TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Here I am again, 5:45 a.m., and it's still dark out. Although it appears to be mostly clear out, it is much cooler than it has been, as the forecast had predicted, as I had explained in my news a couple of days ago. The hurricane in the east would bring a colder air flow from the northwest, with the jet stream dropping, and then you would experience the usual spells of rain, clouds, and colder temperatures. However, other than a couple of days in the 60s, it will hover in the low to mid-70s until the end of September.

I thought I would have an early start at the news this morning because I have a dumb, dumb doctor's appointment at 9:00 a.m., and you know how that is, it will eat up at least two hours of my day, three with the drive there and back, so I will be late again this morning delivering the news. But at least I'll get in what I can now. On Wednesday, I would like to take advantage of a lovely sunny summer day to simply go for a walk in the park and maybe play around with my drone while we're out.

By the way, my sister loved the walk we took in the park when she was here, especially the spot where I took her to see Grandfather Weeping Willow. It's been a couple of years myself since I've been well enough to walk that far, but that tree, I swear, has grown even bigger; it would take at least five grown men to put their arms around it. I used to be able to see it from my green space, but the walnut trees have grown too tall to see it anymore. In just eight years, significant changes can occur.

Not just the trees, I wish that was all that changed, even more recent, NAZI-USA???? Only a half dozen years ago, I would have said pigs can't fly; the laws of aerodynamics would not support a pig without enormous wings, and I would hate to be the one to design the flaps for the wings on that pig.🤯😲😵‍💫 Well, that's it from the Newsroom. Perhaps that's what we can discuss today.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION

AERODYNAMICS OF A PIG:

Is it Possible to teach a pig to fly?

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it appears that our American neighbors have chosen to do precisely that. PUT WINGS ON A PIG!

If they did successfully put wings on the ORANGE PIG and he could fly, the bees would take up walking from flower to flower, and We, the People, would be doing the Tennessee Bird Walk.

Just like he's trying to do to us Canucks. A narcissistic, psychopathic, genocidal, lunatic, maniac, nutcase, Nazi lover that keeps changing the rules to his liking. And he wouldn't need drones; If pigs could fly, he could use his 💩 diapers instead of drones. ALL OF CONGRESS is nothing more than Morons and their DUNCE BRIGADE Gestapo.

This is beginning to look too much like a THREE STOOGES MOVIE, except this time the Three Stooges have real ammunition.

I suppose every day I feel more like that radio broadcaster who was broadcasting, anonymously, in Vietnam, 'Good Morning Vietnam' right here from my own tower. For some reason, that movie has stuck in my mind all these years. Now here I am, living it. Just one more weird occurrence out of many that remain a mystery in my lifetime. Precognition? Like the saying goes, it feels like someone stepped on my grave.

BREAKING NEWS:

Trump says he has fired Fed governor Lisa Cook. She says he has no ‘authority’ to fire her

President Donald Trump on Monday said he has fired Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook, according to a letter addressed to her posted on his social media — the first instance of a president firing a central bank governor in the central bank’s 111-year history.

The unprecedented move represents a significant escalation of the president’s battle against the Fed, which he has blamed for taking too long to lower interest rates. But Cook said the president doesn’t have the “authority” to fire her and that she plans to continue in her post. Cook has recently come under fire by Trump and members of his administration for allegedly committing mortgage fraud. The Justice Department has said it plans to investigate those allegations first raised by Federal Housing Finance Director Bill Pulte.

Cook has not been charged with any wrongdoing...

Israel faces global outrage over “double-tap” strike on Gaza hospital

Israel is facing a global outcry after it launched a deadly strike on a hospital in southern Gaza.

Yesterday’s attack was a “double-tap” strike. After the initial blast at the Nasser Hospital, people gathered around the site to tend to the casualties, while journalists arrived to report. Then, Israel fired again.

At least 20 people were killed in the attacks, including five journalists. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the incident was a “tragic mishap.”

  • Here’s how the world has reacted:

• United Nations:

The UN human rights office called for “justice and accountability” after the strike. At least 247 Palestinian journalists have been killed since October 7, 2023, spokesperson Thameen Al-Kheetan said Tuesday at a press briefing, a figure he said should “shock the world.”

CANADIAN NEWS:

Canada narrows choices for new submarines to German and South Korean bidders

PM Carney meeting chancellor, attending business roundtable in Berlin

As he delivered the hard sell pitch last spring for Canada to buy his submarines, Oliver Burkhard, the CEO of Germany's ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems (TKMS), used the phrase "strategic partnership" half a dozen times.

Canada would be part of "a family," he said.

We will — perhaps — soon get a better sense whether that approach is music to the ears of Prime Minister Mark Carney and key members of his cabinet. It was announced Tuesday that Canada had narrowed the list of contenders to build the navy's new submarines to two bidders — TKMS and South Korea's Hanwha Ocean Ltd.

WATCH | Carney asked how government intends to proceed with submarine procurement:

  • Poland's Donald Tusk won't send peacekeepers to Ukraine but will provide logistical support
  • German, Norwegian officials urge Canada to join 'familiar family' in buying new submarines
  • Ottawa asks defence contractors to make pitches for new submarine fleet

Air quality drops as smoke spreads from Annapolis County wildfire

Environment Canada says air quality reduced in Halifax, Lunenburg, Hants and Kings counties

Smoke from an out-of-control wildfire in western Nova Scotia is drifting into parts of the province more than 100 kilometres away, with Environment Canada cautioning it could lead to poor air quality and reduced visibility in some areas.

The Long Lake fire in Annapolis County more than doubled in size over the weekend, destroying and damaging a number of homes and leading to further evacuations in the area. On Tuesday morning, Environment Canada said in a statement that air quality is reduced in Halifax and Lunenburg counties, while plumes of smoke are expected to settle in Kings and Hants counties in the afternoon as the wind shifts. There is an air quality warning for Annapolis County...
