_*I got up this morning; it was 6:20 am, and it was still dark out. I slept in almost an hour and a half later than usual. It was so dark I had to turn on the light 💡 to find my clothes and put them on. It was really dark, with thick clouds out, ☁️, and I thought we were in for a good thunderstorm. It is now 7:00 am, and all is clearing up, with blue sky. It did rain, but not enough to quench the thirst of an earthworm standing on end with its tongue hanging out.🪱

Well, there isn't much more going on in the Newsroom at the moment. I believe that when I get to the national news, it will undoubtedly make up for it.

Topic of the day, I haven't thought of one yet. I plan to take a coffee break in my green space first to get energized for the really

big show! 🥁I am not really coming up with any special topic this morning. That can only mean The Orange Puke Bag is on the golf course today, or he ate a bad hamburger, or he couldn't find his artificial ear. Boy, it's going to be boring without him being the butt end of everyone's joke, who thinks they're a comedian, laughing like a bunch of jackasses at their own jokes. Some of them were downright clever, I must say.

NO MORE TIN CAN GODS! Please, G-d, my interpretation, with the big G, stands for greatness and or respect, the - dash = ∞ infinity.

I pray that the human race doesn't stray too far back on the evolutionary scale and that it finds it will way back on track, and not end up at the bottom of the pit, like worms mucking about in the oozy mud, as it was in the beginning. At this rate, it won't bode well either; we're evolving with this attitude, and I'm a Tin Can G-d. I have my universe, go get your own! Type of Mindset. Alternatively, we can choose to remain forever trapped, like crabs in a bucket, at the end of evolution. It's your choice, and you don't have an infinity to choose from. Do not go by way of the cerebral cortex but through your heart.

How Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’ frames the defining debate for 2026

The massive tax and budget bill President Donald Trump signed into law this month could prove a major challenge for Republicans in the 2026 midterm elections — but probably not in the places that will be hurt the most by it.

Democrats still expect to compete in very few of the House districts that face the greatest losses from the bill’s historic cuts to the Medicaid program. The same is true in the districts with the most to lose from the bill’s cancellation of the tax incentives for clean energy manufacturing approved under President Joe Biden. Many of the most exposed districts in both categories are small-town and exurban places where the cultural hurdles for Democrats remain nearly insurmountable, even after the passage of a bill that could so directly harm their economic interests.

Instead, the sweeping policy bill may threaten Republicans more in places that are offended than affected by it. That includes not only suburban seats with large numbers of college-educated voters who tend to support activist government, but also blue-collar communities where the bill’s cuts to the social safety net may help Democrats win back some of the working-class voters of all races who have moved away from them in the Trump era.

Florida lawmakers allowed into ‘Alligator Alcatraz’ say detainees packed into cages

Deep in the hazardous and ecologically fragile Everglades, hundreds of migrants are confined in cages in a makeshift tent detention facility Florida’s Republican governor calls “safe and secure” and Democratic lawmakers call “inhumane.”

Two days after filing a lawsuit against Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for being "unlawfully denied entry" to inspect conditions at the facility dubbed "Alligator Alcatraz," members of Congress and state representatives were given a limited tour Saturday to inspect conditions after calling the lack of access a "deliberate obstruction meant to hide what's really happening behind those gates," according to a joint statement from lawmakers.

They said they heard detainees shouting for help and crying out "libertad"— Spanish for "freedom" — amid sweltering heat, bug infestations and meager meals.

Listed as one of the FBI's ten most-wanted fugitives since March, the U.S. State Department is offering a $10-million US reward for information leading to his arrest.

Half of requests for complex dental work are being rejected under national insurance plan

*Dental association says government dealing with 'avalanche' of submissions*

As federal dental care expands to cover most uninsured Canadians, providers say some procedures are being bogged down by paperwork and processing delays. Health Canada says 52 per cent of requests for pre-authorized dental work between November 2024 and June 2025 have been rejected.

While the vast majority of claims don't need pre-authorization, it's required for more complex and often more expensive procedures, like crowns or partial dentures. Clinics must submit extra documentation like X-rays and dental charts to show the work is medically necessary before it can be covered and completed. "There's been a lot of confusion for dentists who send in what we would normally send in to a private plan, and it comes back rejected," said Dr. Bruce Ward, a Vancouver dentist and president of the Canadian Dental Association.

"It's a much, much, much higher rejection rate than private plans."

I pray that Canada is not thinking of cutting back on government services. Is there not a better way than using the Natsi stuff Trump is pulling? Let the Arse pick Junp off the cliff, that's his choice, and it seems the people don't have any problems in taking the plunge off the cliff with him into the seventh circle of HELL!
