TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

NEWS AGGREGATOR & COMMENTARY

May Great Spirit bless 🙏

During my early sobriety years, I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. In my experience with bipolar disorder, I discovered and experienced that with this disorder, moods can swing both to the high side and the low side. This effect can last for days, weeks, or even months, then it switches to the opposite mood. It can follow a seasonal pattern, like seasonal depression, but with bipolar disorder, the highs and lows can occur at any time of year, during any season.

I don't like the somber light of winter. As long as I have bright lights on and make the place look at least cheery and alive with plants and such, and lots of pictures taken when Paula and I traveled on the wall, like *Gulliver's Travels* across North America, both the US and Canada. Sharing with Paula, many great memories help to stave off the doom and gloom, or get into my cartoon-type humor to lighten things up. I used to love doing that with the kids. I can usually ride through the darkest parts of winter that way.

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

DISASTERS & STRESS

My Thoughts;

When it came to realising, first, that I had stress levels and changes, I was seeing a shrink back then, Dr. Kraus, an outstanding gentleman, scholar, and teacher. Our talks, along with some mood-altering medications, lessons I learned from him, and a lot of the material I read while going to night school for Social Work, put me on a path of service and recovery. I then discovered the difference between the stressors of my daily life, and I realised how petty all those other stressors were compared to this mess we find ourselves in today.

I have a release from stress in serving. At this point in my life, I do my best to serve whoever reads my posts by directing them to some of the important news of the day, sharing my comments, thoughts, and feelings about what's happening, and researching the news to provide a basis for my ideas.

The Way I See It;

What is the biggest threat of a disaster? What do I believe one should really be concerned about most? A lit stick of dynamite under your feet, an atomic bomb, or an asteroid the size of the one that ended the dinosaurs? The most immediate danger is the stick of dynamite, buried just beneath the ground under your feet. WORRY ABOUT WHAT IS IN YOUR POWER TO RESIST!

Then you can only PRAY and MEDITATE 🙏 for those fools, the Dunce Cadets and master Trumpo The Typo, who buried the dynamite there in the first place. You have no control over them except to pray.

America's Resistance

"America's resistance" generally refers to organized opposition and activism against policies and figures, especially during the Trump administration (often called "The Resistance"), but also encompasses historical movements like the Civil Rights era's fight against segregation or colonial-era protests against British rule, highlighting diverse efforts to defend democratic values, individual rights, and challenge perceived authoritarianism, ranging from insider government actions to widespread street protests and legal challenges...

BREAKING NEWS:

Minneapolis mayor, who decry probe as intimidation tactic

The Justice Department is investigating Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey over possible obstruction of federal law enforcement, sources familiar with the matter told CNN.

A person familiar with the matter told CNN that grand jury subpoenas had been issued for both men as part of the investigation. But neither office had received any notice as of Friday evening, according to sources familiar with the matter. It was not immediately clear when Frey and Walz would receive the subpoenas.

The Justice Department declined to comment. President Donald Trump and his administration have been critical of state and local officials’ response to unrest in Minnesota over the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, with the president suggesting he might invoke the Insurrection Act and deploy troops to the city to quell any violence...

From ‘A+’ grade to ‘we can’t stand this much longer,’ Georgia voters take stock of Trump’s first year back in office

Boston, Georgia

Franz Rowland* has heard *President Donald Trump

He endlessly brags about a roaring economy, but he's seen few signs of it from his cotton farm here in southern Georgia. "Trump says, you know, be patient. The farmer is going to be better than ever," Rowland said, standing on the edge of his field about a dozen miles north of the Florida-Georgia state line. "Well, you'd better hurry up because we can't stand this much longer."

Rowland voted for Trump, hoping a stronger economy and better trade deals would follow. He doesn't entirely blame the president's policies for one of the worst years he's ever had farming, but he said the administration hasn't made it any easier to make a living...

  • ‘He gets an A+ from me’:
  • 'I don't think voters voted for this':
  • 'Somebody wasn't looking out for us':

What the Hell is left to give the farmers when Trumpo The Typo has PIRATED away all of the Federal Sow's titties from We, the People? And those oil ships coming in and out of Venezuela? Yeah, you can add PIRACY to his long list of crimes. THE ORANGE PUS PAG!!!

A GRADE "A" PUS PAG!

P.S. I use CNN as a news source because it is supposed to be unbiased toward either party. I also research their news as well when I gits that feelin, ya know! like an itch you can't quite reach.

Hell, I gits that itch just hearing the word *Republican*, which instantly the words hypocrisy, fascist, lawless, liars, and thieves come to mind😫 DON'T YOU THINK THE REST OF THE WORLD IS THINKING THE SAME THING, EH? Even the other Nazi Fascist countries despise you. They have more respect for Prime Minister Mark Carney, who is welcomed like a *Head of State*, because he can show stability, honesty, and sanity, and knows how to deal the cards.

What do you have South of the border? A bunch of enibriated clod hopin' knife juggling clowns!

'Huge': Trump-voting states left in the lurch with latest mass ouster Verifications

Based on reports from early 2025 and late 2025/early 2026, the second Trump administration has undertaken a massive, ongoing reorganization of the federal workforce, which has resulted in the termination of thousands of government employees across various departments. These actions, which included firing probationers and cutting positions, have created significant "chaos and confusion" in federal agencies.

'Huge': Trump-voting states left in the lurch with latest mass ouster

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is gutting its disaster recovery workforce, leaving disaster-ravaged communities in the lurch, including in two states that voted for President Donald Trump, according to a new report.

The agency is on pace to axe thousands of Cadre of On-Call Response/Recovery, or CORE, employees, the boots-on-the-ground personnel who stay in disaster zones for years, Notus reported Friday. FEMA is simply not renewing their contracts. A current CORE employee sounded the alarm.

Canada wants to be 1st in North America to build EV with Chinese knowledge: senior official

Official says Washington had advance warning about Canada's tariff deal with China

Canada wants to look at joint ventures and investments with Chinese companies within the next three years to build a Canadian electric vehicle with Chinese knowledge, according to a senior Canadian official. The official, who spoke on the condition they not be named, said the goal is for Canada to become the first country in North America to build this type of EV.

It’s a fundamental error, the official said, to think that U.S. President Donald Trump will not allow Chinese electric vehicles into the United States...

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says he did not hear from Prime Minister Mark Carney about the electric vehicle arrangement with China before it was announced, adding, 'this was not thought out properly.'
