NEWS AGGREGATOR & COMMENTS

Great Spirit bless πŸ™

Morning, all! Well, it's a beautiful sunny Wednesday morning. Here I am once more, sitting outside in my Green Space 🌿🌳🌴🦜🌺🌸πŸͺ΄ while I have my first coffee ☕️ of the morning πŸŒ…. It is wonderful to be able to sit outside without a dum-dum πŸ—Ώ coat πŸ§₯ on. I have taken on a project in Sketching and designing right now, which I enjoy doing at the patio table in my Green Space. Much brighter light to work with, and it gives me a chance to get some sun and fresh air for a while at the same time.*_

Holy smokes! Where did everyone go? I guess it's summertime where most everyone is busy doing something outdoors, I would suppose. I also wouldn't be surprised that, for those who can't even afford a steak for a "steak-cation," they will have to settle for baloney sandwichesπŸ₯ͺπŸ₯ͺπŸ₯ͺ and a glass of water 🍸

Let us start the morning by;

LETTING THIS SINK IN, dum-dum! ⛲πŸ—Ώ

WHO AND WHEN WILL SANITY FINALLY HIT HOME? When will someone with a sane mind REMOVE THIS FAKE KINK, MANIAC, DEMENTED, PEDOPHILE, WANKER FROM HIS THRONE? If you don't, THEN SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES! Don't forget that this is a maniac with access to the BIG RED LAUNCH MISSILES BUTTON πŸ”΄

In my opinion, or from my perspective on this, all that Iran needs to do is refine enough fissile material for one atomic bomb, and they instantly become a superpower, a threat to all nations. Think of that one too, eh? It would be like if France gave Canada one nuclear bomb; Canada would instantly become a superpower. All you have to do is blow up one city. WHICH ONE? Once they detect who launched the nuclear missile, a fleet of atomic bombs will follow it back to its origin, starting a chain reaction of missiles being launched everywhere. And that's that, the Earth will look more closely like Mars when the fires go out.

Welcome To Mars! This is Skyhook 223 MARK 2 going to City Square 🏘️πŸ›–⛺️πŸ•Œ Destination: The famous Face 🧝‍♂️ on West Ave., Sector 34, and southeast of the Great D&M Pyramid πŸ›• "How's life on Mars?" I ask the chap standing beside me, looking out at the desolate landscape. "I say," he said, "Well, it goes like this, dear chap, IT'S QUITE BREATH TAKING!" When they say gas station here, they mean gas, like in oxygen, and the sign said 500 miles to the next gas station to get gassed πŸ€£πŸ¦―πŸ’¨πŸΎ

How can we expect to reach the stars when we are still behaving like a bunch of barbarians beating each other up with sticks and stones? Or climbing over one another like crabs in a bucket?

I would like to believe, and pray πŸ™ that, as humans, humanity as one species, we should be more evolved emotionally, intellectually, and empathetically, so that we may teach other evolutionary beings by example, doing it as a more evolved, advanced, more benevolent, caring, civilized species, and break the chain of this never-ending GROUND HOG DAY!

Thank you for visiting and reading the Tree House News.

Read Scott Pelley’s full statement on firing from CBS News’ ‘60 Minutes’

“The collapse of values at the top has become untenable,” the award-winning journalist said. “The leadership of 60 Minutes is no longer recognizable.”

VIDEO | Included:

Veteran journalist Scott Pelley released a statement Tuesday night after he was fired from CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” bashing the network’s new leadership and saying “the collapse of values at the top” had become “untenable.” Pelley, whose decadeslong career at CBS News earned him dozens of Emmy Awards, was ousted from the network after criticizing the show’s newly named executive producer, Nick Bilton, and editor-in-chief, Bari Weiss, in a recent staff meeting.

In a call with CBS News staff members on Wednesday, Weiss defended Pelley’s firing and accused him of having broken a foundation of “trust and mutual respect.” “Despite our attempts to engage with Scott Pelley and to find a way back, ...

Now, the new owner of our network is casting this legend aside, apparently to curry a moment of favor with the Trump administration.

Republican infighting in Iowa points to GOP peril after Feenstra loses governor’s race

Trump’s endorsement has essentially been the gold standard in Republican politics. But not this time.

Republicans have not lost a gubernatorial race in Iowa since George W. Bush was president. So the anxiety within the GOP as voters went to the polls Tuesday was, on its face, hard to explain...

But the projected defeat of Rep. Randy Feenstra, Trump’s endorsed candidate, in the GOP primary for governor was an early sign of just how unpredictable voters may be in Iowa this year.

In the two decades since a Democrat last won the governorship, in 2006, Iowa has gone from presidential battleground to reliably red-state terrain, carried three times by Donald Trump. In most election cycles, that record would all but guarantee a comfortable race for Republicans this fall — even in a year when momentum is building on the left. *Not this year*...

  • What happened in Iowa on Tuesday was a clear test case of just how far the president’s blessing and the sway of partisan identity can carry a candidate over the finish line:

Iowa could become a tipping point for either Republicans maintaining sway for the final two years of Trump’s time in power or seeing it slip away.

Above World Cup venues, fighter jets will be on patrol

No fly zone in effect over FIFA sites, planes and drones banned

Fighter jets — likely armed with missiles and machine guns — will be on patrol over Vancouver and Toronto over the next several weeks, protecting World Cup match venues and fan festivals. "It'll be very big," U.S. Air Force Gen. Gregory Guillot told CBC News in an exclusive interview. He described the deployment as an "air patrol overhead to make sure that no aircraft with nefarious intent could get in there and interfere with the games."

While such combat air cover is standard in war zones, the armed missions are less frequently used in North American airspace — and happen at higher altitudes, so most people wouldn’t notice. Major events, such as the Super Bowl or any attended by the U.S. president, are common instances where military aircraft are on patrol...

Trump moves to hit over 60 countries including Canada with new tariffs over 'forced labour'

Proposed tariffs the latest step in replacing duties struck down by U.S. Supreme Court

The Trump administration plans to impose new tariffs on dozens of trading partners, including Canada, over allegations the countries are allowing goods produced by forced labour into their supply chains.

It's the White House's latest step to replace the broad-based tariffs that were struck down by the U.S. Supreme Court in February. The proposed new tariffs were announced by U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer late Tuesday night, not long after he wrapped up an afternoon meeting with Canada-U.S. Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc in Washington...

  • Forced labour accusation 'absurd,' says EU official:

Greer has now proposed a list of tariff rates that would apply to each trading partner*
