TREE HOUSE NEWS π‘
Land of Whispering Pines π²
Good morning! May the Great Spirit bless you π
I was up for part of the night again last night. Now I know I need to cut back on my daytime naps. I sat in the corner of the couch scrolling through the news and social networks. The web is like New York, the City That Never Sleeps. But wow, can you ever run into some weird stuff! I worked on the news for a while, until 3:20 AM, then went back to bed and got up again. It was 8:00 AM. Turned all the lights in the house to make it look more like a sunny day.
I'm just a bit upset because somehow I lost the first page of my three-page draft for today's news. Oh well, I did find a piece of the first page, the most essential part, about greed.
TODAY'S DISCUSSION:
IT'S THEFT AND CORRUPTION THAT CAN LITERALLY DESTROY THE ECONOMY OF AN ENTIRE GOVERNMENT, LIKE A CANCER.
The government is for the people; when you suck its lifeblood out, you are also sucking out the lifeblood of the people.
THAT'S WHAT'S HAPPENING SOUTH OF THE BORDER. MONEY HAS BECOME MORE IMPORTANT THAN HUMAN LIVES
I'm not a Bible thumper, but I am familiar with many of the passages within it
Human Life is Infinitely More Valuable Than Money
The Bible: teaches that human life, especially the eternal soul, is of incomparable and infinitely greater value than all the money and material wealth in the world. Worldly possessions are temporary, but a human soul is eternal. Mark 8:36-37 (also in Matthew 16:26 and Luke 9:25)

Money Worth More Than Life?
The Soul's Worth (Matthew 16:26): "What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?" This passage highlights that no amount of money can buy eternal life or redeem a lost soul.

The Love OF Money And Greed
The Bible strongly condemns the love of money and greed, considering them forms of idolatry and the ROOT OF ALL KINDS OF EVIL, which can lead to actions as severe as murder. The concept of a "court of greed" is not a specific biblical term, but the Bible describes how the wealthy can use corrupt courts to oppress the innocent.<- Trumpo The Typo
Or like any narcissistic, sadistic, coo-coo, "Psycho maniac" dictator, who makes their own rules, laws, and regulations. Even Putin, Kim Jong Un, and Xi Jinping have governments governing their countries. So even a fascist or nazi regime needs a government, although they can change the laws and regulations at will, anytime it suits the Rusty Tin Can π₯« god in charge.
Trumpo the Typo doesn't know Jack π© about governing and governments from Shinola π«, and there you have an example of Trumpo the Typo's from Bizarromerica. Give America five years, and even Cuba will look like a preferable place to live.
That'll be it from the newsroom for today, thank you for reading The Tree House News.
Think about it, Rusty Tin Can god, π«΅ YOU RE NOT GOING TO EXIST FOREVER!π₯ πΏ Eventually, even Tin Can gods disintergate into rust dust. You will perish just like every other COCKROACH πͺ³ πͺ³ πͺ³ πͺ³ that came before you, and the people πΆ♀️ π« πΆ♂️➡️ will then spit and dance on your grave π« π πΊ ☠️
I know what you should do with π© like that. If you see one floating around in a toilet, it is guaranteed to work for both cockroaches and a poo elimination. π© πͺ³ Please flush it! π½

Federal agents have repeatedly detained or used force against people who seem to be protesting peacefully, videos show
Federal agents deployed during the Trump administration's law enforcement surge in American cities have shot two Christian clergy members in the head with chemicals or projectiles. One was meditating while holding a sign, and the other had his arms outstretched in prayer. The administration says both were among groups of protesters impeding law enforcement.
Other protesters have been shoved to the ground by immigration or border agents, been chased after taunting them, or had their phones snatched away. One person wearing an animal costume was pepper sprayed while trying to assist someone who had fallen. Another person was detained by local police after trolling National Guard troops deployed to Washington, DC, by playing "The Imperial March" from Star Wars.

Winnipeg moves to scrap bird-friendly window bylaw developers argue is barrier to development
Window treatments among 'the easiest ways that we can help to reverse the biodiversity crisis': Nature Canada
Conservationists are raising concerns as the City of Winnipeg considers walking back a development bylaw designed to help save birds from fatal window strikes, less than a year after the rules came into effect. The City of Winnipeg says it will hold a public hearing Dec. 18 to consider "deleting" the bird-friendly window requirements for a mix of builds along major corridors and near malls.
"I'm kind of ... shocked," said Kevin Fraser, an associate professor of biological sciences at the University of Manitoba who focuses on bird migration and ecology...

Why was 'incredible' giant cedar cut down, despite B.C.'s big-tree protection law?
Yellow cedar's diameter measured 2.79 metres — a size that should have ensured protection, buffer around it
Joshua Wright says a yellow cedar tree he photographed last year was "incredible," the largest he'd ever seen in a decade of hiking around Vancouver Island.
The monumental cedar stood in what was one of the few intact or nearly intact old-growth valleys left on the island, says Wright, an advocate who also recorded the sounds of marbled murrelet birds — a threatened species under federal law — within the same forest. Wright measured the cedar's diameter at 2.79 metres, a size that should have ensured protection for the tree, along with a one-hectare logging buffer under provincial law.

~ Greed ~
Greed in today's society manifests as an excessive, insatiable desire for more (money, power, status, things), driving materialism, overconsumption, and inequality, leading to environmental damage and exploitation, but some argue it also fuels economic growth. It's linked to negative outcomes like anxiety, corruption, and ethical compromises, while critics see it as undermining community, driving unsustainable practices, and creating stark wealth disparities, despite its perceived role in capitalism. Counter-arguments suggest that while personal greed can be harmful, it's also seen as a motivator for innovation and survival in economic theory.
