TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

My pet peeve of the day: I still haven't learned how to go off page to copy and paste back on the page I was on on a cellphone. I have to write it down on paper. That eats time when you are operating a sequence of activities, if scrunched. I get a mess like a pile-up on I-75. Or that 50 pounds of compressed 💩 in a 5-pound ziplock bag hitting the wall at 60 miles an hour.😂 Aaah! Just get it done and put the 💩 in a sock. Open the window, wind it around like a baseball pitcher, and let it fly. That was one of my mom's favorite sayings for getting rid of 💩. I guess I should smoke some 💩. After all this, how 💩 can one be? 🤣 😂 😆 🥲 🥹 🤨 😫 😭

NOTICE!: 🛑

I will be busy over the next few days and will be away from July 17 until the morning of July 21 to visit my sister. I will continue with the usual Newsroom report and a couple of breaking news briefs, depending on the time I have available. Thank you for reading the news.

PRAYER OF THE DAY:

Now is the time to take a moment of silence in mind for prayer and meditation, to help sanity return to America. 🙏

How Narcissists Use DARVO to Escape Accountability

Narcissistic Abuse By Manya Wakefield Apr 30, 2020

DARVO (Deny, Attack, Reverse, Victim, and Offender) is a tactical maneuver manipulators use to groom individuals, and, indeed, entire social groups. It involves controlling people's perception of events through a specific sequence of actions. Those who experience the DARVO process often feel disoriented as the perpetrator of abuse actively revises the facts and distorts the truth. By crafting a fictional narrative that bears no resemblance to reality, they sow seeds of doubt. Bystanders, regrettably, accept the manipulator's lies as truth. Meanwhile, the recipient of the abuse becomes a scapegoat and a target of vilification.

My Opinion:

Who wants the hot seat for being the worst narcissist in the world right about now?

CONTESTANTS:

Not Necessarily in Pecking Order:

.1 Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin

NOTE> .2 and .3 Pakistan and India are variables: After Trump pokes them in the eye with a sharp stick with his tariffs and sanctions, they could easily become in league with Putin

.4 Ayatollah Ali Khameini

.5 Xi Jinping

.6 Kim Jong Un

.7 Now the Trumpet, stands alone above all! So, who gets the Nobel Peace Prize for being the most deserving of the 'Dunciest of Dunces' trophy? 🤡 🙃 🔺🤔 🥴 😵‍💫 Aka Trumpeter's Dunce Brigade. Narcissists are frauds programmed to parrot the horsemanure and drivel of the Kink of parrots, the orange arse pick!

BREAKING NEWS:

US wholesale inflation was unchanged last month despite tariff rollout

US wholesale inflation was muted in June, despite expectations for an increase amid the rollout of tariffs.

The Producer Price Index, which measures the average change in prices paid to producers, was unchanged from May, and the annual rate of wholesale-level inflation slowed 2.3%, helped lower in part because of base effects (where the year-ago period experienced higher inflation). Economists had expected that prices would rise 0.2% on a monthly basis and 2.5% annually, according to FactSet...

Trump’s 50-day shift on Ukraine is a big deal — but probably not for Putin

New developments Tuesday reinforced the idea that President Donald Trump has significantly shifted his view of the Ukraine war.

But his short time horizons and lack of specificity on what exactly he will do for Ukraine, which are hallmarks of his leadership, mean the most critical factor preventing an end to the conflict will remain unchanged. There is little reason to believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin will change his own calculations on a war he sees as a historic imperative and that may be existential for him politically.

Still, some things have undeniably changed. Worst-case scenarios for what the first six months of Trump’s second term could mean for Ukraine didn’t come to pass...

Why Donald Trump is facing doubts in the ‘manosphere’

Why Donald Trump is facing doubts in the ‘manosphere’Justin Centers fits the profile of many younger men who helped power Donald Trump’s political comeback last fall.

He's a 21-year-old autoworker from the Detroit suburbs and was newly eligible to vote in presidential elections — a cross-section of traits Trump aggressively targeted in his bid to reclaim battlegrounds like Michigan. He's also a longtime fan of Theo Von, the shaggy-haired, free-wheeling comedian and podcast host whose viral interview with Trump last August signaled an emerging political shift among millennial and Gen Z men.

Centers ultimately voted for Trump, and Von had a VIP seat at the inauguration. But in recent months, Von has expressed growing dissatisfaction with Trump's second stint in the White House — sentiments that were echoed by Centers outside Detroit's Fox Theatre as he waited to catch Von's stand-up tour...

RFK Jr. fires top aides in HHS shakeup

US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has fired two of his top aides in an abrupt shakeup of the leadership at the nation's sprawling health department, two people familiar with the matter told -CNN-

Kennedy this week ousted chief of staff Heather Flick Melanson and deputy chief of staff for policy Hannah Anderson, dismissing them after only a handful of months on the job. The decision came after Kennedy lost confidence in them as part of his leadership team, one of the people familiar with the matter said, although it was unclear whether there was a single triggering event that prompted the firings.

In a statement, an HHS spokesman confirmed the moves and said the department's White House liaison, Matt Buckham, would serve as acting chief of staff...

9 Ontario First Nations speak at Queen's Park after challenging federal, provincial bills

-CBC- News is livestreaming the conference here

Nine First Nations in Ontario that launched a constitutional challenge against a pair of federal and provincial laws meant to fast-track infrastructure projects are speaking at Queen's Park on Wednesday.

The Indigenous communities said in the legal challenge filed in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice that the federal law known as Bill C-5 and the Ontario law known as Bill 5 both represent a "clear and present danger" to the First Nations' self-determination rights to ways of life on their territories.

Bill C-5 allows cabinet to quickly grant federal approvals for big projects deemed to be in the national interest such as mines, ports and pipelines by sidestepping existing laws, while Ontario's Bill 5 allows its cabinet to suspend provincial and municipal laws through the creation of so-called "special economic zones."...

Carney's major projects bill passed. Now he says 'the real work begins'

Cabinet holding meetings over the summer to decide which projects get fast-tracked

Now that Bill C-5 is the law of the land, Prime Minister Mark Carney says "the real work begins" to fast-track major projects. Here's what comes next — and what experts say needs to happen. Parliament passed the bill before it rose for the summer. The second half of the bill, the Building Canada Act, enables the federal cabinet to pick projects deemed to be in the national interest, approve them upfront and override federal laws, environmental reviews and the permitting process.

Those provisions around major projects face pushback from critics, who warn the bill weakens environmental protections, constitutional rights, and democracy itself...
