TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, folks, here I am, Live from the Tree House, finally, and back in the Newsroom. It's a beautiful, bright, sunny day, in the low 70s. I am sitting here next to the open glass doors that lead out to my green space, the balcony. It's the closest I can be to sitting outside in nature with my laptop. I could, but it's too bright to see what's on the monitor, so I do the next best. I never really had the time to play around with computers when I was working as a social worker; it was the physical, hands-on stuff, not the in-the-office work.

I went to night school and worked in soup kitchens and food banks, and I worked with the homeless, recovering alcoholics, and addicts. My best tutor was my own psychiatrist; he was my tutor in psychology when I went to see him for appointments, which was my opportunity to ask questions. And every month, I get a new update from Psychology Today Magazine. He was a wonderful man.

You know, I learned more on my own through reading a great deal more books. I've gained more knowledge than I did from all the learning I did when I graduated from Cambrian College in Sudbury. Eh! ya know! Sundbury on a Saturday night.

I was attending college in Sudbury when I saw Stompin' Tom live when he sang that song for the first time at the Frontenac Hotel.

If there ever were a Heartbreak Hotel north of the border, that one would have made a good substitute! Back then, the miners and the lumberjacks shared the same watering holes. I leave the rest for your imagination. Anyway, that story would take a couple of pages to describe.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

DO WHAT'S RIGHT

There is irony in the repetition of humanity's deeds and their results. We are victims of our own Karma, damned to repeat the same frame of the video over and over again. Groundhog Day. How far back does the force of Karma go, you may ask, as far as the force projected. But you will ultimately fall back to the force of your own Karma, which you created from your own conception, like using Mount Rushmore to squash a fly in the ointment. So the Karma goes as deep as the amount of hate, the venom that was in that viper.

But there is always hope; that hope is what lies within your heart. Your heart is incapable of lying to you unless you allow outside stimuli to deceive it. Then the brain is disconnected from the heart. DON'T DISCONNECT - YOU DO WHAT'S RIGHT, "DO!" what is in the ❤️

The gift of knowing who you are within, in the heart, ❤️ the truth, will change the entire course of the natural forces and human evolution.

Number ONE! The value of human life must be at the top of the pyramid, above those who prioritize monetary value over human lives. GREED! Those who think they are gods living in palaces are no more than parasites. They are only greedy crabs wallowing in the mud below, fighting and hoarding from other crabs for earthly morsels, at the foot of the temple of evolution.

BE WARNED!

WHEREVER ALL IS CHAOS, THEN WILL COME THE FALL OF EMPIRES

I pray that we are more intelligent, not only wiser but spiritually mature enough to see the writing on the wall. Nobody knows where to hang their hats anymore. The Orange Pus Bag has stolen all the coat hooks.

COME ON! Wake the F up, all of you, quit kissing the orange arseholes' diaper, grow a backbone and stand up to him and DO WHAT'S RIGHT! "GEEZ!"

BREAKING NEWS:

Kilmar Abrego Garcia sues to fight deportation to Uganda after being detained by ICE

Minutes after Kilmar Abrego Garcia was taken into custody by immigration officials in Baltimore on Monday, his attorneys filed a new lawsuit urging a federal judge to order his release and slow down his removal process so he can have a chance to challenge his potential deportation to Uganda.

Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man who was unlawfully deported to El Salvador earlier this year, was taken into custody by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement after turning himself in to a facility in Baltimore.

“Regardless of what happens today in my ICE check-in, promise me this,” Abrego Garcia said at a rally with members of his family, immigration activists and community leaders before reporting to the ICE facility on Monday. “Promise me that you will continue to pray, continue to fight, resist and love, not just for me, but for everybody.”

His comments came as the Trump administration warned it could send Abrego Garcia to Uganda as soon as this week. Abrego Garcia returned home at the end of last week from Tennessee, where he was being held pending trial in a federal human smuggling case...

I solemnly pray on my eighty-year-old knees that all of the perpetrators of the law, genocidal maniacs, persecutors, executioners, and traitors of We, The people, that the Judge of all judges, send them to their appropriate place in Hell, which part of Hell is up to the Judge of judges. I can only pray that it is expedited.🙏

Gorsuch and Kavanaugh warn lower court judges in Trump cases

In Donald Trump’s long-running feud with federal judges, the president has found some support in an unlikely place: the nation’s highest court.

A growing sense of frustration with some lower courts — articulated in terms that at times sound similar to Trump’s own rhetoric — has crept into a series of opinions this summer from the Supreme Court’s conservative justices as they juggle a flood of emergency cases dealing with Trump’s second term.

“Lower court judges may sometimes disagree with this court’s decisions, but they are never free to defy them,” Justice Neil Gorsuch admonished in an opinion last week tied to the court’s decision to allow Trump to cancel nearly $800 million in research grants.

The rebuke, which was joined by Justice Brett Kavanaugh, flipped the narrative that it is Trump who has pushed legal boundaries with his flurry of executive orders and support for impeaching judges who rule against him. A wave of legal conservatives took to social media to tout Gorsuch’s warning...

I feel sad for America, and miss it very much. It was my second home, and I solemnly pray that it returns to the America I knew my entire life. I realise the system certainly needed some readjustment, but at least they had a life, and you could advance as far as you wished with those American dreams. Maybe not what you aspired to, but certainly something you feel was worthwhile accomplishing. If you worked hard enough, you would have found the treasure you sought. Sometimes the replacement is sufficient; it was for me. So I got a vintage 1960s Volkswagen Minibus instead of the Cadillac Escalade.

Trump says imports of wood products may pose national security threat to U.S. — raising fears in B.C.

Section 232 investigation could mean more tariffs for softwood sector, already dealing with 35% duty rate

B.C.'s forestry sector is awaiting the results of a U.S. Commerce Department investigation into the imports of wood products, which could impose further tariffs on the beleaguered industry.

It comes months after U.S. President Donald Trump launched a Section 232 investigation into whether importing timber, lumber and derivative products could pose a national security threat to the U.S.

The prospect of further tariffs on B.C.'s softwood lumber industry in particular — which is already dealing with a high 35 per cent duty imposed by the U.S. — could mean even more mill closures and job losses, experts say...
