"Blaaah ๐Ÿ‘…!" Another stupid rainy day with intermittent storms ⛈️ predicted for today, after all the flooding we've had. The gODS OF NATURE ๐Ÿž️๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒฟ ๐Ÿƒ must be on the warpath again ๐Ÿ˜ก๐Ÿ‘‘⚡️ I wonder which pale face ๐Ÿ—ฃ pi--ed ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿšฝ them off this time? Need I go further?*_

I wouldn't be surprised if even some of the ancient god Pharaohs are astir in unrest in their sarcophagises ⚰️ somewhere in the many lost underground temples ๐Ÿ•Œ around the world.

"Watch out for the earthquakes ๐ŸŒ๏ฎฉูจู€๏ฎฉ๏ฎฉูจู€ in Washington!"

"OH MY! ATTACK OF THE MUMMIES ๐Ÿ˜ฑ !" - That's bad enough; I hope the Daddies stay home - The lady screams, THE MUMMIES ARE COMING ๐“ˆ running wildly, waving her arms, her eyes open as wide as two Canadian toonies. The flower on her hat ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ‘’ bounces up and down as she sprints down 5️⃣th Ave like she needs to find the latrine ๐Ÿšฝ like, REAL QUICK. The Orange Kink of Shmuckmerica doesn't have to worry about finding a latrine; he carries his dumps ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ๐Ÿ’ฉ with him ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ

Well, that will be enough nonsense for today. Thank you for visiting and reading the Tree House News ๐Ÿก

TODAY'S DISCUSSION:

HEALTH CARE ONTARIO CONT

Question: Is the federal government considering taking over the present failing provincial healthcare system or just letting healthcare go private

๐Ÿ”นAI Overview

The federal government is not considering a takeover of provincial healthcare systems, nor is it intentionally letting the system go private. Under the Constitution Act, 1867, health care administration is a provincial responsibility, and Ottawa lacks the legal authority to seize control. Instead, the federal government uses the Canada Health Act to enforce public-funding standards while providing billions in financial transfers to provinces.

Is the Federal Government doing anything to stop the privatization of our provincial health care system?

๐Ÿ”นAI Overview

The federal government is using policy updates and funding rules to push back against private healthcare expansion. It issued a strict interpretation of the Canada Health Act targeting patient-paid user fees and extra-billing in private clinics, alongside tying billions in federal healthcare transfers to public accountability rules

WHAT THIS MEANS IN PLAIN LANGUAGE.

G.D. thieves are everywhere nowadays, and the chief of thieves appears to be the Pirate Ford and his brigands. This is why it's so important to catch these corporate thieves while they still have their hands in the effing cookie jar. They are the very ones, like blood suckers, who would suck up all of the nation's blood until we are all anemic.*_

I can't remind my fellow Canadians often enough, or in stronger terms, of the importance of writing to or calling your Member of Parliament and your Member of Provincial Parliament to tell them, in simple words, that you don't want the healthcare system in YOUR PROVINCE to become privatized. You can find contact information for your MP and MPP by Googling MP or MPP and adding your postcode. Please call their office, as it takes an assistant's time to take your brief message. PLEASE GET INVOLVED! IT'S OUR HEALTH CARE. Thank you

How Tucker Carlson is creating a lane for a third party to take on the GOP

Signs that the right-wing pundit and his allies want to launch an antiwar third party are mounting.

VIDEO | Included:

Right-wing pundit Tucker Carlson announced in June that he was leaving the Republican Party because he was incensed at President Donald Trump for launching a war against Iran. Surprisingly, what began as a theatrical (and possibly temporary) exit from the GOP has led to a more adversarial and organized opposition. The former Fox News personality appears to be trying to help launch — or encourage the launch of — a right-wing third party. If it comes to fruition, that could be a terrible thorn in the side of Republicans.

In an interview with the Columbia Journalism Review published in July, Carlson said he was “going to help build a third party” as part of his “good-faith effort to figure out what benefits the country.” In his explanation he leaned into the same isolationism he cited when he said he was leaving the GOP...

  • The Carlson rebellion reflects the strange state of the organized right:
