.S. President Donald Trump a significant policy victory. They gathered behind closed doors in the Netherlands on Wednesday, where the final details and potential grievances were hashed out.

"As the global landscape shifts, the collective security created by the [NATO] alliance remains the strongest and most effective way of protecting Canadian sovereignty and protecting the security of Canadians," Prime Minister Mark Carney said in The Hague on Wednesday. "With our allies we must ensure that Canada remains strong, unified and ready to confront the threats not just of today but of tomorrow."

    UPDATE

CANADA OPENS NEW DOORS FOR SKILLED WORKERS WITHOUT JOB OFFERS STARTING JULY 2025

Canada continues to reinforce its position as one of the world’s most open and welcoming destinations for international workers. Beginning in July 2025, the process for skilled individuals to work in the country becomes even more streamlined—with new avenues available that do not require a job offer. For those aspiring to start a new chapter in Canada but haven’t yet landed a position, these revised pathways may present the ideal opportunity to make that goal a reality.

This article explores the various work permit options and immigration programs now accessible in Canada, which allow foreign nationals to live and work in the country without first securing employment.

One of the most accommodating options available is the Open Work Permit, a permit that allows foreign nationals to work for nearly any employer in Canada. Unlike many traditional work permits, this version doesn’t demand a pre-arranged job, offering flexibility that appeals to many newcomers trying to establish themselves.

The Open Work Permit is commonly granted to specific categories of applicants, including spouses or common-law partners of skilled workers, spouses of international students, and international students who qualify for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP). Refugees and certain individuals holding temporary resident permits may also be eligible. However, there are restrictions—holders of this permit cannot work for employers found guilty of violating labour standards or those listed as ineligible by the Canadian government.

Another accessible route for working in Canada without a job offer is through the PGWP. This is designed for international students who graduate from designated learning institutions in Canada. If eligible, students can receive a work permit that allows them to remain in the country and gain employment for up to three years, depending on the duration of their study program... Read More:

    *Summary Table*

*Pathway - Requires Job Offer? - Type of Work - Permit Notable Features*

Open Work Permit No Open Flexible, work for almost any employer
