🧚‍♀️ TREE HOUSE NEWS 🏡

NEWS AGGREGATOR & COMMENTS

Great Spirit bless 🙏

Hi! Well, so far, today appears to be the second day I awoke feeling rather free of any discomfort. Isn't that wonderful? I guess I am not ready for the junkyard yet. That makes me think of the junkyard bot 🤖 in the (2008) movie "WALL•E!" I like cute robots 🥹

I'm a little late getting the old Ford that's me cranked up this morning, wasting too much time "playing yo-yo." That's what I call the running back and forth getting everything together, one item at a time, when I could grab all of them in one swipe and save myself a lot of yo-yos throughout the day. It's short-term memory, not age; I've been cursed with a lack of short-term memory, or should I say absent-mindedness.

Question: Absentminded:

🔹AI Overview

Absentminded: Being absentminded means being so *lost in thought, daydreaming, or preoccupied* that you fail to notice your immediate surroundings or forget what you are doing. It involves a lack of attention to the present moment, often resulting in minor *memory lapses, such as losing your keys or missing appointments.*

I believe this is more the BINGO! for me. Now I have no further doubt, I'M FROM CYDONIA MARS! ° .🟠*

That will be about it from me here in the Newsroom 📑 Thank you for visiting and reading the Tree House News 🏡

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

WHAT IS WISDOM:

WHAT IS WISDOM FOR ME MAY NOT BE WISDOM FOR SOMEONE ELSE

My wisdom versus your wisdom. Usually, divergence is a matter of perceiving the same idea or belief differently. One person sees the idea as inert, non- existent, contrary to their beliefs. Can that belief be proven? Is it philosophically, biblically, or scientifically feasible, or just leftover junk G-d didn't need to make the universe, asteroid belts, or anything else?? Hmmm, if Elon could get a big enough ship up there, it would make for a great mining field. So even asteroid belts have a purpose.

I believe we, the human species, need to learn to be one, at peace, and gain wisdom to be the caretakers, not the enemy of nature or one another, and we will never lack for anything.

Wisdom to me is whatever I feel inside, whether that be negatively or positively, I react accordingly to whatever I feel. To me, whatever I feel, if negative, then to me it's negative, and I stay away. If I feel positive, then I go with it. Then I'm Gone With The Wind. 😌

Question: WHAT IS WISDOM?

🔹AI Overview

Wisdom: is the ability to use your knowledge and life experience to make sound, ethical, and practical judgments. It involves not just possessing information, but knowing how and when to apply it effectively to navigate life's complexities.

WISDOM to know right from wrong:

🔹AI Overview

Developing the wisdom to know right from wrong; requires a blend of moral reflection, empathy, and practical reasoning. This inner compass is strengthened by evaluating how your choices affect others, consulting your conscience, and learning from your experiences.

I know no one trusts anyone much anymore, so it's hard to trust anyone, and one especially can't blame those folks who have been kicked to the corner to live in rags in a makeshift tent or are threatened with that destination. Hard to trust what you see and read in the news, too many lies have been told. I will say. There ain't no lies or deception coming out of the *TREE HOUSE NEWS*, I tell um as I see um. ORANGE FACE 🎃 need kick in pants 👖

I do my research through SNOPES and AI Google Search. OK, now it's on with the news of the day.

Supreme Court gives Trump major wins on two immigration cases

The justices ruled the president can end temporary deportation protections for some foreign nationals and can restart a controversial asylum policy.

Today's Opinions:

• The Supreme Court allowed President Donald Trump to end temporary deportation protections for potentially millions of foreign nationals who hail from countries like Haiti and Syria that have endured war and natural disasters.

• The court also cleared the way for the Trump administration to revive a controversial policy that aims to curb the number of migrants that officials at the southern border must process to determine whether they have a right to seek safe haven in the US.

• The justices struck down a Hawaii law that banned guns on private property open to the public where the owner hadn’t explicitly condoned the carrying of firearms.

Trump turns Congress’ housing boom bill into a bust

The president can’t fathom the point of Congress passing a law that doesn’t provide instant results and gratification.

VIDEO | Included:

Congress hadn’t done much worth celebrating in recent years. Its members have largely been lawmakers in name only as legislating has ground to a near halt. But this week, to address skyrocketing costs for renters and potential homeowners alike, the House joined the Senate to pass the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, the most sweeping housing law in decades.

Leave it to President Donald Trump to completely ruin the mood. Trump abruptly canceled Wednesday’s planned signing ceremony for the law because he’s angry the Senate hasn’t passed his misnamed SAVE America Act...

  • Trump’s petulance changed the lesson to a reminder of why legislative wins are so rare these days.:

Mark Carney's plan to bulk-buy unsold Vancouver condos might be a bailout, but it doesn't have to be

Canada-B.C. partnership to convert more than 2,200 unsold condos into affordable housing

People need affordable homes, and thousands of empty condos in British Columbia are waiting to be sold. The federal government has an idea to help with both: Prime Minister Mark Carney is partnering with the B.C. government to convert vacant condos into affordable housing units.

Carney has said he's "leveraging financial tools" to increase the housing supply, but Opposition leader Pierre Poilievre skewered the scheme as "bailout" for big developers and "a transfer of wealth from the have-nots to the have-yachts." And he's not the only critic.

The public doesn't know enough about how the government plans to acquire more than 2,200 unsold units in B.C.,.
