TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you 🙏

Well, it is kind of half cloudy and half trying to be sunny, whatever you call that. I call it, it's going to clear up and be cloudy with sunny showers 🤔? 😮! Well, at least it is still shirt-sleeve temperatures out there in my Green Space, for now. 🤞 Everything is going well here this morning; my partner is sitting at the table having a coffee with me. Just a very normal, quiet summer-like morning, got the sliding glass doors open, only about three feet away from the table. It's the closest I can get to being outside to do my news on the laptop. I tried outside, but there was too much glare. Well, that is about it for me from the Newsroom. Now it's on with the discussion of the day.

TODAY'S COMMENT:

My personal thoughts.

A man of high stature falls overboard on a tour boat, and people are stepping over each other to jump overboard to save the man's wallet.

In my opinion, that seems to be the name of the game today. Kneel to the great god of gold. Isn't that the same as worshiping gold idols? Not much has changed since homo erectus discovered how to dig and smelt gold. They even sacrificed to those gold gods. Gold was then not used for monetary purposes, but for spiritual purposes. It wasn't used as a medium of exchange. It had a religious significance. Back then, the Egyptians, and even before them, the Sumerians, used gold to represent the Sun and the sun god. Many lives were exterminated in the name of the gold that represented the gods, and we keep repeating the same over and over, like I said before, GROUNDHOG DAY IS HERE AGAIN.

Ask people what the most valuable thing in the world is, and most will likely respond, "diamonds!"

No man! You got it all wrong, man! It's LIFE itself that is the most precious and valuable item in this neurocortex we call the Universe or G-d if you may.

The mystery of life, the closest we can get to the root of where life began, lies in our DNA, like a roadmap of where we came from and where we are about to evolve next. How many different forms of life exist in the universe, and in how many different environments can they develop in? Of course, they will be different from us. Are we going to treat them like illegal aliens? Don't forget, if they're so advanced that they can appear here, in whatever form, physical or energy, they may say, "Watcha talkin' 'bout, White Man?" to Orange Chief Bent Feather 👺🪶

BREAKING NEWS:

Trump’s ‘Apocalypse Now’ threats conceal seeds of political weakness

President Donald Trump is vowing to wield apocalyptic power inside the United States, even as the adverse impact of some of his key policies is becoming clear.

His weekend share of a social media meme in which he threatened to wage war on Chicago, the next Democratic city up in his crime and immigration crackdown, was a classic Trumpian tactic. It depicted him as a strongman unafraid to impose force and incited liberal outrage to delight his base. It was also laced with menace and implied lawlessness that reflects his view of the presidency as a tool of personal power rather than a constitutionally limited national trust.

Still, beneath Trump’s hyperbole, there are signs that his second administration, eight months in, is entering a new phase. His frenetic pace and thunderclap tests of the Constitution have thus far had a disorienting impact. Courts struggled to keep up. Democrats flailed, mourning their election loss and trying to work out the basic business of learning to talk to Americans.

Trump addresses UN amid divide over Palestinian statehood

What Ee're Covering

NOW: US President Donald Trump is addressing the United Nations General Assembly. We are following his speech and will provide updates here.

War in Gaza: The Trump administration has become increasingly isolated in its position on Israel’s war in Gaza. While a growing number of countries have recognized a Palestinian state and denounced Israel’s actions in the enclave, the US has provided its ally with consistent political cover and military support.

Network threat thwarted: Meanwhile, the US Secret Service has

dismantled a vast network of more than 300 SIM servers in the New York area that could have disabled cellphone and emergency services and significantly disrupted the UN General Assembly, according to authorities...

‘Are Mom and Dad not coming home?’: American kids left stranded when ICE takes their parents

Febe and Angelo Perez were asleep in their beds when immigration agents came for their mother.

Only 6 and 9 years old, the siblings – both US citizens from Texas – didn’t understand who the men in tactical vests were or what “ICE” was. And they didn’t hear an officer tell their mom, Kenia, that they would be picked up by Child Protective Services and placed into foster care if she couldn’t find someone to take care of them.

All they knew was that their mother, their only parent since their father died five years ago, was being taken from them. Across the country, US-born children like Febe and Angelo have become collateral damage in the Trump administration’s unprecedented crackdown on undocumented immigrants.

CNN identified more than 100 US citizen children, from newborns to teenagers, who have been left stranded without parents because of immigration actions this year, according to a review of verified crowdfunding campaigns, public records and interviews with families, friends, immigration attorneys and other advocates. These cases have unfolded as the Trump administration has abandoned the “humane enforcement” of immigration laws when deporting mothers and fathers who entered the country illegally, according to policy documents.

Since President Donald Trump took office in January, American children across the country have ended up in the care of relatives, neighbors, friends, co-workers and even strangers. Their parents were picked up during raids on workplaces ranging from farms to meatpacking plants, coming out of check-ins with Immigration and Customs Enforcement or dropping their kids off at school...

Canada among Western nations calling for reopening of medical corridor between Gaza, West Bank

Joint statement also calls for restrictions to be lifted on medicine, medical equipment deliveries to Gaza

Dozens of Western nations called on Monday for the reopening of the medical corridor between Gaza and the Israeli-occupied West Bank, offering to provide financial aid and medical staff or equipment to treat Gaza's patients there. "We strongly appeal to Israel to restore the medical corridor to the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, so medical evacuations from Gaza can be resumed and patients can get the treatment that they so urgently need on Palestinian territory," the countries said in a joint statement released by Canada.

Austria, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, the European Union and Poland were among the two dozen signatories of the statement. The United States was not listed as a signatory...

Fire erupts near NordSpace rocket, delaying possible launch until afternoon

Company says rocket and pad are safe

For the second time on Tuesday, NordSpace hit pause on its plans to launch Canada's first commercial rocket. But the company is still hoping to make history in the afternoon. The morning attempt was the closest the company has come to launching its single-engine rocket, Taiga, from St. Lawrence, N.L.

The mission was a go for launch until about 30 seconds before the timer reached zero. Smoke and fire became visible near the bottom of the rocket. "Pad is secure, flame dissipating from residual propellant. Vehicle is safe," the company said in the comments of its livestream.

NordSpace's next window is between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. NT.
