TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏑

Land of Whispering Pines 🌲

Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you πŸ™

Here it is Tuesday morning coming down, πŸŒ… and all is well here on the Niagara Peninsula. πŸ—Ύ The sun is shining 🌀️ and it's 26°F, but not for long; they're calling for some nasty weather later this afternoon, windy and 3 inches of snow. Tomorrow, it's 41°F and raining, that's the norm here, we get a dumping of snow and a few days later it melts. Fluctuating between 23°F and 41°F, it is about the best climate one can find in Canada outside of the Okanogan Valley in BC. The Okanogan would have been my second choice to live in. Still, when we had the opportunity to move back to Ontario, we chose the Niagara Peninsula area, grape country, the best place in Ontario.

I didn't get out of bed this morning until 8:00 am, on purpose, to shorten my misery while I'm sleeping, so I nap every chance I get, the great escape πŸ‘… This stomach stuff has to go or I will. Well, that's about all I have to report from the Newsroom for this morning. Thank you for reading the news.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

Investigations launched after more unexplained drone sightings off two European coasts

Investigations are underway in Ireland and France after two more incidents this week involving unidentified drones flying close to the coastlines of each country.

On Monday night, several drones were seen flying off the coast of Dublin, just as the plane carrying Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was about to land ahead of his first official visit to Ireland. On Thursday night, several drones flew close to a French naval base on the Atlantic coast housing nuclear ballistic missile submarines, French prosecutors told local media.

The two incidents are the latest in a string of unexplained sightings in several European countries since September. Some drones have disrupted civilian air traffic, while others have flown close to airbases and other military facilities.

European officials have said that they believe Russia is behind at least some of the incidents, but no drone has been retrieved or shot down....

It's happened before, one was shot down; NATO forces shot down Russian drones over Poland Sept. 10, responding to an incursion at a scale unprecedented since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian drones were also found in Sweden and Romania. If this is not PROVOCATION FOR WAR, then what is?

I am just guessing, but my feelings are based on a gut hunch about what is going on. I do that sometimes, like on 9/11, I knew or felt that there was some kind of disaster going to take place, I felt it inside me. It was the night before the Twin Towers disaster, 24 hrs before it took place. I'm the one who wrote in large letters on Yahoo groups, "G-d Save America!"

And on several other occasions, I have recorded in my Blog, for later reference's sake, which I have shared with my partner, I am sometimes treated to visions or premonitions. I'm an empath, "I can feel the texture of the fluffy hairs on a moth's antennae."

That cockroach Putin the Puddin' is edging for nuclear war, and nutcasses like that don't care; they have no ethics, empathy, or value for anything; he will not have any restraints or qualms about tossing bombs at whoever he wants or feels like.

That was why yesterday πŸŒ… <- πŸŒ„ I mentioned a comprehensive strike may be the only answer, get as many as we can in one shot, πŸ’₯ if that's the only way to scatter cockroaches πŸͺ³ πŸͺ³ πŸͺ³ and hope that when it's done, there's still enough world left to live on. 🏜️ THAT'S ALL THAT TURTLE SHIT FOR BRAINS WILL LISTEN TO. The turtle shit 🐒 πŸ’© Putin and his arse kissing buddy Trumpo The Typo 🚯

TREE HOUSE NEWS

I started this news group especially to inform and point out what may not be so apparent to the reader of the news. I only share my own opinions, which, like any other, can be argued. Draw your own conclusion, neg. or pos.

There is so much I would like to share if my stomach would only go back to operating normally. As it is, I honestly don't know where everything is going right now; I'm all twisted up inside, like a pit of snakes, with little respite. But I am thankful I have this group to keep me concentrated on something else; it helps to lessen or distract me from the discomfort. How would you like a 24 - 7 hangover without the alcohol consumption?

We’re in a ‘windchill’ economy, where things feel worse than they are

New York — Most Americans agree: *This economy stinks.

Practically every consumer sentiment survey and political poll points to that theme. People feel like their dollars aren’t stretching as far as before, and the cost of living is rising beyond their means.

There’s just one problem: That part is not true.

Most Americans are getting raises that outpace overall inflation. It’s not even a new trend. It’s been happening each month since June 2023. So, why do people feel so lousy about their finances if they’re getting wealthier? A number of key factors are at play, and most of them are messing with our minds more than our wallets...

  • Paycheck gains are shrinking as inflation heats up again:
  • The pandemic screwed with our collective psychology. Americans got a brief taste of financial security that very rapidly eroded during the inflation crisis:
  • Prices on items you can’t avoid buying are growing much faster than overall inflation:
  • And wealthier Americans are skewing the data:
  • So this is the windchill economy: It feels worse than it actually is. For many Americans, it’s deeply unpleasant:
  • Wage gains are shrinking:
  • The goalposts keep moving:
  • Not all prices are created equal:
  • The K-shaped economy:

A man charged in two high-profile B.C. extortion incidents was living in Canada on an expired student visa at the time of his alleged crimes, according to court records.

Liberals to vote against Poilievre's pipeline motion, calling it 'immature' and an 'insult'

Conservative motion designed to force Liberals to vote on pipeline to Pacific

The Liberal government will vote against Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre's motion Tuesday calling for a new oil pipeline to the Pacific — but ministers insisted it doesn't mean Ottawa has given up on the memorandum of understanding signed with Alberta last month.

Poilievre's motion, which lifts some of the language included in that agreement brokered between Prime Minister Mark Carney and Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, calls for MPs to back at least one pipeline that moves a million barrels of Alberta bitumen to the coast for export to Asia. The Conservatives brought forward this non-binding motion to show divisions in the Liberal caucus on the issue — a divide the party says puts the possibility of a pipeline at risk...
